Most logos are blurred on TV, as its seen as
free advertising.
I understand- i just thought what made it "counterfeit" was "stealing" the overall design or whatever, but if that was the case then this thread couldn't exist in the first place lol xD
What about posting pictures of such a piece with the text/logo visible? should that really have been blurred out then?
Brand names (i.e. names under Copyright) displayed on pieces that aren't manufactured by them are classed as counterfeit.
If a glass pieces design was patented, then I assume they wouldn't be allowed to post it here at all.
Example: you buy a gucci
styled handbag, without any form of logo, that's a gray area, but not totally illegal (you're not claiming it to be something its not, i.e. a gucci handbag). If gucci took out a patent on the design, then regardless of logo, you'd be infringing on their patent).
TL;DR: you can post anything from DHgate, as long as it doesn't have a logo (it's real unlikely that a glass maker would have a patent on the design).
Also, I should really stop following this thread. I want moar glass!
