@KeroZen It doesn't matter. It's off gasses at 220 etc as well. It only stops when it's shutting off.. You don't know how many times a started cheering just to realize it has shutoff... ;(

Blue colored smoke is an indication of oil or grease. That should have burned of unless there is a pile of it in there, who knows until we see its guts.Here another short one from yesterday. Idling at 260C.

Oil smoke generally is not bitter. I’m betting I find some Polyimide film near the heater.
I’m really hoping I’m wrong. That would be a serious noob design mistake.
Just because the specs say it has a max temp of 500*F does not mean it should be used in applications above 250*F.
The heater in this thing has to be going well above 500*F to produce 500*F air temps.
Oh yes, the temperature probes are coming out.

Katdaddy, You have a great attitude! We could ALL learn from this. Lets hope Randall, Eric and the Bndlstech crew get this resolved soon. I know they are at the CHAMPS show this week in Vegas. They have to be seeing this stuff! Hopefully just early production glitches.I just wish I could use this thing already! Wonder how long before they get replacements at Boundless.

I would tend to agree...this shouldn't be happening and Boundless needs to get all over this! I mean, essentially all of the first adopters are being used as defacto QC. Just not right!

Boundless just doesn't know how to do QC.. either that or they just don't bother. CFX had bad airflow and they had to fix it with new mouthpiece, CFC mouthpiece cracked and melted, CFV had its mouthpiece colour melting, now with the Tera the WPA sux and there are these fumes that some are showing...
When will this epic fail stop Boundless? I'm expecting the good old silence treatment from them, but even if they promise to make sure it doesn't happen again, by now I know these are empty words and nothing changes. And then they show like 5 new future products at champs pfft. I know I won't be getting anymore Boundless products again

Dude, I'm not sure what you would call all the issues that I've mentioned with their devices due to lack of testing them, but this isn't North Korea. Not sure how you prefer to defend them seeing the fume videos posted here, but fine be a fanboy
With that said, Boundless are pretty good and innovative and the only company to do streams and really listen to their customers, gotta give them that, and gotta give them the harsh criticism as well.

Cfc mp did crack. Then it's my understanding they fixed it... Cfv you couldnt soak the red mp in alcohol but that was cosmetic ... Cfx airflow is what you make it. It can be clogged easily when using it stock.. or be modded to collect honey and have improved airflow.. bndls is resilient. The take a bad situation and make the best of it.
I for one am excited about all the new portables / the first desktop.
If someone doesn't want to be boundless by all means walk along...

That is a thing for the trashcan and not for loungs or people's faces.
Sry but IMO the guy who is making such fails should get stress even if he is only a small worker.
If I would make fails at my Job it can be life threatening.
I think if someone is playing with others health the one should get problems with health himself.
I don't want make trouble for nobody but that is may opinion and i don't hear anything from boundless on this forum.
In this point Boundless should open eyes and learn from Vivant how to do this.
They, like many other companies, have had growing pains, but to my recollection have always offered a remedy to their customers. This is NO exception. Im sure they will get to the bottom of this. Calling me a "fanboy" because I remind you of the rules not to bash companies is something you can take up with the moderators. Saying they don't "bother" to do QC is an accusation that you assume and could have ramifications. Its called liable!

They always stand by their products and will fix the issues. Saying they buy expensive vapes for themselves shows exactly how out of touch with them you actually are. You know nothing. They constantly use BOUNDLESS vapes. At this point you’re just here complaining and not even trying to be productive. Do us all a favor and return your Tera (if you own one) and just go away. Would be better for all of us and for Boundless to be rid of you. You’ll be a constant problem full of misinformation and judgement. Just go, they don’t need your cash to buy expensive vapes.

Yeah, liable for your health. You are using an illegal product in the vape you know, no matter what state you’re in (if you’re US) it’s still illegal.

I said that I like them alot too but if I say the car i repaired is safe it has to be safe so where is the problem?

The device itself is not illegal and is used for more than just vaping marijuana. You can vape many different herbs as well. It is marijuana that is federally illegal not vaporizers.
I would really like to see a tear down of one of these off gassing units. Thats just insane.
