Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Menz don't forget that the vp is bigger then the new clone just as it the old clone is bigger then the one we got. I will try to take pics today and then show the measurements if you still want me to do it. This way you can actually understand my female brain.

what do you think the measurement is from the top of the can where the bowl would go in (or in your case the tube) to whaere the top of the mouth piece would be if it was directly above the can??
I took a photo to try and convey the measurement you're looking for, hope it helps.

The top of the battery is right up against the mouthpiece.

That is a good photo. I think now with my measurements of the can and the insert part you should be all good.

If someone can, cause I am curious can you please put your glass collection next to each other stating what each piece is so us newbies have an idea of size. I used to think these pieces were big like my old school bong but they don't seem to be from what I got which is a 7" to mouth piece but really only 3 and change in reality. If you put the infamous in the pic please say if it is the new smaller one or the old bigger one.

BTW my little cutie bubbler has a bubble and I think a scratch in the glass under the mouth piece right where my lip hits it how annoying. Why couldn't it be somewhere else ugh.

Actually, the little Infamous, is my oldest piece of glass, that hasn't broken, or been given away. Most, broke.
Its not the thickest glass, but because of its size and design, its a pretty tough sucker. Any glass that survives me, is pretty tough.

The infamous is a sold piece for 40$ and looks a lot more stable than anything else on that website. Buying a rig for 70-90$ cause of shipping from there is an utter waste those joints look like they'll snap the 2nd you lay a finger on them. As an avid glass lover I can't stand to see over 50$ spent on china

So the infamous is only gonna last 2 months before I need a replacement?:ugh:

How long did you actually have the infamous?

Idk my bubs pretty solid I think I could go awhile before i needed a new one. My only issue is my solo, that will Deff crack the glass if left in the joint alone so I have to be careful w it. I was talking about basically everything (mainly rigs) else on that site bc it is a wholesale/china glass site.

Evolver HydraTree & RX Industries 12inch tube.
Along with the Vapexhale Cloud & an Underdog.
The Infamous looks to be the smallest, even with the oil dome.
(and this is the 2nd, smaller Infamous)

What I find very strange is that the perc is completely different from the website/BDV's. First noticed in some of the pictures but now that I have it in front of me it is clear as day. Basically a real showerhead perc now.

A little more info on the little guy. I noticed the six diffusion slits were a little uneven; I looked closer and realized that they get smaller as they get further away from the mouthpiece. I watched in the mirror while pulling on it and found that the frontmost slit doesn't really fire if the bub is resting flat, but with a slight tilt toward yourself, something like 15º-20º, you can get all six slits to fire. Tilt more than that and the one or two slits closest to you won't fire. Not a huge difference, but there you go.

Thanks for the pic. I will say the pictures of bubblers are extremely deceiving. I would love to see say a mobius, a lev lattice and the infamous. The lev showerhead if anyhow has it in that comparison would be a bonus. BDV are you listening. All this time I thought these things were huge but they are tiny. I know the infamous is more then likely the smallest but it doesn't see like the others are big either.

Yes, its obvious there have been significant design changes. Who knows... maybe VB's legal department got all over their asses? Mine is an exact, downscale copy of the Hydrator. Cuts... everything. I know they're not very fond of it. But, it gets them sales. I've talked people into getting the VB over the No Name... so I know it gets sales. If this one ever breaks, I'll probably buy the VB version. Love the build quality of my Mini Hydrator and they deserve the sale to.

The only difference, as noted... mine is like 3/4 scale.

The new ones, they've made even smaller and a completely redesign fixed downstem. I like the looks of the new one, prefer the size of the old one... function, is probably the same, with a piece that size. Still an excellent buy, if the build quality is the same.

Call it, The Infamous $40 Vapor Brothers Hydrator No Name Knock-off v2.0 rev1a. :D

Still have it, still use it. I dunno. Had it about a year now. Maybe little more, little less? Its just survived @#$%, all the other stuff I've bought in that time frame didn't. Yeah, I know there's "better deals", out there... but I can honestly say, I've gotten way more than $40 value out of this thing. Its been with me, thru every vape (except the VG) and performed well, with each piece. Nothing spectacular... but a nice solid little bubbler. I'd rather have the real deal VB, but I have a mini... so its a wash.

Because of the semi-sharp bends in the mouthpiece, I can put a relatively high water level, rip it as hard as I can (with the drag of a vape/adapter) and not get a drop on my lips.

Certainly exceeding my expectations
This is a big win!

Yep, one of the great things about the bubb. Don't think I've ever tasted water with it.

Size Comparison. The No Name, front left.

When I was still in High School I had a custom GonG worked bubbler made by a seller on Etsy. In the similar out-of-context picture he sent, I was expecting a 1.5ft tall monster.

It came and it was like 8 inches
Luckily you tend to only make that mistake once.

Sadly it's long gone. On etsy you can name your price for the custom piece, so @ $50 this was definitely a cheap, high quality bub. That yellow was so golden in person..

Fabulous thanks that helps a lot. Can you put from left to right which bubblers and or showerheads they are if you don't mind. I obvious recognize the lattice that can't be missed lol.

With the pipes website they don't tell you the size of the stuff so you don't know. When sites put the size do they mean from the bottom to the top of the mouth piece? Like lev said the new showerhead is 12" is that the body or the whole thing.

That should mean just the vertical height top to bottom.

The new lev showerhead definitely has a lot more volume than the infamous. Just looking at the mouthpiece you can see its pretty fat while this mouthpiece is like a skinny straw. Also means it will have more free-flowing airflow ;)

The IFD VBH NNK 2.01a, got it.

So the old model had a removable downstem? Hard to tell from the pictures.

The Cera is gonna make this thing look even tinier, hah…

Haze I just wanted to know for my brains sake. I am happy with the infamous but wanted things put in perspective. Just like they have the line up of vapes which at this point needs to be extended to included some of the new ones they have missed. It is good to have a size height and width perspective so when you are buying something new you can know if you feel comfortable with that size. As far as water stuff goes I think they should be a circumference cause I believe from what you all say that will help you make a more informed decision.

Edit: Nopart what is the IFD stand for I got the rest.

Infamous Forty Dollar :)

You could shorten it, even. The Infamous No-name Knock-off, v2 in this case. Ink2

I was reading and I see RezBlock is pretty recommended for avoiding that buildup, after a little more research I think I will buy this if it truly is natrual.

The only thing Im thinking is if I should get some PBW, do you think it is worth it over ISO?

I'm still pretty ignorant when it comes to the collecting resin thing. Why would it be safe from vaping but not from combustion? It looks the same.
I don't know much about the PBW or Resin Block, I admittedly haven't done my research on either. I see a few on here use it though. I wonder how they feel about accidental splash-back with that stuff in their bubs? As I said I prefer ISO so I can evap and reclaim, not sure if this is possible with the PBW or res block. Simple answer: The reclaim collected from vaping is pure(just oils that have collected on glass), reclaim from combusting has toxins associated with combustion, which to me is gross.

Made a Video tonight with the VB Hydrator and my DBV. not HQ, Sorry!

No, they just redesigned it. The old one is straight vertical, rounded at the bottom. The new ones are bubbled out at the bottom (for the new cut pattern and physical design change, I'm assuming)
