Cheap High Quality Bubbler

BigDaddyVapor

@BigDogJunction
I've come close now to consider getting a nice bubbler now instead of another vape, hopefully at some point I'll be able to obtain a cloud without the hydra tube$.

In the mean time I would like to use this bubbler on other herbs as I don't need it for my herbs unless they where not flushed properly or cured, FUCK COMBUSTION AND FUCK CHLOROPHYLL

I am thinking of getting (thoughts suggestions ?) http://www.gogopipes.com/Glass_Bubbler-perk_glass_bubblers.html
in the meantime for trying out different herbs. The thing is I don't use water filtration when medicating regularly, its hard to judge if I should get this or not. If vaping other herbal botanticals ends up being piss(nasty acidic vapor) I am pretty sure I would have preferred not getting this yet I could use it as a dry piece for the cloud if the time ever comes.

Heck, got a reinforced tree. Pretty good for a sub-$100 piece. Nice small size, for vapor. Should work out all right. I've got an 11-arm tree on an ac/perc and its got the smoothest pull/drag and taming the vapor, than my other percs.

http://www.google.com/search?aq=f&s...TF-8&q=helix+bubbler#biv=i|2;d|f9gZyrET3MIKwM:

it's a helix bubbler but it usually comes in a package with all 3 attachments. it's really cool! i have had mine for a little over a year and i love it. plus i got lucky, the guy at the smoke shop i got it from was dressed in peroid norse costume and my SO chatted him up with history and we got a deal on it. always awesome :D

Hey guys, I don't know If someone already posted this site, but in my opinion is worth a look, they have pretty interesting stuff in bubblers and cheap bigger stuff too :)

www.just4smokers.com

Note: be aware of the descriptions, photos are ok, but descriptions don't confirm photo...
Sometimes very nice pieces are missing specs like glass thickness, height, etc etc.
Is this shady??
New site?? Newbies???
People just for the money and not having a clue of what are they selling?? Kind of hipsters??
Who knows??
Photos looks awesome..
Anyone here ever bought from them??
Enjoy it

BTW @ iLoveB00bs , they have Liquid Sci. glass here, can you confirm if they are originals or knock offs??? You are the only FC member who has one at the moment.

They have Matrix copies as well, check it out...

OK, BE VERY CAREFUL GUYS, MANY PHOTOS AND DESCRIPTIONS DON'T MAKE SENSE.
I'LL BE CALLING BEFOREHAND OR ASK FOR MORE DETAILS.
SORRY ABOUT THAT, I GET SO EXCITED ABOUT SOME PIECES THEY HAVE.

BTW, look at this in this site, looks awesome, maybe a down stem change, for a cheap showerhead downstem :)

I tried searching for reviews of the website... and found a youtube video that said "inline water pipe review from just4smokers customer!"

then "published by just4smokers"
:tinfoil:

rubs me a bit wrong

Yes, I thought the same, reviews looks like people working for them :) lol
But, damn they have some interesting prices and pieces.
I don't really know, but, all the pieces they have, they look like outdated to me, or like really really really well done copies to me. Are they selling the year or more before last models???
Am I wrong or too suspicious??? :suspicious:

Today... to my absolute shock (and horror... I wanted to catch the mailman before my wife... @#$%)... my Saxo bubbler arrived today. Holy vapor volume, Batman. This thing is a LOT bigger than it looks. I had concern about it, but when I saw Wat's video... it didn't look this big? They say the camera adds 10-15 lbs. My ass, it does!

Big, it is. Yes, I "fogged" it up with my MFLB. Well, kinda like skim milk. But there was a cloud of vapor and @#$%, it hit like a truck. Whatever you want to say about Black Leaf (and I honestly think they're lying about 5mm glass.... psh), the 10-arm on this, fires perfect. Absolutely perfect. 1st set of cuts start to fire on the pull, go to clear and its like blast off. I liked the way they reinforced the arms to. Instead of little glass welds, they inserted a closed (both) end tube. The percs rest up against/around it and it holds them SOLID.

