when you can find them in stock
They have some shorty turbo bowls and female joint turbo wpa’s, but the site is nonfunctional due to site software problems, you can save items to cart, they disappear when the cart is opened. They know about the problem and have yet to fix it. They told me try their new store Planethaze, but there is nothing in stock and the female joint wpa’s are not offered. Too bad because I believe they have some turbo units in stock. I sent another email to try manually to order the items that were in stock, but they never replied again. It’s too bad.

I don't know, I just purchased an 18mm turbo shorty. It all worked ok for me. Just lucky I guess. Or the VAS gods love me 🙃

That’s good, must be my browser or something, they told me other people were having problems with checkout after they did software update. So it’s possible, good. Thanks for the info.

You’re correct the site does work, I was using Edge and switched to Safari and worked, had a problem with my MC not sure why, but it took my Visa so I picked up 2 18mm and 1 14mm female turbo wpa’s plus 3 other adapters I needed. Me’s happy.

does look awesome! I knew of the 420edc hiflo stems but the change rate is brutal, so I'm glad to see a canadian options for stems/wpa with more airflow!

do you know what the difference is between the vortex vs turbo? I can see the vortex has a medium size ish hole in the middle (third image here) but I can't see well on the image for the turbo. is it just entirely freeflowing with nothing where the glass screen usually is? thanks for sharing this!

It’s hard to see but there a rim of about 1/16” to hold the screen. When I 1st tried the turbos with standard flat mesh screen I found it tedious when you unloaded the screen always came out and have to reinstall so I stopped using them. Now I use the rimless dome screens and they are really secure and never fall out when unloading and the difference in air flow between a flat mesh and done mesh screen is negligible so now it’s my favorite especially when fitting the stem off the bottom of the bowl. I have the vortex and they are pretty good too with the domed mesh screen. I have a Argo vortex stem w/small dome screen from 420edc and it was a nice improvement as well.

just a quick heads up. A friends new Airmax is tasting a bit like warm electronics or something. He just came by and told me about it. As i've never tried an Arizer before i can't tell if that is normal outgassing or a faulty unit.

Any help appreciated

Thx for the info. Maybe thats it. We'll see.
All vapes require a burn off before using them.
We did several burnoffs. At least ten at max. temperature. Still the smell and taste is there. Cleaned all parts with iso. Still there.

We noticed that we only smell it without a stem. So it is coming out of the oven holes. Only when temp is around 200-220 C

So we tried it with some flower and its a real bummer. The smell and taste is still there and it is coming from the electronics (think it is the display). Seems like the airpath is not isolated with this unit.
He already contacted the seller, but wants to return the unit. What happened once might happen again, even with another unit.

I picked up an Air Max from Arizer a couple weeks ago and have been enjoying it since! Another great unit from Arizer. I have owned many over the years, the air max is great for portability but also holds its own as a home/desktop unit. Easy to use, clean flavor, it really lets the specific variety your vaping on shine through in the flavor department. Recommended.

Both of my Air Max’s have weed dust behind the screen. Most noticeable in bright, outdoor light. Not sure there’s a cure. I hope the Solo II Max has the screen more isolated.

Just out of curiosity do you vape kief or sand concentrates? I know it should be able to do that but it might be why it's making it through and may just be best with herb?

Was about to pull the trigger on one until I saw this... Has anyone else experienced this? unfortunate that that happened and wondering if your units could have been improperly assembled.

No. I hand tear a bud into small pieces but there’s still some very small pieces in there. Arizer cleaned them up under warranty. I’m being more careful now but see a few specks here and there. I don’t see others having an issue so it must be the way I vape. Been using the Air Max more than my Solo 3 theses days.

Interesting, since you point it out maybe it is that you do inhale very hard. There's a post just made on Vaporents with someone who has a Solo 3 and said they upgraded from the Air Max... I'm trying to figure out how it's an upgrade when I truly think the Air Max is superior for the removable battery.

Do you not understand all the additional features?? Also some people would prefer longer battery life instead of constantly swapping single cells that last less...

No that's why I needed some clarification. A larger battery with the biggest tradeoff being it becomes a paperweight for weeks or however long it would take to send in the unit for repair if the battery craps out, as well as no ability to swap when it dies. Batteries lose decent percentage of life lot of life after 2-5 years depending on how often it's used. I do personally like to keep my vapes for as long as I feel it's doing it's job. I don't want to have to think about sending it in, it getting lost and everything in between.

