....Flowerpot/Showerhead hex-nail users: what pre-set/custom settings are you using?
...coming from a RDK-200 i recently got a HN-02... with my RDK-200 my temp would drop ~5-10°F during draw and then go back to set temp within seconds... with my HN-02 my temp will drop ~20°F during draw and takes a minute or more to get back to set temp... the only pre-set that my actual temp = set temp is the 'standard med' nail.

OK, after reading through the entire thread this past 2 weeks, I had to pull the trigger on the mega bundle...
I was a Liger beta tester and I'm 100% concentrates, but this thing just looks too cool. UPS status says it'll be here Friday, so redoing my vape station to accommodate flowers for the first time in at least 3-4 years.
Couple prep questions for you advanced users:
1. for those who preheat, do you literally just put the hot SH on the empty bowl before you load? For a few seconds? Minutes? How long?
2. for those who brush after each session, do you take the screen out and use a toothbrush? Leave it in and use a bristle brush? Brush your shoulders off and hit a dab, then do the Nae Nae?
3. Any of my SoCal homies have good spots to pick up flower in the OC/LA area? Please PM me with suggestions on spots!

2- I use a 2 brushes after every bowl to clean , one is a cheapo bristle type brush that comes with most portable vapes , the other is a storz and bickel brush , the one with the wood handle. I brush out after every session leaving my screen in, after a hit when the bowl is still warm as it helps to get everything out. Than every few sessions ill do a cleaning in some iso with a ultra sonic cleaner.

1. When I preheat I just put the head unit on for a 30-60 seconds
2. Just brush the shoulders off and go in for a dab. Naw not really Leave the screen in and brush with a bristle brush like @Justpassedu said.
3. Weedmaps is good for looking for shops. Insta is good for hooking up with local growers/processors!
If you’re into concentrates I recommend picking up the dnail wrap around head from NewVape and the SiC dish with carb cap from dnail

@NewVape420 - we are indeed many and varied and have a wide array of preferences.
My preference for the glass bowl is in that .05 - .15 load size. Personally, I prefer small load sizes as I can always reload (it is a desktop device, after all) and smaller load sizes gives me more precision to manage my session.
Also, I'm fine with 18 mm. Lots of my stuff is 14 mm but I do understand that with glass you will have to maintain a wall thickness much greater than with the Ti and that this would seem to put some limits on joint size.
I'm still enjoying my Ti FP parts and don't really feel a burning need for a glass bowl. But if you make one, I'm pretty sure I will buy it to try it. All good.
Oh, for the cap/no cap discussion....I run about 640-650 set point on my controller and cap ALWAYS. I definitely think the cap speeds up extraction and makes the vapor more dense. This suits me but others may well have uncapped as their vapor density/flavor preference may be different than mine. I'm all about fast and complete extraction.

Some words to the FlowerPot. The Auber coil doesn't fit perfectly but it seems to be OK overall. Sadly I could use my FlowerPot only twice up to now, nevertheless felt in love already. Put it on my Magic Flight Orbiter. Had no flowers left when customs came out with my Pot, but some great pollum. As I don't have a scale I can't say how much I put in exactly at my first session. Would say between 0.1 and 0.2 grams. Holy shit, great taste and the combination of this 3 great devices together with some great hash gave me a complete knock out.

As @pxl_jockey mentioned perhaps NV should stick to metal? Surely the Chinese can offer more variety, at a quicker rate to folks in this thread. Just seems like a time consuming process working with this thread and meeting NV's quality standards. Honestly once that Chinese bowl that is being made atm comes out my interest in an official will drop even more. The price of the official is going to hurt too. 
If I was NV i'd save myself the hassle. Let the Chinese handle this and focus on metal.

Anyone using just kief in the FP on the regular? What about straight hash?

I had to look this up as well, turns out I have an oz in the cupboard
I've ran a few g's through the FP and it extracts like a champ and tastes fantastic but makes a mess of your screen/glassware. Hemp fibre is a good solution here.

@NewVape420 Any word from Edwyn on the female post? The reason i asked for a male 18mm post for the adjustable bowls is that i would like to be able to have a male option to use the double woven ti screens. I am not a fan of the ti screens and prefer to only use the DW ti screens.
I agree with @Danksta on the glass bowl and dont even bother with it. too much work for such a little return. I have about 5-7 different types of glass bowls for the FP and i still use the NV bowls as each glass bowl has its own issues.
At times, i mess with hash in the showerhead only at 675F. I didnt like it as it was airy hits. Maybe now, since im at 777F ish, the hash may vape better.

Sorry if I'm not understanding...do you mean Female posts? The posts currently available for the 'Heads are 14mm, 18mm male.
The female post was discussed - but as it needs no adjustment, so we'll stick with the current female bowl - for now. A version for the 'Heads is on the radar, but towards the outer reaches for now...

I occasionally use some Kief in the fp , tried it straight a few times but it really clogs up the screens , this would most likely happen with any vape though so now i usually put a scoop on top of my flowers . Hash was to messy straight on a screen , some use a double screen sandwich method for this which i have not personally tried yet or the hemp, what i do is put my hash on a ss liquid pad and run it in the bowl at a higher temp , so far it has worked pretty well for me .

Joined the party about a couple of weeks ago, must say I'm pretty happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend it.
Just have a minor issue and some suggestions to email support about, but I'm confident it will be sorted in timely and appropriate fashion.
Like how practical and clean it is! Very solid too. Those Ti screens are amazing, got a few of them since I'm overseas and am glad I did.
Currently been using the SH over the WA, but both are good I find. Nothing else to add to all the good stuff that has been said already.
I have, with great success! Used the finest hand pressed gear I could find. It's very effective, no need for a second hit capped at 377°C.
...Only have a little tiny bit of pretty high grade pollen from a blim I was given, might have to give it a go tonight

I happen to love these for what its worth : ( Double Weave Ti ) https://www.newvape.com/titanium-screen-woven , not sure on fitment with all bowls but they fit the new shovel/pan head perfect and can be cut to size for anything. A simple cut with some scissors to fit any bowl is not to hard at all. Some use hemp fiber as a screen also. Oh and been using mine for awhile now with multiple cleanings and it still looks new and no frays at all .

Tried pliers and vice grip with no luck. Contacted @NewVape420 and it is not a common issue. Hopefully can get this resolved because this crushes all my desktopsI had to resort to using pliars nearly every time

This weekend gave me a new appreciation on the WA setup. I was doing my normal 0.1gr flower bowls at 740F uncapped, I did need to stir but these are 2-3 hit loads so it's no problem. Drop down to 580F for mini rosin dabs, then back up to 740F in between sessions. The halo is nearly spotless on the following session. I actually like the draw on the WA, it seems to work really well with the stereo matrix perc.
I'm gonna see if I can stick with this for the rest of the week, I want to get back into concentrates a little more for faster sessions and squishing tests