If you look at it, from the top... the Dewarr is offset center, ever so slightly. Which when I noticed, I shit my pants, because I knew the downstem was going to lean, or be off-center by a huge amount. Looked at it again and no. The arm is close to straight as you can be, without being absolutely straight. It bends ever so slightly, so at the bottom, it actually ends up centered. You won't notice looking straight on... have to look from the top. So no complaint there.

No marks on the glass, every time I thought I found a blemish, it was a sticker smudge. Haven't found any bubbles in the glass yet. The glass is clean and solid enough, even with my doubts about it being 5mm. The base, I think adds to the perception of it being BIG. The base itself is massive. I won't be adding any attachments (besides a whip adapter), but you could certainly stack the piece, twice its height, without any problem.

Happy I got it, while I wait for my SSFG, it will make the time a little more bearable (though, I had to bend the truth, to my wife... little white lie). Didn't hear from Allison today, so Ray probably wasn't able to get to my downstem until today. No worry, no hurry. UPS across the country, I'll have it in 3-4 days, once it does ship, which should be tomorrow. Until then, I get to enjoy my new piece.

EDIT: Oops... I did hear from Allison today. Reading her email now. Yep... Ray's finishing it up today.

EDIT II: Getting some vapor in now, with more time. One thing I noticed, which I really like... is this piece is one of the most forgiving pieces, I've used with different water levels. On almost ALL my pieces, I typically run no more than 1/4" above the perc... and that's pushing it. I did the same with the Saxo and no drag. So much NO drag (oxymoron, I know)... I actually wanted some. I'm at about 1/2", maybe 3/4" above now... and the drag is perfect and its a LOT easier to watch my vapor and gauge hits now. Really liking this piece. Will be awesome with my HI when I get it.

Pictures and maybe a video... might not be until tomorrow though.

THE F BOMB

I know some of you have seen and heard about this but maybe a few haven t.

Its called the fbomb. its a bubbler hydratube type affair being developed by Planet vape for vapes like EQ Solo and logs like the Hi.
It will be spillproof 14mm dewarr.they are looking for input as to how the design should go,Frit or showerhead etc before they begin production.
They take FCs comment very seriously and are looking to the community for input on the design.would be cool to get it right for them, and the community happy with the result.hope you guys can check it out and add some comment.

I'm pretty interested to see what they come up with.Could turn into something really special.:)

so i picked this up the other day.

http://www.gogopipes.com/Glass_Bubbler-perk_glass_bubblers.html

12 arm tree bubbler
~9in tall
4in base

ONLY $70!!!

i got it shipped to my house with priority shipping within three days for only $82. the glass is pretty solid. definitely not thin so it can handle a tip over or two but due to the steady base i can't see that happening too often. i can tell that the mouth piece weld onto the can could be a bit better, but thats just my opinion. the hole for the mouthpiece is just slightly off center. the trees aren't 'perfectly' cut but are a decent job.

overall, for the price and the slight imperfections here and there, i think this is a great deal and don't regret jumping on it as quick as i did.

I was thinking about this one to use w/ the Cloud. I am searching for a low cost bub that has a wide stable base and center stem, so the Cloud isn't off center, likely to tip over. Do you have any idea of how well this piece might work with a Cloud? I see you don't have one, but thought you might at least have an idea of how big they are etc...

@BigDogJunction
Saxo Bubbler... 5mm 6" base. Nothing is tipping it over. Its a top loader (dewaar) and would handle the Cloud with ease.

you talking about the black leaf saxo? I'm really tempted to go for that 12 arm bub, such a good price, and looks like it's made to set the cloud right on top... it's worth the $80 to find out I guess...

don't know if it was already posted, but I found this one too, a little higher in the price, but looks pretty nice.

