I think people say that because of delays and maybe he isnt the quickest on a reply when you want info,but saying that,when this thread was in its infancy AE was the go to place and for the most part it took a month to get your rig.Well being that import being sold locally was outrageously priced, when you saw what you could pay on line from the same peeps that the LHS was gouging ,you waited and you didnt give a fug. Ataxian and myself just order and after about 3 weeks I go and take the tracking # and enter it in the USPS site and see where it is, back then as long as it said it shipped I was OK,a month later you were vaping thru it. Im an old fart so I have learned that some shit aint worth fretting over. Back then if it didnt show, I requested a refund and moved on to another.

Instant gratification is nice but it will cost you a whole lot more from the shyster who will charge you 3-4x more .If ya got, go for it, otherwise while waiting for it, I just use another rig in the collection and after a few rips............pipe I ordered a pipe?, oh yeah that one YMMV

I really dont mind the wait, just want to make sure I will get what I pay for. Im really mostly interested in if I can get a female instead of male, but only so that I know what adapter I might need. I tried messaging the seller but dhgate just shows me a loading screen everytime i hit send.

If it is anything like the double barrel it will be about 8-10" but a small piece compared to that bulkier GB-189? FWIW @Meghan got it in about a week mine was slowed bc of USPS not bc of China/epacket. Imagine that, the American government workers are possibly worst than the Chinese, with a much higher cost of labor. Shocking huh, lol?!? So please quit bashing China and these wonderful sellers helping us tremendously.

Ataxian,Thank you!! lost a 1/3 of a lung to CA. Was professional firefighter/medic in a large metro dept and got ill. I dont like burning but sometimes I am with a gnarly bunch of hardcore heads (old 'nam vets) and we ride Harleys and Ive only been able to convert a small handful to not burn and vape instead. But some times I do partake and shouldnt!!
I love my older Solo and was mentioning that some rigs like cyclones, tornado's dont get enough velocity of air to cause the swirling action,but once you lift the gong out you get your warm and fuzzy watching it perform the action of a vortex.But Ive seen them in action when being used as a combustion piece and they rock!!

Joints,mm mmm good back in the day but you are correct, there is a difference to the highs of vaping vs combustion. I think combustion folks are also getting a buzz on from some very ugly gases affiliated with combustion.The vape buzz is 100 % cleaner and IMO nothing can beat the sweet taste of vapor........as Jackie Gleason used to say at the end of his variety show of the 60's: HOW SWEET IT IS!! I have never had a problem with any vendors,most in the past were slow to respond and I always rec'd what was shown,also a picture is taken to show proof of what you bought. if its not that pic, bam! game over REFUND in order

I think for the massive amount of biz they must do globally with their products,for them to offer single pieces amazes me.I have always known about import mkt.places and for the most part products are sold in lots,like we see a lot for some of the glass. Trade key is another,I wish i could remember the others, but very little is offered for sale in single units. I would think for these large factories, the paperwork/logistics for a single unit isnt worth it

Its worse here, I mentioned a week or so ago I went to my LHS and saw the single blue honeycomb that kathy and others sell for $130. Either way though thanks for the info. I feel good about BTOC as a seller now just need to know if I can get a female 19mm made or just need an adapter, which is no big deal.

I have this $58 one it's nice but not a recycler at all. It's cool with a jhook attached and very thick even around the joints, which is better than the Kathy ac's but for twice the price. The hc domed ac from Kathy is my most used ac by far, I just wish the 18mm female joint was thicker.

wooo Kathy's mini-rig recycler #2 came in today, its the smaller one, with the 10mm joint. Very well made, very functional, even has a tiny vortex in the bulb I extended the mouthpiece easily with some silicone tubing and it puts the lotus at a reasonable distance at a tilt. Feels a little delicate, I would be careful not to knock this one around too much, but all the welds do look pretty clean and even, haven't found any cracks. I like the way the marble on top of the "can" magnifies the chamber and water movement. Adds to the entertainment value for sure. Over all I am very pleased with this tiny rig/recycler. Well, here are some pics and vids...

well, after letting it sit with some water in it for a while, I found a pinhole leak where the male joint tubing is welded to the stem at the very corner, so once again I will seal it up with aquarium silicone, it's 2 for 2 on at least one leaky weld from Kathy's recyclers. Again not a deal breaker by any means, I don't worry about the tiny amount of silicone it will take to fix it, but buyer beware Otherwise, I am pleased with this one. It functions well, and is so tiny!!

I'm waiting on vids and reviews from fellow Vaporist before buying the tornado, but I think I'll pull the trigger on the 186 this weekend and I'll probably go ahead and get the Double Barrel since I already have a Pistol Gripped Pump LoL Seriously though thats one of Hitmans designs I loved but wouldnt spend for. I love this affordable quality glass it allows me to try different designs for little of nothing and not feel broken when an accident occurs. I plan to have 7 shelves on my walls full by this time next year. I laugh when I hear you guys saying you need to clear out stuff. This is my preference of art and its a little bit of who I am an expression if you will. Im going to be the Photorider of cheap Glass! I have 6 pieces of expensive glass and will never own nor purchase another. If you dont know you just dont know, But I've learned!!

They are actually really similar in how they hit. I haven't done any side by side though. I think the mini is much more delicate feeling, though it does seem fairly solid (aside from that weeping weld) I did a dab with the mini and it knocked me back pretty good, so all in all, it functions really well as a dab rig, and I have now been using the lotus with the mods. I don't think I can go any smaller than these pieces with the lotus... I am not a huge fan of that angled dome, for some reason. I would much rather just use domeless. I'll probably make that my next purchase. Been waiting it out, because this nail I have now works great too. Kathy sent me 2 different 10mm domes with my last order, and I can use the extra on this rig if I need to.

Yeah, jhook and ash catcher make a great lotus combo. I could see that angled dome not working too well, it doesn't really enclose the nail. Looks good though You have a DYD Ti nail right? It sure rains a lot in late autumn and winter, but man are the spring/summers/and most of autumn to die for. Seattle is incredible. You have to have been there more than once and believed beyond the movies and what people say (about Seattle just being rain) to really appreciate WHAT Seattle is in a whole.
