@killick, if only "storyteller" was still a viable profession.

I guess I should have been born into a culture without written language, because, for a kinda sorta disabled dude MMJ patient like me, that could be a viable career.

The closest thing we have today is stand up comedy, but improv story telling should be a thing.

Oh, I didn't even mention that I consider the Burroughs typewriter to be haunted? I don't believe in ghosts and such, but this typewriter has an ability to visually express your moods, as it is out of adjustment somewhere and angry typing creates red letters or partially red letters.

But that's another story for another vaped morning

Waking up with a leftover stem of gooey growers wax and deciding on flowers and morning hot tea.

Not a great night... yesterday, well, yesterday ended up with a very stressful situation for me, and for hubby, and I am still shaky. He's recovering, too.

Right now, I'm not even sure I'm going to work. I'm trying to shake it off, we've had some talking, and I've had some medication... moving into medicated tea (Market Spice is nice!)...

I get medicated tea from my medicated granola bar lady... :)

And, @ChippyMalone that is a wonderful memory share! I am totally believing that the typewriter has a bit of sentience... not haunted, really, just been lovingly used for so many years, it has developed a bit of awareness itself.

@Enchantre I'm sorry to hear that life threw a curveball. Will keep you and family in my best thoughts today. Always remember :it's a bad day, but it's not a bad life.

Love the Market Spice tea. Talk about an awesome terpene supplement! I turned @Snappo onto the stuff. I've also been really enjoying Portland's Stash brand of Moroccan mint green tea. Blend of high quality gunpowder green tea, spearmint, peppermint, and lemongrass. Another great terpene tea with a different attitude that goes great with cannabis hot or cold.

This morning I surprise my wife by driving her to work because I knew that she was not going to have an awesome Monday. then I stopped by my community garden plots to harvest a whole bunch a fresh baby salad greens. The first real harvest of the season.

Don't know what assorted oils and waxes this bit of cotton had in it from last night, but it is a nice mid morning snack.

Hubby called me in sick... I was still weepy and stuck in the loo.

The medication in the Market Spice tea (these are infused... Green Goddess/Peace Meds) seems light and happy... nothing heavy.
I'm also toking sips off the Vapman with a thin ring of Green/Black Tar Hash... it will be so very sweet when the heating station arrives... anyway, the infused hash is doing a lovely job of calming me down.

Your salad is beautiful, Chippy... I'd be likely to just eat handsfuls as I gardened... little bit of dirt is exactly what my poor digestive system needs... I need a whole new "garden" of gut flora/fauna.
currently going through a protocol of re-establishing healthy bacteria levels, this will last for three months. Hubby and I are experiencing the initial "transistion" phase... little bit of upset and irregular trips to the loo.

I'm medicated enough to wax eloquent... wax! I should go dab... ;)

@Enchantre Hate thinking of my friend suffering so. Hang in there.

Any time we can get together during the gardening season, it's likely I'll be giving you garden produce. Next up will be peas, carrots, Beets, radishes for spring harvest stuff. Just don't be the friend who avoids me in August...

Lots of people don't realize that the same plot of earth can support multiple crops. I showed one lady my beets and radishes and carrots and lettuce and spinach, and she expressed concern that I might not have room for things like peppers and tomatoes later in the year. What she did not know is that by the time I put in more peppers and tomatoes, these leafy spring and winter root veggies will be done. As an educator, I enjoyed watching that little light bulb of revelation go off in her head.

And on the vaping front, I'm getting ready to try some gum that dried over night scraped from trimming scissors.

It was nice last night, but now it should be dry and perfect.

Seriously, though. I cannot have fiber. No carrots. Lettuce yes, young sweet peas, oh yes.. no carrots, no beets (sad face), ... but I can have zucchini! :)

I had a half-acre organic plot and a Troy Bilt rototiller. I may have more zucchini recipes than anyone else on the planet. ;)

*In minnesota, it is not unusual to return to your car, bearing groceries, only to find a cardboard box filled with huge zucchinis, some really ripe tomatoes, and a pile of radishes or green beans sitting in the back seat. No, there will not be a note. It's yours. Just run with it.

My mother in law cuts Zulus in 1/2 lengthwise, hollows the stuff from the centre, and fills that with a spicy Italian sausage mix. It gets baked like that and now I'm hungry. But I'm in bed and exhausted, so I'll dream of boxes of drive by zucchini and wish y'all a happy sleep....

Today has been an awesome day so far. I woke up at 3:00am, but we went to bed around 8:00, so that is a huge amount of sleep for me to get at once.

The reason I'm so happy is that I have now have my home silversmithing studio set up such that I can complete most projects from start to finish at home rather than having to work in the rental studio that's 30 miles away. I've been taking jewelry making and silversmithing classes for the past few months, and just now feel competent enough to start showing off my work.

