I'll be brief as I'm getting a double whammy of the usual back pain and now a head cold coming on. Initial thoughts after taking delivery of my Showerhead Flowerpot Twax Bundle:

All parts and components were in the in the included case. While no harm was done most of the parts were free floating in the case around the glass piece, so dodged a bullet there. The packing was really good with tons of bubble wrap and shipped from 'Custom Instruments.' The pictures posted here and elsewhere do not do this setup justice. While not discrete in anyway, the quality is apparent. All components are well machined and have their place. As someone else posted I wish Edwyn would allow you to swap out the FlowerPot Stand & Debowler for the FlowerPot Tray Base & Lid. We have no children at home, but occasionally have nosey visitors and the base & lid combo looks just a hair more discrete.

As a total FP NFG I would caution other FP-NFGs to proceed cautiously. I attempted my first bowl with 0.05 g starting at 600. It's been a long time since I used a glass piece this large and gauging how much to fill the glass before clearing the pipe I found difficult. I also tried using the carb cap and that produced the largest cloud I think I've ever blown followed by three coughs. I note this as while they were substantial coughs, they did not hang with me as sometimes happens when I take too large a draw. Soon after I was ripped. Same herbs I've been using in my ArGo fuck yourself, VapCap Omni XL and others, but with those I did not get anywhere near the same result.

The FP had put me in my place with one bowl! Regardless I marched on for two more bringing my total to 0.15 g. I wanted to learn how to use the FP in one evening and hitting as efficiently as it does it is my humble opinion that is not possible.

I hope in the coming weeks to explore and get more accustomed to the FP, in the interim vape on! Respect! YaMon

This one has now become my go-to piece with the flowerpot (for now)

The little d-cycler I got, I didn't get on with as I couldn't get the draw quite right to toast the bowls properly in one for some reason. It was very chuggy, so I gave it away and went back to the FC186 dual matrix.

The new piece has better flavour than the FC-186 and I could swear I'm actually getting higher somehow lol

It's a bit small, but the smaller can means there's so much less air to clear (compared to the FC-186) before getting vapour so I don't have to think about it at all now.
Previously I would pull to clear the air, exhale through my nose and then continue inhaling again.
Now it's just one long pull

I'm still staying below 700 for my preference.
I like the fast milky vapour at higher temps, but I don't think my chest and throat feel the same.

I'm all about the smaller pieces. My favorite stands just at 6" total.

My only complaint with the smaller pieces is if you are going to throw concentrate in the dish...gets difficult to see where you are putting the dab lol. Aside from that, I love the small pieces for straight flower hits.

@Shooby thanks for the explanation! do you happen to know if the upgraded SS loading tool fits in that hole where the Pax loading tool goes?

Also, would you mind posting a pic of your base with the grindr sitting in it?

As for the pax loading tool threaded SS. The threaded end has a smaller OD compared to the OG pax loading tool. But the added weight to the threaded SS is nice. Its my main go to loader.

I kinda wish I went for the 12" version though just to stack up a bit more vapor in the can!
The 9" SOL is more of a direct inject rig, hits you different than the shotgun of vapor like I get from my beaker. The 12" had that straight faberge egg perc though that I didn't really want. That's why I'm kind of curious about their SG Peyote Pillar clone with the SOL perc.

Can't wait to hear what @Chicken #420 thinks of it!

I like using my beaker a lot for the SH, but it uses too much water, the removable downstem is annoying to clean separately, and it takes too long to clear.

I really like the SOL perc, nice mix of diffusion, not too much, not too little, easy to clean, never gets clogged.

How you liking your Leisure 14mm incycler ? been using mine every day since i got it , provides great flavor so far.

Loved it until it broke the night of this pic. I had the 30mm Liger in it with a GonG adapter and it tipped over and joint snapped off. I normally use a drop down with the Ligers and not a GonG adapter but the drop down was killing the lil chug. So i wanted to try without it and this is what happened.

But for a $200 incycler, this thing is great! I may get it fix but i was only able to get a quote from one guy, glassrepair805, who wanted $130. But at that price, i may as well get a new one. Then if im gonna get a new rig, I may look at a B.Wilson recycler as they seem very chuggy.

I dont use the incyclers with the flowerpots and use them only for my Ligers. I have been switching between the Brick stack and Baby Jesus each week. Baby Jesus is by far the best rig i have ever used for wax.

For my flowerpot, I use the Seed of Life, Sherlock Holmes w/ Laced perc but already know what my next flowerpot rig. This Leisure 18mm Ribcage, 10 arm perc is the smoothest rig i pulled. completely effortless and airy.

Ouch so sorry to hear this. Keep the search up as i am sure someone can repair that for around $60 or less. Check with @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd i have seen him repair something for a member that came out great. I'll keep a look out myself. The Leisure Ribcage does look nice , i did not think anything could get smoother than the lace perc.

Easy man, real glad to see you are enjoying your Flowerpot. I can so relate to what you say about the FC 186. It does take some prolongued inhalation, and can be vefy difficult to clear. I like to hold my vapor for a while. I can take a large and long hit (non-FP of course), with the FC UFO, and clear it far more easily than with the 186, and still manage to hold the hit for long enough most of the time.

The 186 takes a bit of tug of war to get going, and is perhaps a bit too large AND slightly too free flowing for the optimal Showerhead rig, IMO. I think the few inches shorter model Newvape sell may be a little better.

That said, the 186 does give a very smooth hit. I do like having otions for sure. The same experience with the new Elv8r and the 186/UFO. No way as open as the SH but very free still.

