Ascent Vaporizer - The Ordering, Shipping, & Other Nonsense thread

I realize EZVapes is buying from this "other distributor" and you can't predict their shipping dates. I'm trying to find out a) when *you* will be shipping to this distributor and b) why this distributor seems to be an afterthought while GV is a "befriended" distributor and TV falls somewhere in the middle.

Where's my 3rd pre-registration notification ?? Considering I was bumped by line jumpers due to the info leak (and I was at the keyboard tapping away for nothing for hours for the 1st two notifications), I'd expect to at least (hopefully) get another to go crazy with yet again and get this fucker ordered.

It seems pretty messed up to me to place blame directly on DV for the commitments and words of the folks that sell these units all on there own. I know that for the ones that purchased with a firm commitment date stated by DV its a little differnt, but the ones that purchased earlier while DV had said nothing is set in concrete yet should have taken DV's word on it instead of a sales person. It's been brought up more than once about the warrantee, EZVapes isn't authorized but they say they will honor the units. How that's accomplished really doesnt matter a whole lot if the result is the same in the end but if DV decides to stick to their policy and not honor something that's from EZVapes and if EZVapes decides not to do anything about it I don't see why DV would be at fault for that. A while ago they posted up info that the only places to be authorized were GV and TV, which hasn't changed. One thing that could help is if DV would ensure that the special badge that is supposed to be shown on these sites is actually setup so folks know if they are buying from an authorized reseller or from someone just reselling whatever they bought from wherever.

If DV ever came out and said that the units would be in the hands of their authorized resellers at some specific point I may have missed that, and apologize for that screwup.

I am NOT holding them responsible for what others are saying. But I am holding them responsible for what they have said and What has not been said.

Absolutely. Hold DV accountable for their own words and deeds. Other resellers are going to say what they can to get your money...DV is not responsible for that.

you have asked that 3 times and no one has shown the proof. i'm not saying it wasn't said, but i too, do not remember reading that and would love to see where that was said. i do remember GV (yuck) and TV were on equal grounds but i do not remember EZVAPES being in that mix. I am aware I have asked that three times (sorry if I'm being annoying) but I would like proof of it being said and since more then one person is claiming it.... But with out proof they are just words and words don't mean much.

Go directly through DV, pay full price and be one of the first people to receive an Ascent, or order through EZvapes with their $25 discount and hope and pray you'll eventually receive your order. No offense, but in my view DV was basically putting us on notice that if you order through an unauthorized retailer they can not be responsible for when or if you get our Ascent. I'm glad I ordered through DV! Sometimes saving a little money is not worth the time and aggravation. My two cents....

It's not about the 25$ AT ALL for me. Its about getting my ascent asap and gotvape and trontovape and dv are sold out so what am I supposed to do? You have a better option because it seems that the THREE distributors were supposed to get them at the same time And ezvape is getting there units from mystery distributor number 3

I'm not so sure about those apples. I remember GV and torontovape being being the 2 authorized online distributors. I'm guessing ezvape is getting them from one of these guys which could take who knows how long. Then again I could be completely wrong, this is the gibberish thread after all.

Closest I ran recall is a rumor a while back about DV stockpiling units to be able to deliver to GV, TV, and direct sales simultaneously. Key word is rumor, and unsubstantiated. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's not what you want to hear...but the only real option is to wait. ASAP has to give way to TBA...these things have barely been released, and it'll take a while for them to fill the channels.

The upshot is that they are indeed coming. They've apparently fixed the issues with customs, and will presumably resume shipments from the factory shortly.

Edit: just saw GotVape is showing a list price of $360, but they give you a magical discount down to $250. I really hate when companies do that...

I am sorry but you are mistaken there are 3 distributors but gv and TV are the only ones that do retail and distribution

Update on mine: It is showing acceptance in Las Vegas. It is showing priority 2-day mail and says it should be here on the 23rd! I can't wait!!!

I just got another email from DV with my shipping number (same as last email). It now says 2-day shipping and should arrive on Friday. Can't wait for this weekend!

I saved $60 on my order, including shipping. Of course, had I known about this hierarchy among distributors, I would've ordered elsewhere. Things become a lot easier with 20/20 hindsight.

Anyway, here are some interesting quotes:

GV & DV are not the US dist. in question. I've said all I can say. source

I am going to start to leak some orders to GV shortly, they are our partners in this business, not to mention personal friends, and even though not a sanctioned presale- as none were- we can't leave them hanging. source

We are doing our best to put units out as fast as possible to all channels. TV is in line and will get units directly from us. EZ vapes buys from a different distributor, so I don't know when we/they will fill that order. source

At this point in time, DV, I don't really think that there's anything you could say that won't be challenged or considered fair and could very well be an impetus to just not show up here and give out any more info, but I strongly suggest to resist the urge to do so as I think that most here really welcome your input, regardless if that input is questioned or not.

Unlike most of you, I have not and will not resort to acting like an incessant child (though I'm sure I'm younger than most of you) while whining about this, that and the next. I'm not going to name names, but some of you need to step back and relax. Complaining and ripping apart everything DV says and does, even when it is POSITIVE, is just insane. Some of you guys are so self-centered it is just sickening ... you seem to think that FC and this forum is the center of the universe ... the units purchased by FC members comprise an extremely small percentage of their total sales. Do all of us a favor and please grow up.
