Best Single Hit Vaporizer For Perfect Dosage and Experience Replicability

Hey, I'd like to know what's the best single hit vaporizer. What I'm looking for is a vaporizer that I can put a specific ammount of weed into, preferably a small ammount(<.05) and know that once I finish the first hit the material is completely vaporized. This is great for managing dosages and knowing exactly how much I need to consume to obtain the specific effects I need.

What would you guys recommend? I will set up a poll when I find the possible candidates.

A log vape would be perfect. I have a Woodscents and .05g is pretty much my max load size. I’ll often load .025g and kill it in one hit with a bubbler. Logs are no-nonsense powerhouses and perfect for microdosing. Plus they’re beautiful. Look into them.
i agree ... i just got my first log vape this week (underdog custom fyt) and i am loving it!

.05g works just fine in the stock FlowerPot bowls. With creativity you can use it many different ways. I vape out of combustion pieces, use it like a log vape, grind bowls down to fit S&B dosage capsules, heck it even works with basket screens in the stock Ti bowl. Very versatile. Your imagination is the limit.

Edit: @Shit Snacks is right. Many vapes fit your requirements. Right now I just prefer the FlowerPot. I like how repeatable it is.

Really? I thought the flower pot wouldn't fit the requirements very well, particularly on the lower dosages. Care to clarify?

Here’s a example of a .05 session in one hit at pid setting 660. She never gets quite milky enough to completely obscure the down stem unlike a bigger bowl will easily but you can see it thin out towards the end, that’s the best my nearly 30 years of tobacco smoking lungs can do. If you go with a hotter temp and faster draw speed you could probably finish it faster than me but you would be sacrificing flavour but gaining a more combustion like effects so it’s a personal preference thing.

you could stir and clean up what’s left if you’re all about maximum efficiency but really it’s like a 1/8 the size of the first hit and for me not worth the effort. And I find the glass bowl is a bit better for micro dosing

Very nice, thanks for the effort you put into the demonstration, much appreciated. Would you think the flower pot to be the best option for this use case?

I don’t have any logs to compare with  my next most able micro doser is my dynavap and induction heater. It holds.1 and has 5 hits per bowl and the hits are pretty even dose wise, the first and last are a little thinner than the 3 in the middle but it’s pretty Negligible If you’re talking one hit at a time every couple hours or whatever. It’s my usual daytime vape for when I just want to hover a few inches off the ground instead of cruising at altitude. When I want stronger effects I go with the flower pot..... if time is a factor and my Weedeater is starting from cold, if I’m in a hurry I go with the dynavap and just crush a bowl in around 2 minutes 30 seconds

If your main goal is micro-dosing, Then I highly recommend a Woodscents log. You can literally vape a small crumb in one of those if you want to. It's especially good if you like Dynavap products, because the parts are interchangeable. I'd say that a log is king for micro-dosing right now. It can also milk the walls of a medium-size piece of glass quite well, if you want to.

If you want the best on the market right now that offers a wider range of use, everything from micro-dosing to massive cloud-chasing, milking a large glass piece, and everything in between...and you are fine with using a glass piece with your vape, then get the Flowerpot. I was amazed to realize that you don't even have to fully cover the Flowerpot's screen to still make a good and even extraction. This thing is a beast.

I sold my only log. I didn't have the patience for the ten to fifteen minute heat up time and the vague dial that was only useful from around 6 to 8.

I use Splinter Zs, Milaanas, a Tinymight, and an og Sticky Brick. All of them are good candidates for a quick microdose. If my goal was always to fully extract in one hit I'd reach for the Brick first and the Tinymight second as the rbt vapes like a bit of warmup.

Seems like a major problem with logs is that I assume they must be plugged in and the voltage dial is not very practical(is this specific to a log vape or common in all of them?), I suppose the first could be an advantage, which the flower pot shares. All in all seems like the flower pot is one of the most versatile vaporizers around. Anyone has any other suggestions?

A flowerpot also has to be plugged in, and takes up a lot more space on the table... At least that's what has kept me from buying one, or a supreme with enail, and other similar setups. Logs are typically pretty tiny, and also can be had for much less money!

