Are the differences between the V2 and CXL still big enough to make it worth buying?
I find the v2 to be closer to cxl than to the v1; which is kinda what they were shooting for I think. The smaller form factor of the v2 may be better for some, but I found on after market stems it hangs with the cxls in rotation. and is unnecessary if you already have a cxl
I hope they order more v1 caps because I love to use those on the dynas.

Thanks!
I have the V2 and am considering getting the CXL. Do the caps hold well on the Dynas?

c1 cap fits the vong and omni tips the best, halo is good but you might have to pinch the cap down a little. v2 caps don't fit anything .

I was able to get a few extra V1 caps for that same reason. I will say the V2 does deliver and Ive been reaching for that often. I do think it is an upgrade but I still have a soft spot for the V1.

Thanks for this idea. My Omni is colleting dust, because it's my least favorite one, while the V1 together with my Fusion is the preferred solution. I'll give it a shot.

Does anyone have experience with the V2 and Wand? Do you put it in from the back, hold it at an angle and turn it?

I have used the V2 a few times with the wand. My wand has the larger opening on the underside so I tend to use that end with all my TEDs as it's what I am used to. I usually insert it on auto mode so the cap notches are level with the red ring. I leave it in there for 8-10 blinks for first heat up, approximately 5 on reheats (depending on battery level and if inside/outside). I just tend to insert it level so it's an even distance from the edges. I have tried rotating but it makes no discernible difference to me so I generally don't bother. You get a surprising amount of vapor for a bowl and I find I am heating it 4-6 times to finish a bowl. It has replaced the Dynavap M as my everyday pocketable vape probably cos the heat up/cool down is faster and the bowl size is larger.

Hello everyone,
I just received the V2, and I can confirm that it doesn't work with YLL 2.0.
So, I'm considering buying a Wand. Do you have any recommendations for a silicone adapter: Dynavap, Tempest Quartz Adapter for Wand?
For use with the V1, V2, and also the XL.
Thanks for your replies.

The cxl fits the wand w/out an adapter, and the v2 works much better in the wand than the v1. I use the wand like a lighter though to start the draw 1/2 way through the heatup like a cigar.

I don't use any adapter. I use the V1, V2 and XL. With the V1 and XL I active heat with the wand, with the V2 I preheat only.

Recently the V2 in a dry pipe config has been the daily driver. But I've been loading it differently.

Finer grind, straw load with a decent tamp. Can really get the bowl to roll with thick vapor if you pack it just a bit.

I have timings down but with the wand the plates start to vibrate with the radio frequencies and heat when it's at the right temp.

I usually go past this sound for a second or two, and pay EXTRA attention to it with fresh batteries.

The V2 head with the increased iron really makes heating so fast with the wand. And it's lovely that it isn't big enough to move like the XL cap

Recently paired the V2 stem with the v1 head/cap and a vector single torch for on the go. I feel like I slept on this, only using the wand.

Now that I understand the temp range better having used the wand, it's super easy with a torch. With the v1 at least, I'm getting smoother and hotter vapor with a torch(I like that hot enough to be soothing but not so hot it's harsh vapor).

Those that have both an IH and good torches, how often do you use one or the other, and why? Info on any of the convector family is appreciated

Ive been using the V1 head on the CXL stem with camo mouthpiece.

Got my Convector v2 today and I'm having to play with the voltage and timing using an Inductor, so far getting great hits from it but one thing I can't figure out if I'm doing right is removing the cap. I can't seem to get the cap off without also removing the chamber with it almost every time. I feared it'd be too loose and fall off (I saw a few reports of this), but it actually seems a little snug. Is there a break in or somewhere I squeeze it or something to release easier? I can't do any kind of back to back with it because I can't get to the chamber until it's completed cooled.

Otherwise, love it!

ha, the new caps just aren't as a refined feel as the V1 or the og Titanium XL caps.. they cool super fast and can just take them off easily and secure first slip on.. the new ones hold heat longer for sure but not sure the trade offs from the og caps was worth it tbh

i like the v2 a lot too tho.. been using it just because it's easier and quicker then some of my other vapes.. grab and go (+torch)

had the same issue at first. i was putting the cap on too hard/too much force.. just slip it on lightly (no force) till it stops going then just a slight easy push on the top .5mm more.. the tips of the teeth shud be just touching the fattest part/line around the bowl.. then you can pinch it off quickly when still hot and put it teeth down on a surface that won't burn.. one quick motion

the perfect cap depth is a very tight range for "just right" tho.. just slightly not enuff and the wand can spin/lift the cap off, lol.. i get it to the "just right" depth 9 out of 10 times now, lol - not too tight where you pinch the whole bowl with the cap off (fuck fuck oww oww hot fingers) and not too loose so is just falls off when you tilt it ..

also don't lube the bowls o-rings and make sure they are dry so not as slippery and more grippy. you can change them maybe to the dynavap gray ones (little fatter) might hold the bowl on better/tighter (haven't tried this one yet)..

watching to see others tips on this as well.
