The Mouthpiece includes two sets of o-rings, a red set and a black set. The red o-rings are 8mm size for the Ceramo XL, Convector OG/V1/V2 and 3rd party stems.
The black o-rings are slightly larger and are for the Convector XL stem. They can also be used to create a tighter fit with the Ceramo XL stem but shouldn't be forced.
The Chamber O-rings(black 8mm) we offer are the same size as the red o-rings but they are stiffer and can create a more secure fit with the Mouthpiece paired with the Ceramo XL. We are going to start including these o-rings as well with the Mouthpiece as there can be slight variance in tolerance between the Mouthpiece and Ceramo XL Stem connection. If you have spare Chamber o-rings on hand you can try using them on the Mouthpiece to create a more secure fit.

I had a couple of really nice sessions with the Ceramo and the Wand last night. I've fine-tuned the routine now to 18 flashes instead of 17 for the first hit to get a more substantial start, and re-heats are still 11 flashes. The roast and the flavor are just sublime. Better tasting than any other cigar-style TED that I own.
Very happy now with this purchase but granted that I was lucky that the glass spiral/mouthpiece from my Vaphit worked to cool properly when using it natively. Without the spiral, it can still function as one of the tastiest WPAs that I own when used on a dry rig.

I've revised to about 8 seconds at about 26.5v with the corner of the lid on the Inductor's f-core and I'm more or less clearing it in one heating. I really enjoy this vape, too. I'm using it with the ceramic mouthpiece only. I feel like I'm still dialing it bit but the flavor's great and the heat's not bad.

It's been a month now with no resolution, and 2 weeks since my last email with no response. From my perspective it certainly doesn't feel like this is a top priority for you. It is taking longer and longer to get a response and the conversation is going nowhere.

I have been using my Ceramo XL with MP and glass balls more and it is overall very good.
Flavor is the best of the Convector range for me. I was expecting the balls to limit the airflow but it is still surprisingly open when filled 3/4 of the way. The cooling makes a big difference too compared to stock or even with TRWW pinner MP and condenser. I really love the flavor and the vapor seems smoother than the other convectors.
My issues are still there in terms of the cap not fitting well, the wand often pulling it off and I am not 100% confident in the MP connection to be throwing this in my bag or pocket to take out and about. But for at home it is definitely an enjoyable if not perfect experience.

Anyone have a Ceramo XL and a Bakx on hand. I am wondering if the Ceramo XL could fit in the Bakx in place of the included stock stem (think a cheaper Z-stem with Ceramo MP). After having researched the Bakx, it appears it is compatible with some Simrell and Dynavap bowls that accept 8mm mouthpieces. I figure I would ask and maybe someone with both vapes could check for me. Thanks.

It heats the cap, not the device. The cap will shed heat to the ceramic, however. The mouthpiece kit comes with some SS balls you can load under the bowl, and those will heat with the Inductor. I don't believe I've seen that anyone has tried it yet?
Probably not. It has strength closer to steel than glass; Zi dental crowns are tougher than steels crowns, apparently.
You will have to be more careful with this than an all metal unit. There are sporadic reports of it breaking or being damaged when dropped.
Mine broke but thats because it fell off the counter with a 4ft bong to drive it into the floor… i think even metal would have been bent to shit

The "Pay what you can" sale allowed me to order a Ceramo that I never otherwise would've even considered due to cost. I'm probably exactly who the promotion was aimed at.
I still wish I'd read this thread about the cap issues. If there's a way to inadvertently drop a hot cap on your ballsack, I'm going to be the one that does it.

Here's a video showing how to remove and assemble the Chamber Screen in the Ceramo XL device.
The Chamber Screens are held in place with friction by pressing against the inside of the Chamber. The Chamber Screens have to remain flat to stay in place. We need to be mindful when removing and putting the Screen into the Chamber to not bend the Screen.
Using a standard size pencil, place the eraser end into the Ceramo XL Stem and gently apply pressure to the Chamber Screen, pushing it outwards till it is free. Do not use small or pointy objects to push out the Chamber Screen, this could cause damage to the Chamber Screen or bend it.
Using the flat surface end of a pen or similar object, place the Chamber Screen on the flat surface upside down with the small feet pointing downwards. With the Ceramo XL Chamber pointing downwards, slowly push the Chamber Screen into place with even pressure.
The Chamber Screen in the Ceramo XL does not have to be removed to clean it. You can put the Ceramo XL stem with Chamber Screen assembled into ISO to soak and clean it.
This same assembly method is applicable to all Convector models.

Four days in and I need to ask for help.
I cannot get this thing dialled in using a wand. Their advice is 10-13 flashes on the first heat up, then 8-10 flashes on subsequent heat ups.
So how many heat ups is it meant to be? Is this just supposed to be a really unsatisfactory and excruciating process of 5-6 heat ups for one bowl? Cos I'm up to 18 flashes on first heat up for whispy vapor, 15 flashes on the second heat up for a decent hit that still does bugger all to extract your weed. Two more subsequent heat ups of 12 flashes for what feel like whispy clean up hits, and it's still barely a light brown.
Am I just approaching it wrong thinking I can extract it in one or two heat ups? Is the lack of thermal mass just a killer for how this vape operates?
I'd ask Camouflet, but after I got a sassy reply to an email the other day I'd rather see how I go here first. (No need to throw shade at people trying to understand some really obvious and prevalent safety risks.)

Traditionally for me it's been exceedingly hard for those vapes to ever win their way into my rotation... I might be 2 days away from giving up on it altogether.

Have you tried it with a torch? Just curious, as I don't have a wand but do find the Ceramo quite fast and easy to vape with a torch. Although the super capacitor is better if you want to do a full bowl single heatup.

How are you positioning the wand? The heat needs to be focused towards the cap. That was my error initially. I get a really big hit after 16 flashes.

I put Ceramo all the way in to the glass lip from the back of the wand, held like an electric lighter, after 6sec start to draw lightly like lighting a cigar, by 12 -14 seconds you should be chugging vapor. be sure to let go of the button so the magnetic field doesn't pull the hot cap off.
