I'll ask my doctor next time I see him, but do you think it would have any negative interaction with a daily anti-anxiety pill? I'm guessing that it wouldn't seeing that I vape everyday with no interaction, but I do know that you're supposed to adjust anti-anxiety/depressant dosage when you take some cold medicines, magnesium, or the nicotine patch.
So what is the consensus? Should we try the tincture or the gum first? My wife began having grand mal seizures two and a half years ago. We have been to many of the best hospitals in the north east and still have no idea what is going on.
She now has grand mal seizures at least once per week and she has low level seizures every day and night. After doing a sleep study, it appears that at least half the time it looks like she is sleeping, she is actually having small seizures, and in turn not getting any rest at all.
She also has issues with anxiety, panic attacks, sleepwalking/living, etc. We have noticed that high CBD flowers do help (much more than any of the anti-epileptic drugs she is on), and after reading this thread, we would like to try one of these products but probably can't afford both at the same time. Any suggestions on which to try first?
Geez, you got me really excited about this stuff. I had been contemplating getting my MMJ card, I even have an appt on Monday, but you can't get a concealed carry permit if you have one. I ordered some tincture last night and selected the compassionate care option to get the 2oz. bottle for $120. But then I was so excited to try it I didn't want to wait 8-10 for shipping so I went to a local dispensary to buy some, but they can't sell anything unless you have a card. I emailed dixie to ask if I could pick it up since I'm very close to Denver, but they don't allow it. I'm just hoping the sent it today because it should only take a day to ship.
I'll let you know what I think when I get it. I've never had any marijuana before so hopefully I can provide a unique perspective on it. My sister is also interested. If she ever tries it I'll post what she thinks about it too.
I'm not looking for a high I'm looking for the anxiolytic effect. You should feel NO mental changes in the sense that you will NOT get any kind of high from this product. It SHOULD seem like it is "not working" but looking back I haven't taken a single anxiety medication since I started chewing the CBD gum.
