Damnit man. Here's another post designed to stir up controversy. Only difference is, is that it's in another thread.dadesign said:yes the wood thread was pretty much a disaster and had the two goons not stepped in it would have been fine. one day the segregation might stop..
that lead thing is just a ghost story cooked up by someone to use panic to sell product. create a market and then fill it. just spin IMO
and if there is a trace amount, so what. I get more trace amounts of poison from second hand smoke or car pollution, hell even freon from the AC i am sure..
oh and I was also thinking yesterday, how am I suppose to know all that stuff is there in the other one. I just have to take his word for it...just like a guarantee, gotta hope you follow through...I seriously think it has been forgotten what is being vaped through them...makes you think
but I am not a revolutionist. I didnt do it to create a cause or movement. but when they started it I was hoping people would then. in fact still might. I mean if you have a chart on them, which would you want. 2 and half month wait or a week. on that basis alone..... still I did want to display it so I will just have to resort back in here I guess
it is suppose to come out as a plug?? damn I am doing it wrong then. I do pack them with the dowel but I don't mash it in really.. the air flow seems hampered when I test it but when I put it in to inhale.. it is not much more..one time I thought I packed it too tight because it was like trying to suck a wendys frosty through a straw. I figured that had to be wrong..for the most part as well I have been only getting half a stems worth in there. i am not sure how much to the tip it should be.Rick said:In my opinion, without further questions, I think you are just putting a tiny amount in the stem tip and not packing it enough. We get 3-5 good pulls out of a normally filled tip. When it is done(the goodies all gone), it will blow out as a plug NOT a spray. If it does not blow out, pull again. I am talking long slow pulls with plenty of vapor.
And remember, they run a tad warmer with age. Leave it on, especially when new.
On the old subject, remember, all governments, institutions, organizations, businesses, etc have an accepted 'flow'. You can buck the flow abit but once you go into the radar, they got ya. Try to stay below the radar through life and it will be alot funner. Like the customer who replied "I want it dark in the car at night" when I asked him why he did not want an led. Under the radar. Still happy and free but under the radar.

Wow. This is kinda odd. Not trying to be judgmental or anything, but it's kinda like going to a dietitian for help in maintaining a healthy diet, and when you walk in, she/he is chomping down on a Big Mac and fries.Rick said:BTW everyone, just so you know it from me first. I stopped vaping and started smoking a few years ago after vaping for a couple years. I have been at it since '67 and I prefer the effects of smoke for my life at this time. If that seems like a conflict or hypocritical to anyone, that is fine with me. I know there are a few people out there who have known this for years so thought it best to do it this way. I surely do know how to make good vapor from a MZ though and do with every one shipped.

Or going to an oncologist and he's smoking a cig while informing you of your future options for cancer treatment.
I totally understand that you're decision to smoke while making and promoting vaporizers does not quite fall into the extreme examples stated above, but the analogies do hold true in a way, no?
I mean, if you don't have enough faith in the health benefits of your product to use it, and you don't derive enough enjoyment from using your product to use it, why should I, or anyone else?
It's kinda the same logic that I apply to product that only comes with a 90 day warranty. If a manufacturer doesn't have enough faith in the reliability of their product to warranty it for more than 90 days, why should I have enough faith in the reliability of said product to buy it?
No offense Rick, but all of this just doesn't make much sense to me.
Not trolling and will not delete. I am not comparing two similar vapes ad-nauseum nor am I trying to create conflict between two different entities. THAT is trolling. That is not what I am doing here.dadesign said:ok that shit is trooling my good man... if I was then you are now and I think you should delete it like I didlwien said:Wow. This is kinda odd. Dropped. Nothing more to say especially after the diatribe above.NoSmoke said:I think both of ya'll have waaaaay too muvch time on your hands. Just drop it guys, let's get along!
Aren't you making a bit of a leap to assume he doesn't have faith in his product? If he preferred to use another vape over his own, then that would apply. I can agree with you on the warranty thing. But at the same time, we are still making an assumption as to why. One could just as easily say someone with a long warranty period is just using that as a means to increase the cost because people love that security. It's just like the extended warranty many appliance/electronics stores try to sell to folks. The vast majority are worthless because most problems occur within the original warranty period (according to Consumer Reports). So, if a manufacturer feels the need to scam me with a unnecessarily long warranty, why should I support said manufacturer. Who is to say I am right? What I'm really doing is jumping to conclusions. I just don't think making unfounded assumptions about someone's intentions is productive.lwien said:Wow. This is kinda odd. A different perspective. Well said and respected, but I do disagree with your last statement. I think that it can be very productive to challenge ones statements regarding their intent, that is, as long as the person being challenged responds with what their intent truly is. To me, it's all part of the learning process albeit a bit confrontational.reece said:Aren't you making a bit of a leap to assume he doesn't have faith in his product? Yeah, I get a few more hits too (no where near 10 though), and it is, more than likely, water vapor, but for me, I get just as high off of one stem by not drying it out, and it tastes a WHOLE bunch better. So for me, the bud goes directly from a mason jar into the stem.reece said:On another note. How goes the not drying your herb thing? I saw the post you made about it but forgot where it was. I've tried it. I'm getting visible vapor for probably 10+ draws whereas before I was getting 3ish. But I don't feel any more medicated. I think the extra vapor is water vapor. What's your take?
I hear ya. I haven't noticed much taste difference. Do you get good flavor throughout all of your hits, or is it just the first? I only get good flavor in the first hit whether dry or not.lwien said:Yeah, I get a few more hits too (no where near 10 though), and it is, more than likely, water vapor, but for me, I get just as high off of one stem by not drying it out, and it tastes a WHOLE bunch better. Is he sending you threatening emails? I seem to remember you mentioning that somewhere. If so, I'm sure Vtac would like to know that he is still using FC to send threatening emails to try and intimidate other members. It definitely seems to be a pattern. Keep copies of those emails.dadesign said:Hennessy seems to be a god at doing it.
