Hey Rick how bout a glass adapter ( one end the normal removable tip and the other side 14.5mm for bongs ?
Also what's the highest voltage power adapter have any of you guys used, I notice my laptop power adapter fits its 19v ?

Rick has advised that we never use anything more than the 13.5 on the Zap. And then, only during use. My understanding is that you run a danger of overloading your heatport and can fry it. If you want higher temps, maybe you should also invest in a varying temp vape.

The few who have "pre-ordered" or whatever on glass have basically prompted me to order another slug of Tootys. I still have a few of the first batch left and they are close to 11 inches, a bit on the long side. So I ordered some shorter ones with different color and even one with no color. So rather than a pre-order, I would call those ideas for different glass that will be added to our glass inventory. We will have enough inventory to keep everybody happy with the models we have. None of this "now you see it, now it is gone" stuff. No sweat ob, I have you covered.
I don't even like to see folks use the 13.5 much as the 12 volt really does the trick now with the heatport re-design. 19 volts will totally fry the heater in a big hurry. Won't hurt the heatport but the actual heater will die like hit by a semi truck.
Heyslick, you are referring to something similar to our "short stem" only with glass used rather than the food grade nylon? I doubt we will do that unless we can find an over the counter glass piece that our removable tips will install easily into. I will check on that though when I see my glass guy.
Last thing is I often get orders/Emails from folks who are on FC. It would help if you relate your screen name to your Email name when you correspond with us. Some folks I know well, others are baffling and it is difficult for me to connect the names so there will be some confusion other than the regular confusion that is a daily part of my confusing confusion. Got it now????

Mom I don't want it hotter just thought it might heat up faster then switch to the 12v. But I'm glad I didnt try it don't want to damage mine. <<<<I guess good things come to those who wait >>>>

I'll be picking up another batch of Tootys and some shorter Planejanes today. Different colors, no color, shorter, bend at the bottom on some. I guess he likes this gig as I called to order Wednesday. Probably did not hurt that I told him all my purchases would be cash from now on. You know, those glass guys. Actually it is the commercial account that does it. He trades work for cash right now. No Tooty inventory hanging around for him.
The new batch will be ready to ship Monday. I'll get a pic up later. Might even be a bit better pic as our youngest(33) and his fiance are coming up for a visit today.(married in two weeks!). She is good at photography so maybe can give us some tips on product shots. All Zaps ordered through June 6 ahipped as of today. Back to sanity around Zapville

so of course I am ordering another shorter tooty. I cant wait to see what they look like today. I still would like to see a glass version of the plastic tubes we use now. they are a good size and I like the shape as well. would anyone else be interested in those?

Really no big deal, just more of the same only running shorter. The longest of this batch is about the length of the shortest last time. I am going to get some more short(6") colored as the two in the pic are spoken for. Same for the plain short tootys. Two of them there(hard to see, next to the green Planejane) and one for sure is spoken for. I did expect more in the 6 inch range but then that gives me a reason to order more next week. The plain short Tootys will be a hit because I get them for less than the colored ones so they will be cheaper, a little above a PlaneJane though. My price is also good enough on those and the three Planejanes that I am cooking up a new FC Zap offer of some kind. With some slight pricing adjustment, I can include a plain short Tooty with every order. But that will be another day before I am ready for that. Very soon though. The green ones cost me a bit more than even the long Planejanes. Short clear cost the same as the long ones. I will be looking into some different shipping boxes real soon. We tried to do a one size fits all the first time out and they are too big for the short ones. They all need a box though.

Rick, out of curiosity, what is that yellowish /brown color at the top and bottom of the glass stems?

That is some sort of gold mist that darkens with time I think. Not sure though. I'll ask him again next week. I will definitely be getting more similar to the one Jordan23 pointed out. Pat and others like that one.

Lwien-Rick's right, that stuff is gold fuming, it will change colors with use. I think it turns blue, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. It has to do with material collecting inside the stem changing it from translucent to opaque, like back when color changing glass pipes were all the rage. I love how the glass game has evolved since I fell in love with glass 12 years ago. I bet we'll be seeing some of that stuff on antiques roadshow in 100 years. Prohibition era marijuana antiques.

EDIT:well, I guess WE won't be seeing much of anything in 100 years, but someone will.

Hey Mom, I got my stuff and tried it in my Zap. I darkened the room and turned a small light on. WOW, I did everything that was suggested on the forum took a long slow hit and felt some tickling in my throat, then exhaled a huge cloud of vapor into the light. I couldnt believe it. Eureka, It worked, so I finally got 4 hits; the last being just a wisp of vapor. I guess I got the technique down. This is awesome, sure beats the hell of toking. I did however use the 13 V power. Ill use the 13 for maybe a week then go to the 12 V. I cant believe my incredible good fortune.

So glad to hear your first Zap experience was a good one Lycanthrope! You might find that the 12v is plenty after this first time. And wasn't the taste of the herb just amazing? So much nicer than toking, for sure.

congrats lycanthrope. glad you finally were able to use it. So I ordered another tooty today. I ordered the straight clear version seen on the left of the clear ones. I had been waiting for a clear one and am excited that rick finally had a couple of them made. I still would be interested in a glass version of the plastic ones that we currently get. I think the size and shape is good. maybe in the future?

I am online a little less right now as it is finally beautiful here in oregon. when it gets that way you have to take advantage

I dont think the Tootys will work with a bong as the mouthpiece isnt ground and is fit more for a pair of soft lips. I still think the stubby stem (or stock stem) is the way to go if you want to bong it. (Why mess with what works wonderfully now!)

I might have jumped the gun a bit with Myrtleglass.com. I wanted some sort of glass name and then jumped the URL, then said OK, now what? The Myrtleglass url was originally intended top be a buy only site but we have a new plan now. The original AZ site and url will have our buy pages, even done right with a SSL this time. The Myrtleglass url will mainly be a Myrtleglass gallery. An old customer(6 years or so) contacted me about the website a couple weeks ago. This is his business and he knows what he is doing. He is also finishing up a total re-do of a University website this week which took him away from our website for a few days. It will happen and happen right this time. A bit longer wait is no biggee and gives me a bit more breathing room in the immediate days ahead. Shit, it's only been about ten years here in Zapville with a lousy website so a bit longer is real easy to handle.

AG, I loved your soft lip comment. One of the many pleasure friendly phrases. Soft lips.mmmmmm soft lips.
Glass stems are designed to work directly on the log type vapes, not bongs, etc. I will put in an order today for more short Toots in the 6 inch range, colored and clear.

I tried out my Zap again the second time yesterday with the same good results. This time I used the tube length on the stem and I didn't get the tickle in my throat, only the huge first hit succeeded by 3 smaller hits. It doesn't seem like Im getting anything while drawing on the stem until I exhale, then it's obvious I'm getting plenty and then some. This thing amazes me with the efficiency it provides. This time I took notice of the taste that I have been missing over 43 years of toking. I really liked the clean taste which just makes the vaping experience even more enjoyable. Ill be switching to the 12V today and Ill bet the taste improves over what I got with the 13V.
