Feeling good. Contacted the owner of a HS where I picked up that funky piece I posted last weekend. I referred her to the GB 187 sidecar. She'll order it for me so I can avoid hassles with home delivery. Of course I wish I could get it at the wholesale price, but if I take care of it and it lasts me a long time, it will be worth the mark up.

I'm looking for a 14mm to 14mm downstem, as a replacement for my grav nano tube. I got the first replacement, which was a showerhead and perfect size,non ebay. Just checked and it isn't available anymore. I know the showerhead downstem was made in China but I really liked it, also I sa the same model recently in a headshop so I think it's still being made. But when I searched dhgate I could not even find a single 14mm to 14mm downstem regardless of style or size. Does know of any sellers that carry downstems? The majority of ones I could find had a male to make built in which I didn't like.

A little OT. I saw a great documentary on the pbs program, POV, the other night. It was on the dissident artist Ai Weiwei. At one point, while he's explaining why he thinks that before too long China won't be able to continue the kind of communication control it exerts now over its citizens, Ai Weiwei refers to the status of Chinese workers as "slavery to the world; cheap labour." Made me think. The China glass is loads of fun to look at and talk about and buy. The reality of those who make it, maybe not so much. Those slits are weird though on the joint, makes me wonder if this piece is going to whistle,
I hope they are big enough not to cause any significant drag issues :S.
The neck also appears long as fuck.

I say we just get the first one out the door and im sure steven or jane or whoever will be open to producing more..im still trying to get my damaged fc mod replaced..have sent pictures and still no response back..it makes the function so weird with the matrix hitting the bottom of the can..

Ive sent steven pictures of th main can of my fc mod that has a chunk of glass protruding from the bottom and the hits the downstem and makes for a weird function. He says that it looks clear to him and he sees bo color???wtf i said listen bro i never said a thing about color only that yout glassblower left behind a chunk of glass in the bottom of the can..so im awaiting the next response..i usually cqnt tell if a piece "functions"corrsctly or not as long as my vapor goes through water and it bubbles but this is crazy..
@subway13029 i hope they take care of that for you. I'm still interested in that piece but I'm waiting to see what happens with yours.

I admit to owning a couple of Steven's pieces, one being the Devastator copy, the other being a Mobius Matrix copy. I'll probably get the HT above. I also have 3 HT's that I bought directly from VXL. I would never recommend someone buy Chinese glass as a replacement for US glass, but as an addition it's not too bad. If the real Devastator were still available I likely would have got it (though it may have taken a bit longer to do it due to price!) I got the Matrix knockoff to try the Chinese glass and it was recommended. I've found it to be pretty meh (though I'll try it again with my new carb.) I said above that my reason for getting a cheapo HT from Steven will be for my nasty friends. Just because I'll hang out with someone doesn't mean I need to swap spit with them. And you're not using my good stuff!

hmm...I thought CCG had one but I'm not seeing it now... I have a cmeng 14mm with a dropdown and that accommodates my d-nail pretty well...but I too wouldn't mind an 18mm egg...

Same vendor with the ftk has a wormhole copy which looks kinda cool but I wish were clear not red and white. They listed it as wromhole if anyone wants to search for it.
@NorthernHuskie I believe that sunshinestore has an 18mm female egg. It's a bit bigger/pricier than most of the others if I am not mistaken. With regards to Stevens ftk it will probably be a while since they haven't posted an adequate version on YouTube (last video looked more like a ball section than a fab section) and usually after that happens there's still usually some wait time.
