Just had the thought that the western wildfires have destroyed so much cannabis that the ding plants are sending pout - chemically and energetically - distress signals that's making every plant that hears it wasn't too reproduce.

Good point! These wild fires are Mother Nature's way of saying 'combustion sucks' even when its not all about MJ.

In keeping with the thread....I'm not vaped yet....I owe the thread one ;)

So I'm on bowl 4 in the MV, and decide that now is the absolute best time to try find the power cord for the EQ. I'm missing part of it, and I know it's here somewhere, just haven't found it since the move... but I digress... I found my passport! It's been missing for, umm, either a year, or just a few months, but it was last used over a year ago. And now we're only 20 km from the US border, so now I can go find some dispensaries once the smoke clears up from the big fire down thataways... thank goodness we have border control to keep us safe from it!

And thats not really the point, either. Around bowl 2 was when we found the baby rattlesnake cozied up under the lilac tree. And just at the start of bowl 4 I was out checking the fence, then came back up to the house, and then hear an entire herd of horses go walking along the fenceline I just checked... I hope they appreciate it's only to keep the dogs in, not to keep them out - thats what the electric fence is for...

Anyways, where was I? Oh, yeah - bowl 5 is going to be Headband. I may be some time...

Wildfires in WA/OR/CA... distressed cannabis plants sending out signals that trigger reproduction in every plant that senses it.

Or, it could be a response to smoke particles in the air?

More than likely, sudden high heat has a hand in it... we've had heatwaves that are rare this summer.

And, oh yeah, I'm vaked this am... camp no-sleep is a tough mutha, and I'm getting loopy. Still trying to determine if I have a brain cell available for my job.

Glad you enjoyed it! Some days these things just write themselves. I blame the frankenweed (the collection of a bunch of bits and bottoms of various strains, randomly stuck into a roasting tube and let go).

It's kinda started again, after a large glug of tincture into raspberry juice, and another load of Franken into the MV...

Bump? Bump.

Edit - and a tincture-filled Red Rose tea, plus 3 frozen tinc'd oatmeal cookies (great texture - try it :)

And yes, definitely bump...

I have been pressing rosin a lot lately, not a lot a lot but every time I pick up I squish some buds... Platinum Blue Dream at a few different temperatures to see how the terpene profile and effects changed at different steps (trying to get the best of both)... took a few too many "little taste test" dabs...
