What about the PH cable distinguished it from the non-artisanal ones?

For me the resistance stability, the functionality because of the handle, and the overall aesthetics.

The PlanetHulk and Lamart Cables are artisan and both are great. If you can I would get those over the AVS ones and better skip the magnetic ones from that other brand as they are not really suitable for the BakX resistance-wise.

Neither of which are available for an undetermined amount of time (Lamart shop closed, PH saying next drop in a couple of months.) In the meantime I did buy an AVS cable. I would have preferred to buy from Lamart or PH; I'd like to get a u-banger and would have been happy with a cable from either. In this case, at least for now, the open store wins.

Can't disagree with that! It also seems to work flawlessly. If anyone chooses to wait though, I see no reason to be disappointed if there is no rush

That's probably best for flavor. You can also use ground flower for dense vapor.

Hey! Been longing for a BakX for a while and will be ordering one at the next drop. But very unsure of what box mod to order for the unit. Would love one box mod that has plenty of power for home use (maybe multiple 21700 batteries) and a small box mod that I can utilize while out and about. What box mods do you recommend? Is the tubo evic software still necessary with newer box mods? Seems like on newer box mods models you don't need the customfirmware or have I misunderstood? Thanks!

Hey good luck on the next drop. Maybe you’re aware and it’s just word choice, but it’s not as easy as just ordering one when they drop. There’s a lot of people competing for a few units on the Lamart drops. Or maybe you’re referring to the CS restock?

Going with DNA mods or AF/RP mods still require custom firmware that is easily obtained from the Lamart site, or from the Discord channel. Depending on where you’re located, availability on mods differs and supply is somewhat limited on them as well. Good luck, hope you’re BAKx’ing with us soon.

As far as I know, nothing is known about the next drop yet. Lamart is still on winter break. It was once said that Cannabissommelier would have another drop, but there are no news about that either. So I finally got my hands on a Iroko BakX.. and all I have to say is that I'm speachless. By far the best conduction device I've ever used, but scared shitless of how fragile it feels.

Love u hook stems with my TM2 and TP80, so I'm sure they are amazing with BAK too, but I am going to try one of the shorter wide diameter full color cooling stems to do more direct draw...
