I'm afraid I have zero experience or knowledge of coils or controllers. However I can tell you that you will not definitely have to pay Customs on your DHgate orders. Somehow I think the majority of the time this does not happen shipping to the UK. I don't believe @emmdeemo paid any Customs on his original unit from China (?), and I'm pretty sure he didn't pay any on this replacement.Thanks Alexis!
Very interesting item, but I suppose the dhgate seller will ship from china and i have to add import taxes, and vapefiend still have only expensive enails in their online catalogue.

there are several sellers that sells this same unit (shipping from germany) but only with a 16mm coil, do you think i can just buy a second adaptable 20mm coil?

I have ordered several glass pieces from DHgate before and never paid any customs. I can guarantee that if I am to own a Flowerpot and @VapeFiend.com does not come up with a decent option for a good price, my plan would be to get the DHgate one and expect no customs (fingers crossed!)
@emmdeemo man that sucks about your new box. Never mind the fools that put it together what about the dumbass that packed it to ship? It was their responsibility to say "no this is not good enough."
I guess you will just return it and wait to see if you can be lucky third time around? Or you could cancel the order completely and see what Vapefiend might come up with and use what you have for now. Decisions, decisions!
@dadan that second one you have linked will actually be more expensive than ordering the DHgate Newvape approved box and paying customs should you get stung. The vapecode model works out about £91 shipped to the UK, without any added taxes that is, and apart from @emmdeemo 's poor bit of luck with them so far, at least you would have the assurance of knowing that this model is compatible and maybe optimised for Flowerpot use.
Just something to keep in mind, do keep us posted on your developments and decisions please.

I was going to post similar feelings (maybe I did and forgot), but I've never used a debowler until the FP stand. Wasnt convinced I was going to use it much... but I fucking love it! Fits right in with my usage
@Alexis and @dadan No customs charges for anything from China with all the FP stuff so far.

LOVING .05g to .1g one hitters at 700 (no cap!). Think I have my airflow dialed in.... can get great intense flavour at 800. Tried 900...won't be going there again!

Wow that’s really hot, I thought 820 was way to hot. I seem to keep the showerhead around 675-685 with no carb cap for flower. I find I have to go down to 640 or so for double deckers otherwise I end up getting the flower black and taste suffers. Really it all depends on how long I leave the cap on for though. If I keep capping and removing the cap I can keep the load for scorching but I like leaving the cap on for double deckers.Just popped my debowler's cherry!

The 800’s is what I use to clean my coil , that is crazy hot . I’d definetly be scorching my flowers that high. My coil starts to glow red in those temp ranges .

Unfortunately, dear Alexis, things are different here in italy about shipping from china via DHL.
DHL has their own office at custom, with custom's representative working exclusively inside DHL. I never bought from DHgate, but yes i bought items from Aliexpress or others and I always had to pay import taxes from china using DHL (IVA+some other, total about 25%). Things are different when shipping is via China post.
Anyway, like you say, this item will cost less than the last one i posted, also paying import duties. I think I'll buy what you suggest me, I'll wait only few hours for some possible answers from that sellers on ebay i contacted.
I also hope @NewVape710 in future will consider customers outside US for all in one bundles

Yeah... I clean my coil at 950, the highest I've ever cranked up my controller.
Highest I've ever run with any head in actual vaping use is 808... which was too hot for my tastes!
Keep in mind that @biohacker did used to be a firefighter!

I've a couple of reclaim collectors, this TAG one has been the best so far with my set up, but its far from perfect. There are some very obvious issues with it.
Is this the vapedandconfused one you're referring too?
EDIT: Vapecode controller update... Already had a reply from the DHGate seller, a replacement for the replacement is being sent on Monday
Yea.. thats not the exact design I sent him but thats what he came up with. His skills have far increased since then so Im sure he can make you something even better,.
I miss that thing. I broke it about a year ago and havent looked into getting another one made.
I see people talking about the debowler. I started using mine a few weeks ago and its awesome! Just run it over the screen and everything looks great. Since its rounded on top, no real issues with it mucking up the screen as long as you dont use excessive force.

I actually just did a .05g bowl at 685 with the cap all the way through the hit, super slow......WOW..... i'm seriously taking back what I said about it!!! It's totally not temp dependent....I just received a perfectly brown abv bowl....perhaps it was my medium fine grind....I just went fine and wow cloud city!

I like this things. The Flowerpot that is. Very well made. Looks classy. All my components other than the 14mm body was machined perfect. The body had a little missed Burr where the ledge for the screen sits.
I love the material cert with each component with his stamped seal. Very professional. This is a near ISO certified ran shop!!! Very impressed.
As for playing with this toy. I am very satisfied. No regrets on my purchase a will be buying more from newvape. I have the Flowerpot with wrap around D-Nail sic. My first few rips with the FP was just flower only at 635F. My first thought was like wow, this taste just like a volcano but with out the bag garbage. I hated the bag. I had a volcano years ago. I ripped like a gram of flowers in the next 30 mins and was stupid heady high. Chinky eyes and all. (I'm Asian).
Once the Yankees lost last night. GO YANKEES! I was back at the FP but this time, wanted to try using the D-Nail sic dish with flower. So I loaded a bowl and ripped it. First impression was dam, I couldn't clear the rig. The dab was gone but I guess the flower was still vaping. However, all I taste was flower with no taste of shatter. Is this normal? My dabs are pretty decent sized and I reduced the flowers to just cover the screen. Basically enough for one hit.
I guess I was hoping for a mix of flavors and concentrates. And I doing anything wrong or is the flower just so much stronger in terms of flavor than concentrates?
Also, I was wondering how must of you do the double decker? Like I load the flower first. Then put the coil on the body to warm up the body and go straight to getting my dab on the dabber than dab. About 15 to 20 secs. Sometimes, I noticed the flower will be really dark like burned. Is this normal? Or am I too hot? 635 F ish. I was at 665 F but most of the ABV was really dark.

I went for the Dabinator which is German built. A set with a nail was Euro 299. I think if I was purchasing one now I would be tempted to simply get the recommended DHGate unit. I have now ordered a few cheap things at DHGate and its all arrived pretty quickly with low transport costs and no import duties.

But yes grind consistency is HUGE in this vape.....love the versatility.What's cleaning your coil? Like cleaning the nail by burning off residue?