**OK, just went for the 12 arm bub for $77 total shipped priority mail, I'll post pics or maybe a vid when it gets here, if it's good enough to mention. I know in the glass world, you get what you pay for most of the time, so expectations are low. Just hoping it's as good as the one HighlyEducated got. Crossing fingers...

I feel like there's a possibility the cloud might not make the required clearance and hit the mouthpiece on that one. I'm not 100% certain, but since pieces usually seem smaller in person than the pictures, I wouldn't rule it out.

It's great though, fatty base

Yeah, it looks close, but the clearance on my DG mini is pretty tight too, the cloud is thinner facing one way than the other, so hoping it's a good find. I suppose I could use an adapter to raise it up a bit if it does hit the stem. I think it will be close, but maybe just enough. Hard to tell from the photo. hoping to have it by the weekend.

Naw, this is the one I was talking about. I got it, because it had the base, unlike the others. However, I hadn't ANY idea when I ordered it, the base was 6" wide. It is huge! At least half the size of my Johnson. :o

Black Leaf Saxo Bubbler 10-Arm Tree Perc

You could stack @#$% a couple feet high on this, before it would start to even lose balance..

Yeah, I was looking at those too, but wondered how the Cloud would fit into that inset joint.

The Cloud is an 18mm male joint, isn't it? Should fit just fine in the Dewaar. I'd think it'd be the preferred connection. If I'm so lucky, to ever get a cloud, I'm betting on the Saxo becoming my favorite piece.

Or just buy a $20 - $30 male/female 18mm adapter, to extend it.

This is how it would fit my piece. Similar dimensions. Don't know why he uses the adapter. Doesn't look necessary.

so i just measured my piece, and the distance from that 'bowl' (not really sure what to call it but i think you know what i mean), to the mouth piece is 1.2inches. hopefully that would help you a bit with your question on whether it would work with your Cloud. the only thing i'd have to say about this is that your Cloud may be right in your face when hitting it but im not sure how much that would bother you. besides that, for the price, this is a pretty good deal IMO. if not, im sure it would still make for pretty good resell value to friends and whoever. my friends saw mine and were drooling haha :D

jambandphan03

Thanks for the measurement! The cloud only needs 1" clearance, so that sounds like it will have just enough room. I am already using a piece that puts the cloud in my face, so I am already used to that. I am hoping this one will put a bit more distance than my current piece since the neck is curved out more, and won't be likely to fall forward. My mini can works well, but feels like it could easily tip forward if bumped when the Cloud is on it. I was hoping the central location of the downstem would help center the weight over the base. I agree, worse case is I move it along to someone else at a fair price if it's not right for the Cloud. I enjoy the Hydracirc that came with the Cloud but feel a little better about using it on a piece when sitting at my desk, or when other people want to use it.

BigDaddyVapor

@BigDogJunction
Perfect opening for a Cloud, plus a curved downtube, putting it further away from your face, big beefy glass... for monster hits. I'm just saying...

20120727_005557.jpg

Grab a ruler and remind yourself how big 6" is, for a bubbler base. *BAM*
20120727_005109.jpg

Oh... space between your face and the cloud... if you drew a vertical line from the edge of the Dewaar, to the edge of the top of the mouthpiece... 5". Plenty of room for a Cloud.

Dang BigDaddy, if I had not already pulled the trigger on the other mulit-downstem bub, I would probably get that blackleaf. We'll see how the one I already ordered works out, if it's inferior to work for my needs, that blackleaf is next on the list of possible replacements. It looks like a beast, I am tempted to just pick one up... what I need to do is decide if I want to sell my DG mini can first...

ask and you shall recieve,

this is a video i made for reddit and was going to make a new one for FC soon. just wanted to get a 18/14 reducer before i made the one for FC cause the vape to bubb connection is completely airtight. i'll definitely show you guys a new one when i get that new reducer too.

edit: also, this was taken on my iPhone so obviously it isn't the best video quality and can't show the piece to the fullest but i think it still gives you a good idea.
