Cheap High Quality Bubbler

There must be a lot of physics behind getting a decent vortex, because so few recyclers seem to get it right. Do folks like Kathy and Sunshine have direct control over their blowers, or is it all outsourced on top of outsourced? It seems like if someone could slip the PTB a function vid and some pics of a recycler that actually vortexes.... well, many of the dhgate vendors seem very into the imitation being flattery thing... they just need the right source material to copy.

If I hit my CGD Incycler hard enough and without a GonG I can actually see single drops spiraling upward the mouthpiece.

both of my kathy recyclers vortex just fine, it's just a tiny vortex bulb you can see it clearly in these vids... the 14mm is noticeably better than the 10mm (first vid)

just checked my tracking and the side car HC/turbine is out for delivery!

Well while I sit here trying to wait patiently for my Kathy recyclers I realized that I should have added a 14mm drop down but im really not into waiting weeks for it again. Anyone know of a good American site for cheap drop downs? I've called all my lhs and they think im crazy and have never heard of such a thing lol

I am new to FC (although I read quite a lot already) I am a joint smoker and I've decided to pick up the E-nano, I've never tried a bubbler, but would like to, what is a good entry-level bubbler (Money is not that much an issue, but I do not want to spend too much)?

Also keeps the heat away from the rig itself if you are worried about that sort of thing. Also...looks cool.

Got the HC/turbine sidecar ... When I saw the package...I thought for sure I was going to be opening a broken piece of glass . The box looked like an elephant had stepped on it, and was pretty smashed up, but to my surprise the glass still made it through in one piece!! whew! Double bubble wrap saved the day.

I like it, it's small like the D020, heavily diffuses when not restricted, and the top disk offers some turbine action. The downstem is pretty close to the body, but the 18/14 female adapter I use raises the profile enough that the lotus will have clearance. Over all pretty happy with it, looks pretty well made. It's the first blue glass accent they have sent me. All others have been clear or green. Here are some pics and vid...

I thought the same with mine when it arrived. The box looked too narrow for the sidecar mouthpiece and my box was smashed round.

I can fill mine with too much water and hit it hard and don't get any. The direction of the turbine splashes away from the mouthpiece which I believe helps.

Today I got the GB 221 from Yingmin5. It arrived packed in bubble wrap only, maybe 7 layers? 9 days from China. So far so good. Got it unpacked, the top of the dome is uneven, with a chip on the bottom. The nail is only partially formed.

Don't care about the nail, but I might use the dome. I messaged him, using the "Dear friend" language that they like. I'm sure he'll replace it, but......the one I got has the MP angled more vertical than the pic, so it puts a nail right in front of one's nose.

The glass seems thick, the construction is good, no bubbles or obvious flaws. With the water just above the perc, it purrs nicely, I like the draw. However, even with a nail in place, a moderate draw results in a little bit of spray on the lips. Overall, not for me, I already passed it on.

water videos tests are good , but why leave the bowl/slide/nail off?
i like to see videos of how they hit when the bowl/slide/nail is on the glass, just like if you were use the glass
if i leave my bowl/slide/nail off it does not hit the same way as if you leave the bowl/slide/nail on

I do like the size and function of this sidecar I just got. It is a good distance from the face, and made with thick glass, 18mm joint. Feels pretty solid and works well with the lotus + adapter. I imagine even just using a bit of silicone to connect the lotus to the male joint would work just fine with this one too, but the adapter I have is working. I'm getting all jittery and excited about the newcomers glass blowing meet up tonight!! It's a potluck too! Should be fun. I'll take my camera... who knows, maybe I'll get to melt some glass.

No worries, hopefully he new owner will get some use from it. I really like the Kathy recycler - I don't care if it vortexes - it keeps the water out of my mouth I think the babycake will be fine, @BoogerMan loves his. That glassblowing class sounds really fun.

I am glad someone else on here finally has this piece in their hands and can talk about how awesome it is. So far it is my favorite cheap glass flower vape piece. It keeps the vape a good distance from my face and I can enjoy watching the show. I am using it with my E-nano and 18mm female gong from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd.

I also thought that they probably broke it in shipping but it was safely wrapped in a shit load of bubble tape. Here is the picture I took before I opened it

I feel like it looked even more smashed in person.

It keeps the vape a good distance from my face and I can enjoy watching the show. I am using it with my E-nano and 18mm female gong from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd.

Wow, that box looks great compared to the one I just got. It laterally looked flattened, sat on or stomped with a giant foot. Now I wish I had snapped a pic before tearing it open.
