That was brilliant and hilarious!

whistling - I just hit my unit cold with a full load and couldn't get any whistling in any configuration...and this is from a stem I had whistle earlier. I think it was still wet from cleaning. I have another air path soaking and will change them and see if that one whistles...I'll make sure it's wet, too.

Hey man I'm just intense that's all we need more of a overview with this unit all were focusing on is herb and it is a dual purpose vape oils and herb we really have no idea how she performs with oils so its all one sided.
And I'm sorry you don't understand my posts pretty straight forward rants lol

I'm very analytical and a thinker of sorts when approaching vaporization due to the many different reasons I use cannabis and vaporizers.
I'm a medical patient who grows and needs a daily intake of cannabinoids so I can function in a some what normal way on a daly basis. So I get a little emotional and intense regarding my medical needs and the delivery of my medicine cause its my life line.

They are in the process of clearing customs, I have our entire 250 piece pre-order batch coming in.

We have it set up so that they will leave the same day that they arrive.

I've dealt with manufacturing in China. I'm not surprised.

EDIT: Additionally quite a few companies will ship straight from the factory to the end customer. I've watched things like laptops get stuck in customs by just paying attention to the tracking number.

My own "guess" is that GV has been informed by DV that the units are clearing customs. When they get to DV, they will then ship them out to GV...at that time GV will get their tracking number...

Poonman -- If that's my comment you are talking about, FOR ONCE I wasn't being sarcastic. ;)

EDIT: Most likely the units are being packaged at the factory (including production of the packaging). So when they leave the factory, they should be completed units, ready for sale. It makes more sense to do QA *prior* to everything being boxed up. On that note, since the QA is done and the items is boxed, why not ship directly to distributors? Why pay to ship it to one place to the pay again to ship elsewhere?

One of the issues we've run into, is that you never know with customs. Some times a lot will just sail through, and the next time an identical lot will stall out for an undetermined period of time.

It's a crap-shoot.

OK I am lost now but to ship directly to GV is just bad business IMO from most of our experiences dealing with GV. Where is menz when we need him?

PN had one bullet and many other products weren't as they are suppose to be. QC people QC needs to be done by DV in this case not GV who we think won't do it? I hope you get a great discount cause some will be getting returned or missing pieces.

Sorry to be cynical but it is all over FC how they do business. They may have good intentions but they are a mass supplier and it is a numbers game maybe :shrug:

It won't be done by GV. As explained above, it is done before it is put into retail packaging.

Usually you have either one of your own people supervising, or you hire someone local there to manage the factory. (Otherwise, the factories will try to get away with anything and everything.) This is for smaller companies doing manufacturing.

You will do some final random spot checks, but most of it takes place before.

Now that you say, that, I think I recall them saying something along those line.

Shipping directly, as indicated, doesn't surprise me at all, and is done often. But a direct quote from DV would trump that.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: I found the quote I was looking for that says we (FC) get them first "and the rest will go into distribution." So that sounds like everything is going in one shipment.

THAT ALL BEING SAID, those quotes were from some time ago. Things could have changed since then. SO it could be possible that, due to the delays, they might change things up just to get things out quicker.

Big mistake cause they don't care in China how stuff is shipped supervised or not. In either respect it isn't my company or my reputation so I am out of this subject now. I said my peace.

Hmmm... why not use the lid? Wasn't it DESIGNED to be used with a lid?? He excuses that by saying he isn't going to turn it upside "sideways", but that's NOT WHAT THE LID IS FOR.

The lid affects the airflow, so why use the device incorrectly to review it? Wouldn't make more sense to use it properly FIRST, and then do tests changing stuff up? (Like our FC reviewers are doing?)

I notice he is doing smaller draws this time... [Okay, maybe I'm wrong... I just saw SLiM's comment after this. And he has a devices, so can recognize the sounds. Ahhhhh.... I just heard the end of the vid where it clicks. You know, a lid would prevent that, right?]

He draws to hard... you can hear the glass oil canister moving up and down and making a clinking noise as he inhales.

I have not tried the oil yet, but the premise reminds me of the Mircro Dabber accessory for the Solo that came out last year .

I will try oil before the official review. I am currently out and short on cash at the moment.
