I have no clue what's up with the post office. So they do this thing where they pi,ck up packages one day, ship the next. To avoid this, we loaded up trucks today and yesterday and took the packages straight to the distribution center so they would go out same day. Pretty funny to watch, actually. Wish I would have taken a picture in hindsight.
Regarding the messaging, yeah sometimes I want you guys to have different info than the rest of the world. You are, after all a different audience who doesn't care if flexi straws are 50% off. You guys are my hardcore, give me Ascent and tell me how it's made audience- which is awesome. We are working on better syncing the 2 channels, but there will still be disconnect- as those 8k people may still need an original DV. That model is not going anywhere. I still have mine and love it. But we hear you.
I am going to start to leak some orders to GV shortly, they are our partners in this business, not to mention personal friends, and even though not a sanctioned presale- as none were- we can't leave them hanging. I don't have all of the stock for their presale- it will come in lots.

If you have the units to leak to them then why can't I get one from you... I'm preregistered as other people are but as we were told there are no units left. In addition the fact that people that bought from the dv web sight get them first is fine but why does gotvape get special treatment we are all playing costumers

At this point I wouldn't trust what DV says cause there may be 10 authorized sellers. Also with the original model DV said none where counterfeited and they honored all units so what would this be any different? This was just one big colossal fail. I am glad it gave me plenty of time to see if the unit would be right for me instead of spending money needlessly. I hope you all enjoy your ascent when you get it and it lives up to the hype. This unit is just not for me as it doesn't fit in with what I already have. It gives me no new advantages.
I, for one, find it hard to appreciate the statement that GV (online reseller) will be getting preferential treatment over-and-above Davinci's other US distributor (a non-web retailer)! It is unfortunate for folks like me who already paid good money months ago to online sellers like EZVAPES.com that have been and continue to be on the hook to their back-of-the-bus US distributor. NOT FAIR!

At this point in time, DV, I don't really think that there's anything you could say that won't be challenged or considered fair and could very well be an impetus to just not show up here and give out any more info, but I strongly suggest to resist the urge to do so as I think that most here really welcome your input, regardless if that input is questioned or not.

LW, that is a huge 180...diff info from diff people that work for the company is not right no matter what you think of a product or guess about a product most don't have yet. I lost a lot of respect for dv over this not that it matters to them but it does to me.
Guys I agree with you on this. We told distribution they would get units later they decided to launch presales and tell consumers dates to keep people coming in. No, it's not fair. We are doing our best to put units out as fast as possible to all channels. TV is in line and will get units directly from us. EZ vapes buys from a different distributor, so I don't know when we/they will fill that order. We were clear with them online sales policy- what the distribution rep said to get a commission, I can't say either. I would simply be speculating as they have been. No one expected these delays and it has caused a ruckus.
What I do know is that we will be releasing units to those that preregistered on our site, in the order received.

I don't think she can, Snappo. At this point, regardless what she says, for some, the mud will be cleared while for others, it could just get murkier.
Not a 180 Dreamerr. As you know, I was one of DV's very first critics, if not THE first, and I did so vehemently and I would never excuse them for the way this launch or their contests were handled. It was atrocious and it was done so poorly, that any attempt in thinking that they could make everything right again with this launch would be akin to un-ringing a bell, but I do think that it is admirable for DV to come in here and take her punches that she knew was coming, and I encourage her to continue to do so, but that in no way excuses how this whole thing was handled.

The ezvapes.com distributor was going to get their shipment prior to the Customs debacle...same time that GV and TV were supposed to. Now their not! What has changed? BULLSHIT!!! I will be sure to inform the interested parties of this new development! Now you've fuckt with me.
We don't sell directly to them, they buy from another distributor. We are building stock right now and as we do will release into distribution. We've only just received the first 2 shipments so have a little while to go before that happens. I will call the distributor and talk to them though.

I would also like to get an answer on this. The fact of the matter is that the information from dv over the last few months has sucked. There is no other way to say it. The information has come I'm small amounts and sometimes not at all. And when it does come in the answers are vague, miss leading, or just wrong. In addition you don't answer questions when answering others. It is quite obvious you are reading what is being said and you will respond to questions on the thread but not others. This is my first experience with dv and I must say it is NOT a good one. In fact its down right awful. It is OBVIOUS that your guys are having problems and I am understanding of that but the way you are handing things is insulting and I think I speak for most people when I say I want answers.
When I called them, they said warranty won't be an issue. Are they not telling the truth, or will you honor your warranty from them? They seem to be reputable, and it is your product, so why wouldn't you honor a warranty from them?
I, like mmenzie, am also very glad that I ordered direct.
I am not arguing with you but could you provide a source I dont recall reading that information.

It seems pretty messed up to me to place blame directly on DV for the commitments and words of the folks that sell these units all on there own. I know that for the ones that purchased with a firm commitment date stated by DV its a little differnt, but the ones that purchased earlier while DV had said nothing is set in concrete yet should have taken DV's word on it instead of a sales person. It's been brought up more than once about the warrantee, EZVapes isn't authorized but they say they will honor the units. How that's accomplished really doesnt matter a whole lot if the result is the same in the end but if DV decides to stick to their policy and not honor something that's from EZVapes and if EZVapes decides not to do anything about it I don't see why DV would be at fault for that. A while ago they posted up info that the only places to be authorized were GV and TV, which hasn't changed. One thing that could help is if DV would ensure that the special badge that is supposed to be shown on these sites is actually setup so folks know if they are buying from an authorized reseller or from someone just reselling whatever they bought from wherever.
DV has dropped the ball in some places, prematurely communicated to us when we were clamoring for updates and got bitten in the ass for it, but holding them responsible for commitments given to you by another party seems unreasonable. If DV ever came out and said that the units would be in the hands of their authorized resellers at some specific point I may have missed that, and apologize for that screwup.

I realize EZVapes is buying from this "other distributor" and you can't predict their shipping dates. I'm trying to find out a) when *you* will be shipping to this distributor and b) why this distributor seems to be an afterthought while GV is a "befriended" distributor and TV falls somewhere in the middle.Davinci_vaporizer said:
