OK, I've picked up my shipment from Max Quality Glass (
http://www.ioffer.com/selling/maxqualityglass)
I got;
- Honeycomb to Honeycomb to Turbine tube
- Fritter to Fritter DI Bubbler
- Honeycomb to Fritter Bubbler
I've been wanting a few things in a piece recently that this tube brings to the table,
Honeycomb perc [check]
Turbine [check]
Large volume [check]
This thing is a beast, it's stupid heavy/thick (good stupid
). I've already had 2 friends say you could use the thing as a weapon
It hits amazingly, the heft stops the feeling of the bubbles bouncing around, so the draw feels really, really smooth (so long as you avoid the natural perc effect in the stemless)
[EDIT: the draw is that smooth, I've actually half thought I forgot to put water in it while I'm hitting it, then when I clear it the turbine kicks in and I can let that thought go. I can only put that down to the thing being so solid

Close-ups of the tube:
I asked if it was possible to get the Double fritter with a female joint, but because I was haggling on price I made it clear that I'd rather get it DI if that would allow them to make it cheaper for me.
They didn't mention it in the rest of our dealings, so I figured I'd just let it be a surprise.
Then I open the package and they included a female to female adapter
, which I found to be a very nice touch. It also came with a glass nail and dome.
I was a bit worried that the frit would be too fine and add lots of drag, especially with 2 of them, but from some water tests and 1 run with my Solo it performs great
God I love fritters
I have a buddy who's thinking about nabbing a bub soon, so I grabbed this one so he can choose between this or the double fritter if he wants to skip the hassle of importing, essentially the exact same form factor as the double fritter, but with a honeycomb for the bottom disc, and female inlet instead of DI.
The water test felt very similar to the double fritter, with the honeycomb adding a bit more violence to the diffusion compared to the frit (while the frit diffuses more, its a smoother formation of bubbles)
The build quality on them is nice.
A few minor bits here and there, but for the price I paid, I'm an extremely happy camper.
Everything feels super thick and solid, the heft behind them is impressive.
There are a few minor bubbles in some of the joins, but given these were all in the $100 price range, it's totally acceptable IMO.
If they were proper high quality $300 pieces I'd be a bit unhappy [EDIT: not even unhappy really, just slightly less satisfied] (purely with minor things, Functionally they are 100% Great)
The stem on the DI bub leans a bit toward the can, but doesn't seem to stop it from being able to mate with any vapes, and didn't stick the solo in my face, so it's all good.
This is pretty much how I feel:
