Aww. When did the B2 get discontinued? What's up with no Flowerpots that can dab? I've been sending people to the Cannabis Hardware site for years, talking about how awesome that is because it does everything.

Roughly a year ago. They have dabbing options for the zenleaf.

That thing doesn't look like it can TWAX. I remember when that was the huge selling point of the Flowerpot and now none of them do it.
poeple have gotten over twax... flower in general seem to be on the downtrend... all my friend stopped vaping flower, and only ever dab concentrates/diamonds... seems to be the trend here too...

Being able to twax was one of the reasons the VROD was my first vape purchase, and I'm 99.9999999~% a flower user. Everyone's use is different.

Not the way a b2 could. Originally all you mentioned was dabbing. The zenleaf has options for that.

I’ve noticed a trend amongst my vaporist nerd friends in the time since the b2 came out. Many of them have gotten way more into dabs and dabbing devices like the Dab Ready or the Puffco stuff. These friends prefer heating their dabs and their flower separately, partly because the dabs have got more fancy and more flavourful. They want to hit them at the perfect temp.

I kind of assumed that CH discontinuing their twax setups because they’re seeing similar trends in their customer base.

Me, I’m a flower boi

Consider me in that group as well. Even though I have a CH B2 I only tried the twax thing once. I didn't like it, as it ruined the taste of my dab. I prefer to have separate setups. I like having a ball vape for flower and I have a puffco peak pro and a small little rig and banger with spinner carb cap that I use with a dab ready heat stand for concentrates. I agree with Emily in assuming the reason that CH discontinued the B2. Honestly though I think that it's good for business's to keep updating their product lineup to keep things from getting too stale.

Flower is life. But having the option to kick things up a notch is pretty fun. Sure it's wasteful but most fun things are wasteful. Also, it's nice being able to kick the PID to 700F because the Peak's battery is dead. Kinda sad to see it go as a feature in my favorite device. Glad they are built like tanks. Been in since the Showerhead and resisted the VROD but upgraded to the B2.

I don't know where you're hanging but that's not the case here ;-{>====
Canada, but here, concentrate are relatively easy to find, and of very good quality... and i hang with old farts, they say flower is too harsh for the throat, and what not... Me, I'm a flower guy... always have been... i like the occasional dab, but 99% of my THC intake is flower... the flavor profile you get with a good quality flower is unmatched... even diamond with terp sauce dont beat the taste of a nice, well grown skunky strain...

I think Old head came out with something that lets you do it for zenleaf style ball vapes. Old Head Extraction Chamber Carb Cap is the name of it I believe, I couldn't find a direct link anywhere.

the beauty of it is that you can use with a regular banger / enail as well, so dab and flower temps can be set individually

I haven't tried it but it really looks like the ideal solution to me

Hey y’all!
I just received my B1 and coil and I went for the Auber Enail Controller. I plan to use this without water, just B1 into DIY bowl into traditional pipe. I’m a newbie with this setup, so I have a couple questions:

1) Burn Off required? Good out of the box? Recommended burn off?

2) Favorite temp for flavor? I’m less concerned about getting every last molecule of THC and more prioritizing the taste.

3) Any other advice for a newbie? My previous setup was the Prrl Neo into a DIY bowl.

Thanks for sharing your experience!!!

As far as temperature goes, anywhere from 590 to 630 for me depending on the strain and how much I want to cook it or temp step it. Hope this helps and would love to hear others opinions too. I use 3 mm Ruby balls with the machined screen for maximum resistance.

I'd say My overall average temp for the B2 for me under the conditions I listed is around 610.