That sucks same thing happened to me day one playing around with my Showerhead. The worst part is i'm still waiting for my 20mm coil. I had to ship it back home too so it's gonna take even longer probably near next weekend till i finally get to use mine.

Hello everybody.ill keep this as short and simple as possible.i love what im seeing so far with the flowerpot.im getting one,no ifs no buts.i need to know more before i make a purchase as i live in england and wont be buying from the vapefiend(cant find any other distributers in england)so i obviously need to get the kit i need correct from the start.here are my questions

1.am i correct in thinking all versions are dual use so no matter what i pick i can do both flower,dabs and both at the same time if i want?

2.hiw do the bowl systems work exactly?do the bowls have interchangeable posts or do i need to buy 14mm amd 18mm bowls separately?im a little confused in this area because i dont know the difference between the pan and shivel head bowls and the flowerpot body with the handle.

3.i want the best dab experience but definitely want to be able to use it as my daily driver for flower as well so which set up is best?

4.could i purchase a good enail dabbing kit in england and buy flowerpot parts at a later date?if i can what would be a good kit to get or should i just get a full flowerpot kit in one go?

1.: Yes, but the Showerhead is optimized for Flowers and does also dabs, the Wraparound is optimized for concentrates and does also Flowers

2.: Pan and shovel head are the newest bowls, both have the same function and the difference is only cosmetic. They consist of two parts, so sticking in your glass is no problem like it can be with the older bowls. Personaly, i bought the older standard 14mm bowl and use adapters.

3.: look at 1, you have to decide how you weight flower vs. concentrates

Ok thanks for that.this is going to be a hard choice for me.i only plan on dabbing at bedtime,im ok vaping flowers i just fancy something extra for going to sleep as a double dose of flower just doesnt seem to do it.in that case maybe the showerhead is the way to go....when buying a kit from newvape are these shovelhead and panhead bowls included or is it the normal bowls that come with the kit and i would need to buy a shovel or panhead bowl on top of my kit?also with panhead and shovelhead do i need to buy posts or do they come the bowls?

i would say go for the Showerhead, but that is a personal decision. The difference or what the wraparound with quartz or sic dish does better is mainly taste, so the showerhead will put you to sleep just as good while perhaps tasting not as good as the wraparound - this does not mean it tastes bad, not long ago everybody dabbed of ti... and you can do convection dabs in the bowl...

for your Kit and if it is complete - you can see on the Newvape site what is included but i would strongly advise you to just contact them via Mail with your questions and tell them why it is so important to get it right with the first order.

Important: You need a 220/240 volt enail controller, not the us 120 volt model from Newvape!!!

Being in the UK and thinking about the different controller and potentional customs, perhaps think again about vapefiend....

One thing to consider here- the Showerhead has established a very firm reputation for significantly improvimg and enhancing the experience, effests, enjoyment, and pafticularly satisfaction from vaporizing flowers.

You will see in the thread the number of members who have been delightfully surprised by how they have gone from majority or total concentrates, to almost exclusively flower since getting the Showerhead.

It is said by many that the SH vapes flowers and extracts so well it is like concentrates.
And others are adamant that they actually prefer the full bodied flower hits in the SH to rosin pressed from the same herb, in virtually any setup.

So in relation to your own needs at bedtime for instance, you may find that flower is working better for you.
And you can still dab with the SH of course. I never tried the Wraparound, it looks and sounds excellent for what it offers. And I have never dabbed either.
But I do know that the Showerhead is a very special device and you surely could not be disapointed, I would want to predict delighted. But certainly a new experience of vaping and the plant itself, I can vouch for that.

Oh yes, there are options for PID controllers outside the kit. Bit not from the UK that I am aware of. You can order the Newvape approved UK model from dhgate, for $120 shipped (may or may not be customs on top, a fair chance of avoiding them).

Or there is the Auber controllers direct from them. Would be a bit more than the China option after you add a coil. Just see what your options are. Work it out,
-What is cheapest overall?
-What is practical?

Well said. I went from 100% concentrates to 90% flower, 10% concentrate. I haven't had a dab in days, soon to be a week and I'm not concerned over it. The FP turned up to 777 or 800 will give me heavier effects often than a dab would. Even at 700, one full bowl in the FP is usually enough to get me pretty medicated.

I still love dabs, but nothing beats full nug in the FP at various temps IMO.

I feel like I've only been getting dabs so my dabbing gear doesn't get ignored .

If you told me I would not be able to dab for the next 3 months, but I can keep the FP I would be fine with that.

Lastly, I can't preach enough about unprocessed terps. Full nug in the FP is TERPY AF

Danksta, while I 100% agree with everything you wrote (minus the temps, I need a lil lower as my lungs are not as healthy as they were) it's hard to deny that the flavor punch you get from concentrate is more potent than flowers. The closest I've got was a fine grind full bowl at high temps but the sacrifice was the majority of the bowls going ABV taste to finish extracting the meds. A nice dab of fire concentrate at low temps on SiC is pretty damn amazing!

Have you done full nug at 525, 585 and 700?

Dabs taste amazing (if they were processed right) I agree, but at these temps you get amazing flavor. At 525 you get flavors you won't from other temps.

If you factor in costs too, full nug flower is cheaper and will give you more terpy hits. A dab gives you one tasty rip. ONE!!!!!

Full nug I get atleast 2 before I have to break the bud up.

I'm honestly blown away how this vape makes me feel. Why put all that effort and work to process flower when the FP does it all for you and creates vapor you can inhale?

Just like BHO folks got threatened by the rosin craze I see people get nervous about a vape as efficient as the FP. The FP is making oil less and less relevant to a lot folks. Not just me.
