Me too. They Probably decided to give the early birds a bit of a late gift.Just got a email for GFL... Partial refund? Sent them a message to see what's up? I didn't pay a ton for shipping so I don't understand maybe just a mistake...... Anyone else?

I remember @Grinders for Life saying they might adjust price for people who bought all three sizes. A bundle price, so to speak.
I also got a partial refund and bought all three sizes.

I bought the full set and just got a partial refund so was thinking the same but their bundle offer is only 15CAD cheaper and the refund was significantly more than that.
I can only assume GfL are being extra generous to the early birds maybe as a thank you or to make up for the delays caused by the anodizing.
Either way, I'm looking forward to my brilliant grinder and impressed by the brilliant customer service from @Grinders for Life

I also bought the full set and got the refund.
They did mention a possible credit later after they set up bundle pricing, or I thought I remember that being said....
It brought the cost to about $110 with shipping, not too shabby!
But still no shipping notification....

It's 100 CAD (75 USD) for the grinder with one grind plate of your choice (fine/medium/coarse).
Its not a cheap grinder, but I've seen pricier:

It's 100 CAD (75 USD) for the grinder with one grind plate of your choice (fine/medium/coarse).
Its not a cheap grinder, but I've seen pricier:

So now the refund price for one plate is around 65$.. not bad

The $100 CAD/$75 USD price was never for the bundle, but just the grinder with one plate of your choice.
I got a generous partial refund as well on my order. Like others, assuming it's GFL doing it as an apology for the anodizing delays.
Can't wait for the grinders to show up in my mailbox!

First of all, we want to say sorry for the delay in shipping. We ran into a few setbacks during production. The anodizer took a lot longer than we thought and screwed up a bunch of grinders, which was very upsetting to say the least. It really sucks when the parts are perfect going into the last step and then something goes sideways. We had to make a bunch of replacement grinders and parts before shipping them out.
The last thing we wanted to do is alienate you guys, because you all are the most important customers we'll ever have. We want to make things right, so we're giving discounts to all the early adopters. We will also be running a promotion where you can earn an even bigger discount or even get your grinder for free. All you need to do is write a review comparing your old favorite grinder to your new Brilliant Cut Grinder. We'll reveal more details soon.
Unfortunately, there were some issues with some of the grinders we sent out. All the grinders we sent out have perfect fit and function, but some of them have cosmetic defects due to the anodizer. We decided to ship them out because we felt that you had waited too long already. We hope you understand. We are giving different discounts based on the defects. These recent refunds also included the bundle pricing refund that we promised earlier.
The Emerald, Sky Blue, Onyx, Pink, and Silver grinders were good. We gave 25% off just for the delay and for being an early adopter.
The Sapphire grinders have a color matching issue. The bottom is slightly less saturated. We gave a 50% discount for these orders.
The Hematite grinders were dyed too dark. Otherwise, they’re pretty nice. We gave 50% off.
The Gold grinders have some slight anodizing defects. We gave 50% off.
All of the problems we faced will be corrected in the next batch.
If you got 25% off and participate in the promotion by reviewing the grinder and comparing it to your last grinder, we’ll give you an additional 25% off the original price. A total of 50% off.

Thanks so much for the update @Grinders for Life ! Your partial refunds due to time delays and marginal anodizing differences were a really nice thing to do for your customers. I know it makes me want to support you more in the future when I need a product you manufacture.

Thanks for the support Ramahs. Your grinder is on the way. All the other grinders destined for the original beta testers were shipped out as well.
The larger 2.7"(68.5mm) diameter 3-piece 7075 aluminium grinder is in the pipeline and so is a 2.2"(56mm) diameter 4-piece 7075 aluminium grinder. They both require a bit more work, but we'll start releasing pictures in the coming months. When we're ready, we'll send a few 2.7" diameter beta grinders out. That grinder is probably next.
