On black friday, anyone that was watching their youtube cast got an extra 50% off everything in the store that was already 25% off. I got so much stuff for under 100 bucks that it's insane. I should never need another vape again.
I bought a CFX from PIU but they are out of stock on the ELBs. Luckily VaporWarehouse (also an FC sponsor) has them. I did get Flowermate dry herb pods from PIU.
So now I need to see which pod or basket works best. I used the CFX only once without any pod. Too messy to keep clean easy. Of course I took out the stock screen assembly and put a stainless 1/2 inch screen in.
I replaced my mouthpiece with the aftermarket glass one made for the Crafty. It still gets warm to hot when chaining hits... but after-all if you think about it, it was the same with joints if you tried to smoke them too fast.
Try spacing your hits a bit more when it happens, or let it cool down 20 seconds or the like.
Members have successfully replaced the metal filter with an EB Basket screen. Reduces the restriction by 1/2!i was so disappointed with the cfx, the only reason i bought it was the black friday deal and the ELB mod. its the draw resistance that disappoints more than anything. it gets used but very rarely, maybe the crafty thats on its way will be used more.

Hi, sorry for quoting so old, but this is the only post I found talking about the vibration, which for me is quite an annoyance. It seems to bother people a lot less than what I'd have thought hehe. I mean, the cfx heats up so fast, that I don't see a reason to have such a strong, long buzz everytime it gets to the goal temperature. And even worse, taking battery life away every single time.OK, I killed the annoying vibrator on my CFX. At one corner of the circuit board there are two thin wires (blue and red) that go from the board to the vibrator on the inside of the plastic housing. Just clip either of those wires and the CFX won't vibrate any more. Leave the other four wires alone (the wires that go to the heater and temperature sensor).
DISASSEMBLY NOTE: Rear screws are Torx T6. Bottom screws are Philips #1.
