We haven't officially released the pricing yet, to anyone.....and I'm not even going to comment on the Ebay thing. (Actually I did..but deleted it prior to posting as this is not that arena :cuss:)


Guys, let me double check on the bowl size, I was told 30% bigger than to the DaVinci- which is kinda vague.

Can we get a ballpark price? It won't be more than 300? Will it? I think that the 249 is the sweet spot!

The Ascent looks to me to be aimed squarely at the Pax. If it is trouble-free, it stands a good chance of outdoing the Pax in every aspect that matters. The coup de grace would be a lower price.

No matter how stealthy and convenient externally, as long as the manufacturer sounds too shy to provide a visual illustration of his device's air/vapour path then i'd expect others like me to simply wait patiently in anticipation that he gets bolder...

Please show us that a concept just won't allow drawing potential contaminants from within the appliance, for example!

To me a great selling point of the Cera is that you can easily clean it completely - making travel with it much easier. How does this one stack up in that regard.

You won't be boiling or torching your Ascent, that's for sure. From the description so far, cleaning it completely—by which I assume you mean for travel or shipping—should be really easy, since the path and bowl are all glass. I asked if there was a screen or some sort of particulate filter but I didn't see an answer. I doubt that having one would complicate things much.

I'm a n00b here, but since when has an absence of information ever prevented someone from proffering an opinion on the internet? ;)

I'm guessing $250, with a pre-sale of $200. [DaVinci: HINT, HINT!]

If it's at that point, I'd probably buy it right away. [Oh, look! More market data.]

If it is the $300+, I'd probably wait it out. And/or get the existing model for the time being.

Speaking of which, what is this (vape) market like? Is this like electronics, where people that are on the vape cutting-edge will unload the last model just as the new one become available? Or do most people just hold on to their stuff. (I've been viewing the Classified section here, and not seeing a lot of churn, so I expect the latter, but, again, I don't know.)

Some do some don't but the DV has great sales since it is going to be the old model real soon. What happens is when this model is released you may see a lot up for sale of the old model but not mine lol. It is a fast changing market so buckle down and enjoy the ride.

Hello to comunity and my american friends.This is my 1st post here,but long time reader.That Ascent looks so promising and when it gets out,if it lives 80 percent up to the promises it will be the first vape I will purchase ever.I am from Europe and it would be nice if someone whom knows, would post here list of the official web stores/resellers which will be selling this particular vape in Europe sometimes in future.I know only of Vaposhop-europe but they dont seem to have any portables on stock,ever.Would it be possible for me to order one from like e-bay or is that not reccomended?So just any list of reliable vapeshops in EU for us EU customers.Thanks in advance...,cant wait for more info on Ascent...

You will get your info when the vape comes out. Maybe you can ask vapeshop to be a vendor for this vape. I don't know how that works. You also can order directly from davinci.

If that's really the case, you may be unique on this Forum. "Some cloud production" is enough? Did you notice the Cera thread? Over half a dozen of the most amazing cloud videos I've ever seen weren't half enough for many.......

I'm beginning to feel like a massive vapor slut. I find myself becoming frighteningly obsessed with a vape only to jump ship to the next new vape the second it's announced. Please Da Vinci make this vaporizer the absolute shit so I can put and end to my promiscuous ways.
