For a couple of hits a night, you could really consider anything overkill.
If you can accept that then a log does seem like a good option, but anything that’s full convection should work. Portables like the Nomad, Milaana, MVT, iHeat, Splinter, Imp, Glow, Li’l Bud, etc. and desktops like the FlowerPot, Herborizer, Glass Symphony, Evo, etc. are all worth considering.
Personally I’d go with the FlowerPot or Nomad (and I did, although my Nomad is still being built). They’re both pushing the limits of your budget, but you can get a solid WeedEater setup or a Nomad if you can skip upgraded woods and stuff for $300.
If you’re interested, message
@Dan Morrison here to get on the Nomad list or try this link for a FlowerPot:

If you look at the prices of all of your decent options, I think most of the best ones are in the $200-400 range (including a good mod box if you went with a 510 attachment like a Splinter), and personally I’d stretch my budget to get what I really wanted rather than settling for something cheap that I didn’t love.
Anything I mentioned that looks good to you should be good though, I’d just skip the cheap plasticy stuff and almost anything that’s primarily conduction obviously if you don’t want a full session.
Dynavaps seem to be the most simple vapes in terms of microdosing considering they are small and direct with full convection and they work like a one hitter.
They are great, but they are not full convection. In fact, they are primarily conduction with some convection mixed in. The bowl under the cap heats up along with the cap which is where the conduction comes from.
Since they heat up and cool down so fast though, they don’t have to be used for a full session and that could trick you into thinking that they were primarily convection.
