I got mine today and shall see. I see the website states 2 year warranty while my owners manual states 1 year with 90 days on battery.
IIRC I read the battery was covered and after warranty $25 to replace but can not find that part right now.
*Edit (found on website "*Two-year warranty on the product and battery and offer a $25 replacement fee for internal maintenance/replacement after the two years."
Guess they changed it and not updated the book?
Mine seems to have a lot of gas. Ran thru 5 cycles and can taste something still.
The button turns back off if you hold it in after 5 clicks at all it seems so that might be the case Maggie. I just tested mine to try to get it to do the same and did when I hold in the power button after 5 clicks, this is also the way you can shorten the session if you want it shorter than 5 minutes, it states 3 seconds but mine is like 1 second time-wise before it shuts off.
I haven't been very happy with my CFX. Very little vapor even on the hottest setting. And I know others are reporting that the vapor is cool but it feels like it's barely there and I definitely don't feel like I'm getting very medicated. I usually finish with my dynavap.
When I turn it on (5 clicks) it lights up and then off immediately. Then I turn it on again and it goes through the heating process until it gets to the right temp. Is this normal?
Anyway, I don't know why, given the above, but I ordered a CF. My experience with the CF is totally different. Huge clouds on it's mildest temperature. I micro dose and even with a small amount in the bowl it lasted through 4-5 hits.
For those with both the CFX and CF have any of you had this kind of experience?
So as to not double post- someone posted that this has a good warranty. It seems very short to me. What am I missing?
