I'd pay special attention to #1. Note the original model was NOT specified, but YOUR choice within the brand clearly is.

Also how is the smell on the unit? I've found that my davinci reeks after usage and I always assumed it was because of the material it's made out of.

A Waterpipe attachment would be so huge, that would give you every edge over the solo. Will it contain some kind of cleaning brush/poker like the Davinci, or does the new chamber make that unnecessary? If it's at all possible you guys should do custom prints on the outside (a la SSV) I know it's probably not feasible for release but I would definitely pay more for a custom print.

i am still VERY VERY interested in this one. Davinci_Vaporizer...... can you please go into some more detail on how oils are used in this?? I am mostly interested in the herb capabilities as that is what i have access to, but every once in awhile i get access to some oil or i have been making it myself. i would like to know how it's used in this device for that special time when i do get some oil

before this question gets buried too deep.... i thought an innocent bump to the front would be helpful for other people with this question mulling around in their head

Cellardoor what vape doesn't stink that is portable besides maybe the solo? That is my biggest issue with them. I went into the groomer shop yesterday and she said wow you have been smoking. I laughed. My vape was in my jacket pocket and it reaked. It happened to be the INH with the sanitary tube and the smooth flow attached. I find that anything with tubing of any type will smell bad which is why with the glass stem the solo is the least offender IMHO.

Menz I don't think the questions are getting buried. There are some I asked that didn't get answered either. I think they are ignoring some because they aren't sure yet.

They said March in another thread, and the previous device had a March 1 launch date originally, so I suspect that might be the original target, or the *earliest* we will see something.

That being said, they've been clear that they won't ship until they feel they got it 100%, and they won't announce an official date until they are sure the date won't slip. Both points are fine, and I'd much rather they refine all the details.

They've already said it is too late to change the grill at this point. So it is close. Probably not as long as June 1st, but no sooner than March.

Hi all! I'm a new member, but have been lurkin' on a few threads since fall of last year. I first stumbled upon this site when I was looking up information about the Davinci - after reading ~65 pages I knew I had to have one. I've been a huge fan of the Davinci, my first vaporizer, and have been weening off combustion since my Davinci first arrived. Upon receiving news about the Ascent, and reading this thread, I had to join the site.
Just wanted to say that I'm absolutely stoked to find out more about the Ascent and hopefully try one

What is the width of the straw and of the chamber?

With the original DaVinci, the bowl was too rectangular and long for the width it had IMO, which led to a bit of conduction by the bowl walls when it was idle, resulting in quick flavour loss.
