Hi buzzy and welcome to the forum! I'm glad to hear the Zap has caught your attention. No surprise here that I love them. I have not used mine with a bong, but have multiple Tooties and stems and love to vary my usage of them. Each one gives it's own unique hit.
The Zap, however, is not a good party vape. It's fine with 1-3 people, but more than that is pushing it. Passing the Zap around puts a strain on the power cord. What I have found, since starting vaping, is that I needed multiple vapes. A whip type for group situations, the Zap for personal, efficient use, and one that was portable. Of all those vapes, the Zap is the one I use the most. IMHO, if I had to narrow it down to one vape, I would probably choose the Zap because aesthetically I like it the most, and it is the most efficient with herb. It also has the flexibility of using a bong, if desired.
You should probably decide what you need most in a vape before making a purchase. If it's something for a crowd, there are other options out there that might suit you better. If a more personal vape will work for you, I highly recommend the Zap.
