Larger spacing between teeths, the larger chamber is so big my scoop pushes the weed around more then actually scooping it up.
For me the large size has 0 benefits, it's not like imma grind like 1/8th but some ppl do. The smaller medium is more perfectly balanced imo

Is it possible GFL may move through orders more quickly now that its been about 7 weeks since 4/20? Or it won't make a difference? I ordered a month after 4/20 so im hoping the delays become shorter after fulfilling all the sale orders.

Damn, that makes sense, I just want new colors so was thinking, like, I need the big one too and ill take pretty colors instead of onyx (with gold and ruby plates extra) but that kind of bums me out XD

Don't get too bummed yet, I don't have to load an eighth to enjoy using the large grinder! I feel like I can load only a little more than my regular or even the same amount, and it is a bit more leisurely, don't have to stuff it full, I like the more space between the teeth, yes it has more teeth but there's a lot more space between them and it is really easy to keep them clean and load nugs in my experience! I still love the regular size as well, my hands are pretty medium, both are very comfortable, I'm sure people with larger hands do appreciate the large size quite a bit! You may love the large more or as much

I pack into the top side - reason ime top plate packing guarantees no cleaning needed between the ledges of the top/middle plates.
With the large, you can shove a .3+ nug in between the teeth and it can still fall out.
The large teeth design placement/orientation are different to the original. Had I known this I would not have gotten a large.

Yeah I would do that with other grinders sometimes, but with my BCG I am just careful to load only in the center part, even when I am grinding upside down I still do it this way and then flip it instead of loading the lid personally... I am also pretty ocd about poking out bits with a toothpick afterwards and running my finger along those sides of the lid after each use.
Yeah it is hard to tell in the pictures, that it is not simply just an upscaled large of the regular size, but more teeth and slightly different layout, I enjoy the differences, and I'm glad I have both, but worth mentioning for someone trying to decide between them!

Hmmm, I wanna get it only with the coarse screen, so I can grind as little as possible but to have the nugs break up pretty good for convection.
That already works pretty well with the normal BCG and coarse plate, but I imagine with the large it might be even easier, because when I want as little grind as possible, I do half turns and hit the grinder with my hand to make bud fall through the holes.

I got a full onyx set with ruby (fine) and gold (coarse) plates, and the black, although it is beatiful, is nowhere near as pretty as the ruby and gold ones, absolutely sexy, sometimes i just turn them empty and touch them, such good design
btw, extra question not related to the BCG but the firm, Grinders for life. A while ago, might be a year now, the Grinders for life account on reddit commented on the vaporents subreddit that they made a new kind of vaporizer and can't wait to show us. I asked whether it was something like a dynavap because they got CNC and all that, but they responded with: no, something new and unique.
Still waiting for some new about it, anybody got any info?

I wouldn’t count on it, I placed an order on 420 and that hasn’t shipped yet, so there’s obviously still a backlog.
An update as per my European fellow FC'ers:
ChitChat/Asendia delivered my BCG to a US carrier, step 2 completed! It's on the move after almost 10 days (mail 31/05, label created 28/05)
So no worries if you don't hear from it (edit:yours) for a while...
Enjoy the excercise of patience, the reward will be exponentially!

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
I'm not even a week into owning but I got to post my initial thoughts. So far every grind has gone the same no matter the plate, load the middle ring with small pieces, squish and twist, sticky turn sticky turn sticky turn, free spinning a additional turn or two and open and the grinder is empty, open the herb chamber and it's half full and fluffy! 
Normally that would be enough to last me a couple days maybe 3 if I'm feeling miserly but dam it I want to use my BCG again! Thank goodness I didn't get the large or I'd be grinding enough for a week LoL. So I'm doing what any sane person would do?!? And vaping more! Of course 
treating myself to some big fat VRod bowls at low temp and saving my avb. Been finding myself course grinding in the morning and having a bowl or two then later in the day I dump the herb chamber into the lid and attach the fine plate and the rest of the grinder and grind upsidedown a little then flip over and give another couple turns and I got the perfect grind to just cover the screen in my vapes.......... Sorry Ted's.......... Aromatherapy device?!? Whatever we're calling them now 
I was hoping I would like the grinder especially for the price but dambed if it didn't impress and win me over from the very beginning! Freaking love this grinder!
PS when I said sticky turn I only meant there was some friction or resistance but it's pretty minimal and could hardly be considered sticky really.

they were certainly blasted with orders during 420 and prly should put 8 weeks as the lead time just to be safe especially this time of year. I ordered my large 4/16 and got the shipping notice this morn.delta hotel
