Who's a more reliable vendor, faster shipping etc... steven or sunshinestore? I'm tossing up between D020-D and FC-187....

They function similarly. The biggest difference for me is that I have to tweak my neck a bit using the sidecar. I think I like the sidecar because it just looks cool.

The D020-D is quite similar to the GB-187. Just different blowers interpretations of a popular design (Mobius matrix ion bubbler).

:peace:
I have the FC 187 fitted with à vap2
It works well and super cheap!
Tonight a nano!

PARIS OG = very awesome!

All the vendor have been fine in my case.
Sunshinestore is òf of the better ones!
Steven did wèll in producing my FC 187
Kathy 0577 very nicè!

Sunshinestore All day long - steven is ok - but build quality and custom service is far superior with Sunshinestore.

Get the D020-D - unless you want the sidecar.

I personally am waiting for Yingmin5 to release a sidecar GB-187

I'd like to see a function video for the FC-187 V2. If it's anything like the stereo matrix video then it'll have some insane stacking:rockon:

Yingmin5 told me he was releasing some of those (sidecar gb-187's) this week.
They were in production last I checked tho, so there weren't any pics available yet.

Because I tend to do a pretty hot final hit on the flowers, so the extra diffusion of the 186 helps if I am approaching temp that could scorch the top surface of my flowers if I'm not careful.

For concentrates, I take lots of smaller hits and like lighter diffusion. Might just be personal choice on that because I can't come up with as logical of an explanation for it.

I was using the FC-187 with the water about 3/4" above the perc for my Errlectric ENAil. The cooling of the large water volume is nice. I know this is an insane amount of water, but with the restriction of the nail it worked (it broke Sat. Nite) great. I ordered a lefty and a righty FC-187 to replace it.

The GB-186 is the double matrix mobius knockoff can right?
Edit, that's the GB 186-1. No idea what a GB-186 is.

sunshinestore

Steven is relatively new and has hit a few speed bumbs with long waits before shipping, but his are custom/prototype pieces so apples to oranges.

Still haven't decided? IMO, you can't go wrong with the D-020-D from SunShineStore, it even comes with a 18mm -> 18mm male that can be used directly with the LSV. Quick shipping and good QC. Or maybe even the D-020, though it might be too small paired with the LSV.

The FC-187 is quite bigger and requires more lung function to fill and clear and IMO is a better bang for your buck, but I'm thinking you would be better off with something smaller since you are the king of conservation,

Thanks Tweak. Seriously thinkin' 'bout the D-020-D. Looks to be about the perfect size for me.

Edit: One more question. I've been hitting my LSV thru a Steele Concepts tube. Do ya think I'll notice a big difference with the D-020-D going from polycarbonate/stainless to glass? I would think there would be, but I really don't know for sure.

btw, in regards to the SC tube I'm using, check out this vid. They even put in a nice shot of FC near the end at 4:45:

Ergonomically and aesthetically will be completely different, for the better IMO. You can easily hold it or hit it while sitting at a desk. I prefer bubblers with dewaar, so your vaporizer sits vertically on top and doesn't make the piece lean or stress the joint as bad.

Function wise, I'm sure you will notice a difference too. A showerhead provides more diffusion while at the same time being less chuggy feel than a glass downstem.

Looking back through my order details, it's been 1 year since I first got the D-020:

Thanks tweak, ratchett. Decided on the D020-D, mrs ordered it for me a couple hours ago for valentines and its already marked as shipped

Also already had a medium sized black leaf double HC bong coming from EDIT (30cm tall I think), was that a wasted purchase i.e would the larger volume be an issue? Will I most likely prefer the D020-D paired with the solo?

Hey guys! So I got my first DH Gate piece about a month ago.(http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/cheap-high-quality-bubbler.5255/page-514#post-705598)

I used it for a week and then I didn't use it since I had to go out of the country. So while I was not home I let a friend of mine borrow it. He promised that he would be careful and it would be in good hands. But of course, when I got back, he shot me a text and said that he broke it.

ON the positive side, he will pay me back so I have money for another piece!

I was looking at something like this: http://www.dhgate.com/product/inlin...-pipe-glass/216568809.html#s5-11-1|3956044554

Anyone have any experience with any of the inline perc bongs? How does the inline perc compare to the matrix percs?

I can't begin to tell ya how many times I've heard that exact same story. :\

There should be like a 10 Commandments for those of us who partake, with the first one being:

Thou shalt not loan out any vaporizer or smoking device to anyone without me being present at all times.

Yeah, it was a mistake. But I kinda thought it was a good idea at the time since I don't like to store smoking related stuff in my room while I am away(I live with others in the same house and they are pretty anti-pot).

Anyway, I'm just going to risk it and order the piece I asked about:http://www.dhgate.com/product/inlin...er-pipe-glass/216568809.html#cart_view-2-null

Might as well spend a couple bucks more and get the ceramic nail option even though I am at 80% bud 20% dabs right now. That might change in the future.

Look just like this one from thick ass glass: http://www.thickassglass.com/collections/tree-percs/products/tag-10-5-inline-to-8-arm-tree-perc-5mm

Also going to get an inline ash catcher: http://www.dhgate.com/product/18-8m...er-percolator/210524578.html#s1-14-7|78747405

It looks fragile as hell, but it looks sweet and will prevent the main piece from getting dirty.

This time I will be keeping everything within my reach.

I have really not been impressed with tree-percs on these china pieces. Every single tree-perc I've seen on DHgate has an open end, meaning they are very chuggy, and rarely fire through the side slits.

Matrix percs really depend on where you buy them from. Some vendors have perfect matrix's with even cuts all around. While other matrix percs are complete shit because the cuts are uneven (different shapes/sizes for each hole in the perc).

I have had several matrix pieces and I notice that the slits lower in the perc rarely fire. Except on a HARD clear with no restriction. In other words, never, when I'm using them. I am almost beginning to feel that matrix=all for show.(Heresy??, maybe) regardless, I still like them.

I remember reading somewhere that Mobius stated the bottom slits are the reason there is very little drag with the Matrix perc. They don't fire with bubbles, but they let water flow through to not restrict the top slits from firing. Keeps the top fed with low resistant water.
