Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Other than an American recycler I bought (which I never use), the HD3 is still the most expensive piece of glass I have purchased at about $112 delivered on sale. Most of my glass is China glass. That is why I hang out in the Cheap Glass thread.

Yeah that is such a stellar deal with that old code! It started with me with the CaliBear straight fab FOL that I justified spending $111 for the first time, Goo 3piece at $151 came next and the replacement mouthpiece for it was $45 too... Now with Fire Within Glass pieces and my little Heady pieces I have several of the more expensive high-end glass in my collection now, but all the cheap glass still out numbers them! I've been thinking about starting a general glass thread, but it just seems like a waste lol

Those Goo Roo color accent 3piece look sooooo nice! I really like a little color on my glass pieces. But since I seem to like small pieces I think it would be to big for me. The piece that I reach for the most is only 4” tall. Well 7” if you include the mouth piece. Still trying to figure out if it’s the small size I like or the draw resistance from the size and the bend in the neck.

It would be different, but it hits so nice.

There is a nice restriction with the goo, but it is a smooth pull too, that's why it works so well with so much, if you want less volume to fill you can load more water, but it is a pretty tall piece, especially with that mouthpiece and no angled adapter... It works well with some portables, Tetra, SplinterZ, even FW7 and TM, but it is pretty great with desktops like the injector style Cloud Connoisseur Halo... Also great with logs! Narrow for comfortable hand holding and hitting from the coughee table too

Cheap? Yes. High-quality? More-or-less. Bubbler? Sorta.

It's got slight tippiness issues, a big gurgle, and some kind of weird, loose joint, but it's fun and funky and torch vapes are just about where you want them!

Cool, it looks very similar to this one that was shared in the heady thread:
I hope this fits here: I recently bought a Roor Pocket Friend. I'm using it with my tinymight.
I especially like how the vapor builds up in the piece.
What do you think?

Yeah, to be fair I guess I have to include the replacement downstem too so my HD3 jumps up to about $152.

I HAVE lusted a little for the smaller 3 piece and the color options do make it even more attractive but with the Large Inline and the HD3 in my stable it really isn't at all necessary. Like necessary is ever really a factor after having just a couple decent pieces...

Ah, yes, Roor Pocket, I think? That's really a nice one too!

Well, I think they're both German made so maybe there's some imitation? I would expect other glass makers to take a cue from someone like Roor.

I need some new glass to go with the Anvil I got coming my way (well should be June at least) and my MiniVAP (once I finally get that glass kit lol). This has intrigued me from the moment I saw it:

Oh been meaning to share this from DHgate, circ perc shower head fab with donut:

I also came across this one but I have no idea if the design even makes sense. What do you guys think:

I've only used larger water pieces way back I combusted, vapes only small and simple. Before I buy something crazy, are there some proven classics (or replicas thereof that is lol) I should consider that would pair well with Anvil and MV?

While that last piece looks very interesting, I can't even imagine how it would/could work. It certainly does look cool tho. If anyone has it I'd love to see a water test.

I don't have an Anvil, but I imagine it hits similarly to the Vapcap. In that case you really don't want to add any restriction with your glass, so you should look for something with good airflow like most of the Goo Roo pieces or some of the more popular pieces from DHGate like the FC 187 (Mobius Clone) or the Rattlecan. Links and pics under my Spoiler.

Stay away! Haha those are all over DHgate and they are not functional, it is common to see crazy designs like this from China that won't work properly, because they don't know what they're actually making these for they can't even test really themselves... People ask about it on Reddit all the time lol

Just skim backwards through this thread and you'll find some great suggestions

Haha yea thought so, looks random af but otoh some of these top shelf pieces can also appear (?) way form over function.

Thanks yeah FC 187 seems like a solid choice though I think I'd prefer something taller c.q. higher mp for ergonomic reasons. I really like the HD 3 piece in ur sig. Don't know if something like that (3pc) is available in EU for reasonable price. I thought Ehle had a poor man's Roor vapor but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Yeah I have but that donut's remained my favorite like I said, but at the same time I can appreciate a proven design hence my inquiry ;)

I have that TAG 9" Super Slit Donut too and like it a lot, though if you like to hand hold your glass it is pretty thick and heavy. It has roughly the same volume as the HD3 cause it has a 75mm can. And I do love removable mouthpieces.

I’d especially like to track down that model with the removable mouthpiece.
