I still feel lucky, mine has worked perfect from day one.
There is also the "recreational herb chamber" which I believe raises the load nearer the heater, IIRC?Hiya, I also have the problem where even at the highest temperature the material isn't getting hot enough. It used to be fine.
I've tried replacing the bulb but it made no difference. Maybe I nudged the sensor accidentally; is it possible to recalibrate at home?
Other than that I'm going to try a Viton o-ring as mentioned by @Ozyzj to get a better seal.
Failing that I'll try and raise the screen. Seen a few options for this, from bread/dough to multiple screens; any new ideas?
I'd love to get it operating well again, it's a quite magical device.
Yeah there is that option if other efforts don't work. Got a feeling the sweet spot maybe somewhere inbetween both versions. Thanks manThere is also the "recreational herb chamber" which I believe raises the load nearer the heater, IIRC?
Look it up and see anyway, and good luck getting it to work better for you.
Well done Lazy, that is what I was thinking of I think, got a little muddled with the rec bowl.@Ed's TnT sells a neat Aromed replacement bowl as well!

That reminds me... I need to break out my Aromed 4.0 again.
Great flavor all the time!
Exactly the same for me. Too much hard work for the extraction. I was getting dizzy from all the inhales!I saw Ed's interesting bowl mod in the past. Is there a notable increase of performance aside the versatility of wt you can use it with?
I think it's possible to use the bowl w/o the stem?
Perhaps I would give my old Aromed a new try with it if so. It was my first vape even with awesome taste but never satisfying cloud production. But now it's collecting dust and it's just exhibited in my oriental vape salon as an ancient strange looking museal artefact of vape history.
So here's an update:
@Ed's TnT tells me that there is an upgraded version of his Aromed stem available. It's not on the website yet (though his original version is).
He says , "Yes sir I have an upgraded version much better than the one listed, website is changing so haven't posted it just yet."
Nice to hear that! Can you tell a bit about the differences, please?

Just one page back.

So, yeah, I just fixed my Aromed low temp problem in case you're interested how. This happened to my Aromed too. I already knew Frank, as I used to live in Heidelberg, Germany where the company is based, so he agreed to take a look at it for me.
Once recalibrated, my unit once again performed the way it should, giving nice vapor from around 180°C upwards.
I'm not saying this is definitely the issue here, but it is worth asking.
