OK so I want to announce that I finally received my refund from Steven for the barrel to funnel.

I am so fucking sick of this dude and glad that I don't ever have to deal with his excuse making ass again. HE SEEMS SHADY AS FUCK

As another member already stated he didn't even stop selling that piece when he admitted it was a bad batch and he would make a new one. I hope that those of you who opted for the replacement receive a much better quality piece but I wouldn't count on it. He might just wrap up a broken pipe and send it to you, and not even include the broken pieces. It wouldn't be the first time he did that.

I would like to add that I sent a very polite message to Steven thanking him for making things right and promising to tell everyone on the forum. Told him that if he took care of us we would bring him lots of business. I also told him that I know many popular designs in America and asked if I provided him specific designs if he could produce those.

His response sounded like he did not give a shit about us. He said that he has American customers that buy 1000 pieces in a single order.

Got my order of 2 x gb 187 in the mail this morn. I dont get the hype for this piece. While the perc sure is nice, the mouthpiece angle is very frustrating. Not enough room to put any of my vapes on it without them being right in my face, could probably use it for dabbing with a long dropdown. The one i have doesnt make it over the lip of the can so it doesnt fit. I now see why there is so much anticipation for a sidecar version. I originally bought the second one to give as a xmas gift but think i'll be giving both away and wait for/if a sidecar version ever comes. c'mon yinming!

We on this thread look for functional pieces (different percs) with reasonable build quality. If you're looking for fancy, look somewhere else. Many of the pieces we discuss are usually of higher quality than what you typically think of as "Chinese glass" - that's not to say there won't be imperfections. But you will find the glass overall to be higher quality for the price than you'd expect. (I sure as hell was surprised for the price!)

The stuff we find on here isn't about looks as much as it is about function and quality. Different percs provide different tastes. Use cheap glass as a way to test different types of showerheads and percs to see what fits you best. So when you do decide you want to buy a 'sophisticated and fancy' piece, you know EXACTLY what you want.

That said, i have this piece coming on Friday. I bought it specifically because my wife is a big fan of cobalt blue glass (and because I really like sidecar rigs)

The low price of this glass means you can play with different designs and rotate them as desired (all my glass get's a workout at least once a month). Don't be afraid to throw $30 away for the D020 - she might not be a looker, but damn she tastes fine!

The D020-W is my favorite currently, but god I hate her serpentine mouthpiece. I hope this new D020--2-w satisfies my GAS addition for a while, my wife is about to get angry with all these new shipments arriving weekly!

The first disk is a honeycomb perc that makes bubbles and the second one is a cyclone perc/splash guard that spins the water and air around.

I have the curved tube mouthpiece version of this from Kathy. It's my favorite little honeycomb style piece. I fill it to a level between the two percolators and a nice water/air mixture travels through the tornado disc for what is at least an amusing swirling effect.

My favorite from dhgate so far. I would actually like a completely vertical mouthpiece version since I've recently discovered the joy of cleaning rugged simple inexpensive pieces in the dishwasher.

When/if I ever find the perfect rig that cleans up perfectly in the dishwasher, in going to buy a small wholesale lot of them and treat them like I do pint glasses.

If anybody has suggestions for good and rugged dhgate pieces that will drain well when inverted in the dishwasher, I'd love some ideas because I haven't heard of anyone else purchasing based on ease of use in the dishwasher. I do know that I've got about 13 vertical inches to work with unless I remove the top rack which would not be practical. Right now I have a 12 inch bong with one honeycomb perc in the bottom wider chamber below the mouthpiece. Sort of a bigger brother to the honeycomb/tornado combo.

The bottom perc is a honeycomb, the top perc is a tornado perc, but that type of perc is really better used a splash guard

just received my recycler from Kathy

nicely packaged. stiff box with multiple sheets of bubble wrap, fit snugly into box (i think leaving extra room in the box is what killed my recycler from CCG)

first glance at it....not bad. couple of bubbles in bottom weld. base and can feel fairly thick/sturdy. came with 2 flower bowls. Kathy gets a thumbs up from me on the packaging and time it took to receive it (i placed the order on 10/25)

He's taking forever on this new batch. I'm contemplating filing a dispute now, the only reason I haven't already is because mine still 'works' despite the the crack in the percs.
Apparently he is making 1000 pieces for the new batch and is currently almost half way done. I think it's very likely that we won't be seeing replacements until December (if were not just being scammed altogether).

I just got my barrel to funnel from Kathy and I love it. It is really nice quality. The mouthpiece tube is thicker than on the double barrel I have from BTOC. It also has a little smoother pull and recycles like it should so I'm very happy. Will do a review soon.

Slow slow slow... 26 days to get here but it is actually decent quality and exactly like the picture. Nice 2 hole perc, clean welds. A little thinner than 5mm, maybe 4mm for the can and 3.5mm for the mouthpiece. Similar body and mouthpiece thickness to the Sunshinestore inline to donut rig.

I'm lucky I actually got what I ordered from CCG. Rest assured I will never order anything from them again though. They do not deserve FCs business since they have screwed over so many people here.

I used my barrel to funnel a handful of times before I destroyed it and I didn't really like the function. It has more drag than I like and not a lot of flavor. I think the holes in the perc might have been too small.

So the four arm tree perc from my busted bong wasnt able to be salvaged into a hydrotube, so I think I'm going to pick up a small tree perc bubbler instead for some variety from my inline honeycomb form Kathy. The question is which one from which of the big three?!

I was thinking today that if we could collect a data set consisting of buyer location, breakage/complaint frequency, and dates for purchase,shipping,delivery,etc, then someone could run some simple statistical analysis to compare various sellers. I'm not the mathematician or spreadsheet wizard to do this, but I know it would be simple for someone that is. I would report my data to a Google doc if someone took on the project.

Imagine being able to know that a seller will deliver to your country within 10 days 75% of the time and 14 days 92% of the time with a 6% chance of breakage in shipping.

Edit: to answer your question, I've made 9 orders with Kathy and SunshineStore. Kathy had been faster by about a week to the west coast of the USA for me, with most things arriving in less than 2 weeks and usually more like 9 or 10 days.

He claims that he anneals the entire lot at one time, so the finished ones aren't technically done yet. Could be true, could be a lie. I guess time will tell.

I will say here that sunshine store seems to be number one. They are our original cheep bubbler source with the original D020. I also don't think I have ever heard of an unsatisfied customer from them. If there is ever any problems they are very quick to fix things and treat us with the upmost respect.

Tired for second place is Kathy and yingmin. They have both been used a bunch without much issues. In the past people apparently had problems with Kathy but she is awesome now.

I would give third place to Alina, BTOC jewelry, and and a couple other sellers that are newer but have sent us good glass. Please name any to add to this post.

SELLERS TO AVOID: Clean clear glass and Steven. Read back through the thread and you will see why
