Been using mine for almost a week . I also got the 13.5v adapter (thanks again Rick) and like it a little better than the 12.5v one. Im still getting the hang of it but am in love with this beauty .

As a new user myself, I'd be interested to know how many hits per bowl you're now getting. I'm using kush and I get 3-5 hits.

I'll check again today but roughly around 3-5 depending on how much is in the tip. I like to pack lighter.

I recently had two strains and one would give a few good hits while the other only gave one. It was the first time this had happened to me with the MZ. At first I thought something was wrong, then I remembered I had the same thing happen sometimes when all I had was the Supreme Vaporizer. Some strains (or maybe particular batches of any strain) just don't give many hits.

reece...I'm noticing that as well. Not very often, but sometimes I get a strain that vapes better in one vape than another. Other times I get a strain that feels better when smoked versus vaped...nice to have options!

there is also the possibility you can end up with a really nice looking, good smelling, low thc strain.... Ive come across strains like that before. You totally think your getting a good batch of high grade, but turns out too be a mid too low grade quality

1975 or so, first learning some of the finer points of Mothers treat. Only outdoor. This one was the beauty of them all. Color, smell, size even, as this was when one could still grow in a garden if it was "hidden". These guys had done it right, maybe 6-10 plants, nice Organic, Troy-Bilt tilled garden soil.
It was a 100% no high. Nothing, nada. A real lesson. Not saying that is what folks are experiencing with the different vaping of different herb but it was one of those experiences you never forget. Looks can be deceiving.

There just different herbs an such. No relation to cannabis.
But that is strange weed that doesn't get you high, hate to be thinkin i was gettin some real good an just sittin there smokin an smokin an bein like wtf.

I've thought about it, but I'm trying to limit combustion now. Curious, what's it like smoking vaped bud only? Does it taste horrible, or better yet, does it get you stoned?

I've smoked some vaped stuffs, it has an effect..
Its much less, and shorter duration than fresh...obviously..but there was an effect left in it, for me.

Depends on tolerences some I spose too.

You can also re-vape during dry spells. If I take my PD poo and put it in the Herbalaire it always releases more goodness! I bet you could do likewise in your Vapostar.

How do the MZ's do with stinkiness? Right now I own an iolite, and it's perfect for not stinking up an entire room. It's hardly noticeable if I open a window and spray some febreeze.

However, I want a bit more firepower as far as hits go so I'm looking to get a Purple Days or a Myrtlezap. Are these things stinky? I live in a building and don't need to be stinking up the halls.

Not the least bit stinky in my opinion, plus remember that you can diffuse scented oil to freshen up the room after a session.

I agree with Cr8 - the MyrtleZAP is very stealthy in all ways - including any lingering bud-like odor. That's non-existent in my experience.

Someone in some thread somewhere said that they blow their exhaled vapor into a cloth bag with charcoal in it and that keeps him from being smelled even by his next door neighbor who's a cop. I have been vaping at home in my living room (not heavily but a few hits) and my wife doesn't smell a thing when she walks in, and that's with no measures taken to minimize the smell.

Honestly, I smell my ginder (w/ herb in it) more than I ever have smelt anything while or after vaping.
If someones in your face or room as your vaping, they may smell it.
But it doesn't "hang" in the air/room.

Should be quite safe for indoor usage in a "non-MJ" friendly place/room..
Like I said, worry more about your grinder, or herb jar smelling up the room first.

I use a ton of PD's and MZ's on given days. Very minimal smell. A simple candle would just about eliminate any scent.

I've used the PD and MZ and have had the smell last up too 15-20 minutes after use..... But it is not a strong smell. Friends often tell me it smells like someone left their stash sitting open. but after 20 minutes or so, they can't smell anything.
On the other hand I have also been in situations where there has been extremely heavy vaping going on, that smell is harder too hide and doesn't go away as quickly. IME other people who vape tend not too smell it while they are doing it, and it smells a bit more than they think it does. Fortunately, unlike smoking, the smell goes away pretty quickly and doesn't linger after long periods of time.

I think if you are in a closed room and vape a lot it is likely to smell at least for a while. But if you have a window open and make an effort to exhale in that direction, chances are it isn't going to smell much at all unless you are doing a choo-choo puff kind of thing.

I have both got the all glass vapor genie first is a great vape portable, i take it with me every now and then. The myrtle takes a bit getting used to with how much/little you can put in the stem for your vaping preference. They are two totally different vapes, with both you should be well set. You will be pleased with the myrtle.

Will you expand on exactly what you mean as to how varying the packing of the MZ stem affects the user's experience?

You guys ever inadvertently combust with your VG's? I had that problem from time to time with my Vaporstar before I got my MZ about 3 weeks ago. The great thing is that combusting is all but impossible with the MZ. That was one of the main selling points for me, that and efficiency. I'm definitely using less herb these days.
