I meant that inflation in the US will drive the higher prices. The Chinese have a hotter economy, more to work with to absorb rising costs. I don't think its greed as much as prices rising. Just by monitoring transportation costs, isn't a bad way to gauge what's going on globally, I've found.

I'll have to learn Mandarin anyway, to win Kathy's affections.

My D020-2-W showed up today. Workmanship is top notch near as I can tell. Its soaking now preparing for lots of use tonight.

The blue accents really looks good and try as I might, I couldnt pull water up the mouthpiece so thats a huge plus.

Should be a dab kind of night....



I agree.. prices are inching up but it may only be temporary.. if they get too aggressive with it, people will just stop buying.

The prices of the Chinese Glass fluctuates from time to time. Buy as low as you can to somewhat keep prices low for us. However 10 years from now as their economy improves they will be less competitive.

Stocks are climbing and economies are shifting.

Right now we are in a cycle of economical uncertainty.
We can not predict the future.

Since most of the Chinese sellers don't do shipping discounts for multiple items I like to order them one at a time so that a string of "surprises" arrives over several days or weeks. No matter what they say they don't always arrive in the order I placed them.

in the pics the blue looks a little sloppy but its hard to tell.

I had the clear one and it was very clean and nicely made. I thought that the blue looked pretty straight in the pictures but only time will tell. Probably a week or so...

As with all Chinese glass, you can NEVER trust the pictures. That's just one example, from a box containing thousands of the same piece. Only use those pictures as references on the design. Your quality may be better or worse than that in the picture, it all depends on the luck of the draw.

Or if you want to increase your odds of a good piece, you buy 2 or 3 of the same piece every time and sell the the extras (I give @BoogerMan full credit for that idea - if I could easily offload my piece, I would do the same)

I am planning on buying a blue one myself.... ah hell - it's going to get really popular and sell out if I wait (that's my justification). @Sinclue good idea - I was planning on ordering several pieces at the same time, but you're damn right, shipping is the same either way, might as well order them one at a time!

Talked myself into it, I can handle $36 before next payday. Looks like you guys convinced me to buy the D020--2-W!

I went to my local smoke shop and bought a few adapters I really don't need!
During the day I try to keep it basic.
However before bed I get 15th century!
I had too much to do this morning however tomorrow I have a setup for the BENDER that will make anybodies head spin like a 70's horror movie!

ALT does have good quality. And they are on the pricey side. But their 'beaker logo' line of connectors and concentrate tools are top notch and have lasted me years, taking many tumbles and not cracked a one yet.

Their diveted quartz nails have this crazy thing where they just don't break off/snap off. Never lost one. I figured they put some kind of magic spell on them for indestructability.

They run sales often enough that I keep them bookmarked.

I got one today. Mine is very nice. My only complaint is my TI nail doesnt sit all the way down on the joint but it should be okay.

Depends on what you're vaping, and what works for you. I find different types of percs have a different taste. I tell everyone - start with the cheap glass we have on this thread - and find what YOU like.

Once I know what I like, i'll take all the $$ i'm saving on vaporizing and buy myself a nice piece. But I'm still experimenting with cheap glass to see what I like. Last week I picked up an ash-catcher with more diffusion than any other piece in my collection - removed so much flavor I thought my vape was broken!

In answer to your question about the honeycomb perc, no I do not believe it's too much filtration. But again, it depends on your personal preference. I have several different percs in my collection, I'm rotating them out every few weeks to see what I like.

With GIRL SCOUT COOKIES this was not bad at all. However the D020 or D022 (my add) are very effective!
