Boundless CF / CFX / CF-Hybrid

Hey does anyone own a Vapcap and a Boundless CF/X? I'm torn between a Ti Woody and the CF. I know they're both completely different portables but I just want to see what others opinions are. My main priority is stealth. Is the CF bulky and not discreet?

If your main priority is stealth I think it's quite obvious which you should choose. CFX is probably 10x as big as the Vapcap or bigger haha. CF probably 7x.
Yeah but the CF seems so much easier to use and doesn't require a butane lighter to be carried around with it. I know the Vapcap is easily smaller, but I'm just trying to figure out just how big the CF is. Anything you can compare the CF to?

For me my CF is more a session vape when i'm not at home ^^

Couldn't find one exactly but I think This is a good general image if anyone else is interested with size comparisons.

With that I think you can get the jist of size.

You've been asking for a comparison of the CF to the PAX, the Alfa, the FW3, and now the Dynavap for the last month, just get the CF  it obviously has caught your eye in some capacity.

You want stealth, get the CF, the Dynvap has an external butane lighter that is going to be more noticeable then the LED on the CF.

I have a CFX and a TI Woody, they are completely different portables just like you said so me comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges...

I do use the CFX all the time in groups at the bar or out out friends.

I do use the TI Woody by myself at bars too. I don't take it out to pass it around really. It's a little one style vaporizer.

I use them both on the couch at home.

The VC is probably quicker, but I usually need 2 loads to get to where I want to be, so it's about the same amount of time as just using the CFX once.

Hope it helps, buy the thing already!!

Got out the cfx today after a week with a mighty. Gotta say I thought I'd notice the difference in draw but still not a big deal. Flavor and vapor production aren't what I was used to the week prior. First few hits are great, still gives me that toasty flavor the mighty doesnt.

Wish I didn't have to vape at 420f but this gorilla glue 4 is super sticky and fresh

What do you think about gorilla glue 4? Give me your rundown review on it. Some phenotype share indicate dominate and some are sativa dom

I don't think it is as easy as equating stealth to size alone. With the CF, while it is not the smallest vape, it is small enough to keep in your pocket and just pull it out and take a hit, whereas with the Ti Woody vapcap you have to use a torch to hit it which in many cases will attract attention, especially in a quiet place due to the loud click when igniting the torch lighter.

And if you are using an OG glass vapcap...fugeddaboutit! Yeah, its small, but not only are you clicking lighters and torching the vapcap, but to pretty much anyone who sees you it looks like you are hitting a crack/meth pipe.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that the water pipe adapters are now here! We are getting everything prepared to start shipping them out. We apologize for such the long delay, they will be put up on the website as soon as we are done with inventory.
Great to hear the good news.
Now for some great news, any chance you are getting the lights on the CF to work as a battery meter?
It's what making me wait to purchase one!

Yes, our next batch of CFs will have battery indicator, stealth mode, and 2 click temperature change instead of having to hold the button down to change temp. We currently have one demo unit and will post a video of that by tomorrow. The new batch should be in by the middle to late June.

:):):)Okay, so I've been lurking for a while and researching vapes for about a month now. I'm brand new to the world of vapes and well as these forums so please forgive any newbness.
Anyway, I finally decided to go with the cf and purchased it last night from Boundless. I'm crazy excited to get it and now am worried I'm going to have to wait a while for it to get here.
I'm located in FL. About how long did it take those of you who ordered from Boundless to get your shipment? What about those of you who ordered from PIU? I'm thinking about cancelling from boundless and ordering from PIU if it'll be considerably faster.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Nice!

The lack battery indicator, and to a lesser extent lack of water adapter, were the two things holding me back from giving the CF a try. No reason now not to give it a go once the next batch come out! :)

Wow that's fast! Thanks!

(That's what she said?)

Haha waiting at my mailbox. Be here today! I'm excited!

To be honest my expectations are not high at all. I had a Mighty in the past and so far I've never used anything that's as good as that unit, including the Herbalizer.

If you order from PIU you can get 15% off with code PUFFEDUP

Do you like it?
Woops, sorry, I replied to the wrong person
But yes! I do like it! I got my Grasshopper about a month ago so the CFX has been kind of sitting but since I recently sold my GH I picked up the CFX last night and used it, I think once the WPA comes i'll be using it more often. I like to mainly vape through water which is why I haven't been using it, but if i'm too lazy to get out of bed or get out the water pipe I just reach for this since this sits on my night stand. Power it up, heats up in 30 seconds and boom, already getting baked!

I've been experimenting a lot with a bunch of different vapes recently to figure out exactly what I want which is why i've been kind of going through a lot of vapes. For me I like the CFX because it's a great low cost session vape that heats up fast! I think thats where it excels the most. Though I did like the grasshopper I didn't like the fact that I had to constantly pack it after about 3-4 hits but I did like that I was able to take a hit and not worry about my bud cooking in the chamber. A con for the GH is that there is a lot of failures and for me I don't really want to deal with returning it and doing the whole song and dance. With the CFX there has been I think only one or two people in this whole thread who have had any sort of issues and Boundless is quick to resolve it for them. For me I think both the GH and the CFX have their places in everyones line up depending on what they want.

What other vapes have you used? I've been finding lately the herbalizer wasn't really medicating me as much as I needed, which is insane considering it's a 700 dollar unit. Hopefully the ff2 and the CFX can help me there.

Thats crazy!!! I'd be extremely upset if a $700 vape couldn't medicate me!

I've used an Underdog, CFX, Grasshopper, Arizer air, Pax 1, Firewood v3, Omnivap, I have also used a Volcano but that was almost 10 years ago.