As a guy dealing with chronic pain issues that prevent me from being able to hold a regularly scheduled job, being able to be productive at any hour of the day or night when I do feel good and able to work really does make me feel much better about myself. When I woke up sore and in pain, it didn't take long working with my tools to stretch my muscles. I'm not counting on this being a full time profession, but even as a hobby, it's a lot of fun and might be one that might be able to pay for itself eventually.

I've got a few more polishing steps to complete this morning, but here's my mother's day gift that I'll be sending off today.

The sunrise was incredible this morning here in Washington. Cool morning with a single drop of dew hanging from the tip of each fir and cedar needle, a tiny bit of wispy fog to add some depth to space, and that blazing day star setting the studio on fire. . . . . .or is that the E-Nano and the new silly sea turtle bong I bought for the shelf but absolutely love!

@Enchantre you always teach me something. I guess I just call any sort of waterpipe a bong no matter what. I do love the turtle, as it is the smallest thing I have with a female 18mm joint. Also the only fritted disc I have. I had to figure out the water level, because too much water and it is IMPOSSIBLE to draw through. But just the right amount makes for a very nice frothy foam that pulls easily.

And it's cheap DHgate glass, but make clear to the sellervyou do not want the "wasp" version that looks like a horse fly inside of it. Yuck. And I'm a beekeeper and still think Yuck.

I've had a lot of weird things happen over the past few days. Some good, some ugly, and some amazing!

Anyways, sitting in a doctors office in a different time zone than usual, vaped outta my tree, a couple of ativan for good measure. Just had a lovely sushi lunch, and waiting for LSpine RF Ablation, treatment número uno.

It took 4 years of treatments and CSpine is much better. Here's hoping lumbar responds 1/2 as well :)

PS. Last appt of the day, and they are 55/min late, do I'm vaping in their men's room. With my gp ;)

Hope that procedure goes well and recovery and results are to your liking.

I'm vaped on some sort of lemony kush as well as a "couchlock cookie" with 175mg THC.

Had a productive day in my metalworking studio, and am really looking forward to showing off my work around here really soon. A minor delay on my big project, as my instructor cannot help me until Friday, but the others have surprised me with how well they are turning out, and I can always use some patience practice.

The only bad news is that one of my favorite tea mugs has bit the dust.

Goodbye my dear friend. You say hello, but I say goodbye. :cry:

I'm loving my herbie <3 Vaped a random strain that tastes like blue berries and black berries with a dark chocolate finish. It made nice clouds and I think I might have vaped more than I needed. Oops!

On a side note, Does knowing the strain really matter that much to some? I don't really care as long as it's strong and tasty =)

As I really do need to have a good idea of the actual potency of my cannabis for pain relief without excessively increasing my tolerance, I tend to either want analytical test results or know the grower's reputation first hand. Luckly, that is all possible here in Washington if you are willing to seek it out.

I do know to avoid certain strains: anything "Tangie" tastes and smells like sour baby vomit to me.

But when every single dispensary in town has "Girl Scout Cookies", I have next to zero confidence that any of them are actually related to any of the others, much less the same exact thing. Often, a popular strain name is just a general description of a strain. For me, Girl Scout Cookies would be a sweetly fragrant bud with lime green coloration flecked with purple, as that is what I have bought and enjoyed by that name. But someone buying Girl Scout Cookies in Colorado is almost certainly not buying the same thing I'm buying in Washington.

Well, I'm off to vape and work in the studio a bit before bed. Still feel that couchlock cookie this afternoon.

I just like knowing the strain so NEXT TIME I can buy again if super -fantastic or try something new if less than outstanding.
Kinda fun to keep track of previous strains and when folks here post a review or pics of strain x, to see if you agree or go.... holy crap but that does have major trichomes in their big blowup picture, etc.

It's nice to know the strain :)

And when a grower you know grows a strain you like that comes back from the analytical testing lab with an outstanding report card. . . . . .now that's the stuff.:nod::nod::nod::leaf:

When I am really on top of my game, I spend time looking at recent test results for products at my favorite dispensaries. Buying from the jar right after testing is a good way to ensure that what you buy came from the same exact crop that went out to the lab.

I liked the picture thought I'd share.
I want to know the strain that I'm using. I've had my medical cert for a year. I use for medical and if something works for me, I want to know the name. If it is something that I didn't particularly like I won't spend my hard earned money on it next time.

For years I bought through the black market and never knew what I was using. It's so much better now.

I have some White Haze in the Nano tonight and feelin fine.

You guys make a good point, I miss that green crack I had a while back now. =(

It's a shame I burned it rather than vaping, it was so lemony!! and the high was wonderfully cerebral.

I'm enjoying what ever I have now though, black berry taste is great. Life is good.