Also not all logs use a dial, Alan makes his own custom VVPS, I have one with buttons, it is small and accurate, also first heat up is more like 5 minutes... I know the enano has a finicky dial, not sure what woodscents uses, but underdog also has separate VVPS.

You may want to check out elev8r and similar glass mass heater setups...

I have zero problems with the dial on my logs. Of course, digital voltage controllers are available, but I've never felt the need for one. Once you find the right spot for you on the dial, it is amazing. I know exactly where the right temp is on that dial for my own personal taste. I don't even care what temp it is, as long as it's the right one for me.

Just like my Silver Surfer vape. The dial doesn't even have any numbers or lines or anything. I just learn my sweet spot, and that's where it's at for me. I find the experience with these kinds of vapes much better than we looking for a specific digital temp number. It's not the temp of the herb when you are inhaling anyway. It's just an obscure number indicator, and you still have to find your sweet spot.

I love my flowerpot. It's got very precise temperature control. And, for flower, I've settled into 635f to be my sweet spot with the glass piece I currently use it with. But that's not the temperature in the bowl when drawing at all. that's the temp of the coil that heats up the metal body above the bowl. So, the temp I set it at is just as obscure as a number on a 1-10 dial. I find the sweet spot that works for me and I go from there.

You can trip yourself up looking for a specific temp. I find that just finding your sweet spot, learned by taste and experience with the device, is much more satisfying than trying to hit a specific temp.

I like to show people this pic I took of my log in action, as an example how much you can milk your glass with a log. I bet you'd like to drink this milkshake. That was all tasty vapor, with no combustion taste. :smug: :

To be clear I don't think the benefit of the digital is having a number for the voltage, I also think an analog dial knob it's perfect for a vape, love the one on the Zion and LSV, but a shitty one like the one on the VVPS for my vapbong is a little more tedious, which is what someone else seemed to say about the enano at least? A good knob is great!

While the Flowerpot does work quite well for vaporizing smaller amounts, I think a log is a better suggestion for someone looking to consistently do small bowls. The log also offers more direct draw options which may be useful depending on the OPs vaping preferences.

I love the heavies but IMO they make more sense for a heavier user.

First of all, thanks everyone for all the suggestions, and the time put into making these explanations. While all suggestions currently in here seem to be of great value, there seems to be one thing missing, which is being practical in all of them. Maybe it's just me for being inexperienced, but aren't log vapes overkill for the use case in mind? They seem to be kinda expensive, need a lot of time warming up, and while they're indeed beautiful, they need quite the apparatus to deliver that single hit I'm looking for. The flowerpot is even more complicated. I know you all love vapor, and it's quite obvious that you all chase it to an extent, but from a drug administration perspective, what matters the most is being able to put your known dosage, inhale it preferably in a very pleasurable experience(good flavour) and feel the dose specific effects without having to do further administrations(inhalations), regardless of the vapour generated. For example, in my solo I generally pack 1/4 of a stem at 180º and let it pre-heat for 1 minute to try to extract it all at once, because on the second hit, there's this harsh feeling in the throat that irritates it, so I just let it an extra-time warming up and do the single first it and dump it, but I'm aware I'm still dumping possibly rich material. While I feel like the log vapes somewhat fulfill these requirements, they lack the portability and the aethestics seem to make them more directed to the vape connoisseur than say a regular consumer(as well as a reason to push the price ridiculously high). I don't know if there are better alternatives out there, but what I'm looking for with this message is to now find a different kind of suggestion, if there are any left.

I think I said mentioned that a bamboo heat island from Alan is cheap, it's $50, with the stem and VVPS you're still not going to go much over $100 after shipping... I also don't know what you mean by apparatus, and as far as consistent dosage, using the same stem as a bowl loading just enough to fill the basket for one hitters, that is pretty consistent dosing as far as I'm concerned... so I'm not really sure what you're talking about when you say it's missing something, also the portables we mentioned, way better at doing what you described than the solo (that is session conduction vape with way less power than any on-demand convection vape, so the comparison is almost silly btw) So check out the tinymight, tetra, milaana, splinter, imp, glow, etc. for portables...
