I've never had a screen fall out, double or single weave. I can use the same double weave for many months, never had a screen last so long before and hold up so well.
@NewVape710 Do you make these double weave screens in house?
The cross hole for these things works fine IMO and I like it better than wrench flats honestly. I don't like any possibility of damaging the metal, let alone when it's beautifully crafted titanium. I use a silicone-coated adjustable for the VROD head.
I think the cross hole is great because you can use anything in it. I use an old "poker" tool from an old VaporWarez box unit. It prevents people from over-torquing too, because you will usually start to bend the thing you are torquing with very quickly as it's thin.
I would say another approach would be a new silicone/wood handle, with some new design to allow more hand torque. It really doesn't need much to stay together, but you can't get enough power on the small silicone handle currently.
But - I am a heavy VROD concentrate user - and I have NEVER had an issue with the current carb cap/threads/tool. I just hand tighten it and it stays a good while. I'd vote cross hole there, though.
