Is this your first vape and are you new to 18650 i?
No, not my first, I’ve been with Arizer Since forevermore Not familiar with the batteries at all. Where should I get them? What type should I get? ALSO, I read somewhere that people are using products from the Mighty with the Tera. What should I get from Storz?

Thank you!

I recommend LG HG2 18650 20A Flat Top 3000 batteries, at least 2. Also a Nitecore I2 2 bay Li-ion battery charger. I deal with Liion Wholesale, genuine products. This will only set you back around $30.00 shipped to your house. Best to set off small, especially if you're on a budget. Four batteries will last me a day, or about 100 minutes total. I vape my first bowl at 380F and second at 415. Next would be the dosing capsules for the Mighty fit the Tera, I have not tried them yet. I use this vape at home, so I use a 6 1/2 long glass stem. The stock glass one gets to HOT. I took the glass out and slipped in two Azirer glass mouthpieces from my Extreme q back to back. The wpa is fine in my opinion. There are even a couple of wood mouthpieces that I am looking at for when I do take it out. Although it's hard to beat my Fury 2 for travel . I'm not a fan of the plastic one. There are a lot of mods for this vape on reddit to. Solo mouth pieces, j hooks, bubble straws. Have fun and hope this helps.

@Maine420 Tera v3 is a killer through water, make sure you get a nice bubbler.

Thank you! If you can think of anything else, please chime in! I’m going to start reading some preceding pages on this thread to get more familiar!

One more important thing I believe is you never have to click the button 5 times after you initially turn it on. After the five minute timer goes off it shuts down. Hold the power button about 3 seconds and then it gives you other 5 minute session. If you want to stop the session hold the power button again and it shuts down or goes in to sleep mode. No more 5 clicks on or off. I hope I explained that correctly.

Just got my Tera a few days ago....very happy ripping the shit outta this thing on the bong.

2 questions about charging

1) Anyone use a 3rd party cable or know if its ok? I know they officially say to use the OEM cable. But I can't see a great reason a high quality 10 ft micro usb like an anker powerline wouldnt be ok. Thoughts? I have a nitecore for my spare 18650 just would make it easier to plug it on to the unit

2) Again I know they don't recommend pass through charging but whats the forum consensus on this? Batteries are cheap so I dont care if they degrade fast and I have to replace them. I just dont want to fuck up the unit itself.

Just wanted to show you guys this. It's a funnel from delta 3d studios. Its ok for loading. What I've found most useful is it keeps the wpa from rolling around and falling off my table (which has been happening a lot).

Any way to turn this Tera off without taking out the batteries? I read and reread the instruction manual but nothing...
It keeps turning itself on in my bag and pocket. Though it doesn't heat up unless holding three seconds it stills eats at the battery life.

Isthere anything special i need to know about these batteries for the TERA any particular specs to look for

I just checked and I've been using an 8 Amp(samsung 35E) rated battery oops.
when I buy a new set I'll probably go with 20amp 3kmah LG HG2. --these are good cells, I've had about 20 for 2.5-3 years(might have been the previous gen), about 10 are still good/carry good capacity.

I am thinking the 30amp supplied batteries are for concentrate/500f mode.(they are probably not truly 30A, more like a cheap China cell, rewrapped with overstated specs)

another note: keep batteries "married"..don't mix/match.
also: flat top only for the Tera, button top will probably be too long.

all you need to know about safety/etc: (IMR will probably fall under lithium ion cells)
https://batteryuniversity.com/

go with the 3k 20a LG HG2s unless you must have a true 30amp, which I dont think is necessary.

@pcizzy buy a external battery charger!!! Highly recommended!!!
I want a new portable to check out how far they have come?
I heard by someone very knowledgeable that the TERA was a model better than most + cost in use is decent as well?

Some like are not concerned with horrible flavor? (Nothing wrong with flavor preference?)
MARY POPPINS sang, “a tea spoon of sugar make’s the medicine go down.”

What is the best place to get one?
I heard for reading thick book’s their perfect?