On-demand mode just sounds like a gimmick to me being it only took what I recall nothing long at all for my old Solo 2 to heat up to temp.

On top of this the price is way out of what Arizer usually does, even costing $60 more than their newest desktop.

I personally think it was a swing and miss from them, and I love Arizer.

How about you do some research then? Fixed batteries is its own discussion pros and cons, some people will never buy one, and some don't care about replaceable... The assumption that you have a paperweight on your hand is just pure anxiety imo (many of us have many vapes anyway, there's always the potential of having a problem with a single vape if you only have one... the Air can have issues too) So it sounds like you don't understand on demand, it does not mean instant (and your frame of reference is you recall nothing long for heat up on your S2 lol) heat up, it is control over the extraction (in the S3 it is like micro sessions controlling with time as well as temp) furthermore S3 has more power, larger bowls, built with higher quality materials for the shell... Along with additional software setting options

Well, I guess that means I'm that person that does prefer it to be swappable...lol. Also, not everyone extra vapes to use on hand or wants to risk sending in a $300 device in the mail. Have you had both in hand to test if the Solo 3 is actually made with higher quality materials than the Air Max?

Agree on batteries, I don't care on swappable batteries. If it's an Arizer it's not too hard to replace them yourself. I had no problems switching my Solo OG or my Solo2. I usually go 2 days without charging. I'm very happy with Arizer products in general . Solo3 rocks, but that's a different thread :D.

Yes personal taste is one thing, so there's no reason to speak in universal absolutes... Especially when you don't even have the perspective or detailed knowledge? (Not everyone, but most any proper vaporist has more than one, if they rely on them, it's pretty hard to rely on just one thing that can fail no matter what it is that can happen... Many people would not buy a $300 device to begin with I don't know what your point really is lol) I do not need both in hand, because I do my research... I had the OG Air and now Solo 3

I wasn't aware it was easy to do yourself. What's the reason they don't open it?

There's pros and cons to everything and this would be a forum to discuss those things, right? I don't know everything and didn't claim to 👍

Can you explain to me what the benefits are of having the fixed battery other than that it holds more charge? and why do you personally think Arizer chose to go this way for the S3 instead of two single swappable batteries? for a battery that has regulated temp/voltage.

I wasn't aware it was easy to do yourself. What's the reason they don't open it?

It's easy for some people, I don't know if people are doing it with the S3 yet, there are a variety of reasons why manufacturers have sealed batteries (and like the Air requires much less power, it uses batteries that are not powerful enough for many other single cell vapes in my experience, many factors)

There's pros and cons to everything and this would be a forum to discuss those things, right? I don't know everything and didn't claim to 👍

Not the way you were doing it? You were throwing out personal opinions as inaccurate facts in my opinion that's how it came across, and off topic in the sense you are using the air thread to say negative things about the S3? So I felt compelled to correct you... (that is why specific product thread and rules against comparison kind of exist, because you and I are now going back and forth about something sort of unrelated)

Can you explain to me what the benefits are of having the fixed battery other than that it holds more charge? and why do you personally think Arizer chose to go this way for the S3 instead of two single swappable batteries? for a battery that has regulated temp/voltage.

Not really, why don't you email them and ask them why they still keep making the solo once they started making the air?? Look up reasons why companies would use fixed batteries, look up reasons why dual batteries are often fixed instead of replaceable, look up the different types of 21700 and 18650 that they are using, look up international battery regulations and shipping for electronic devices??? If you really care

Another post with a whole lotta nothing and some forum bros egging on who they think are knowledge gods 😆

Screams buyers remorse to me, you know deep down you regret spending double for a shoddy On Demand mode (you literally just posted in the Solo 3 thread saying how it's not consistent and others also). But you'll probably just buy your 132nd vape tomorrow and forget all about it.

3 years goes by pretty quick, with consistent medical user usage that S3 battery will wear down to a lot less than a single battery than I can swap within seconds, and then you schwep your way to the post office to send over something that was double the price of the Air Max and only $40 less than a TM2. Only to get back the device weeks later like someone just did with their TM2 that the company didn't touch at all.

Mods, I reported this server to the Web hosting site for being a pompous AH as well.

Some of this vape community is just way above their own heads, this would never be the way you'd communicate in real life and you know it's only something you'd do behind the screen.

PS the search function on this site is worse than the current state of the economy. You search for a keyword and get 2500 irrelevant results. What a clown show... 😆🤢🤮

Please ban/remove my account because there's no option anywhere to do so, or just leave these up for the lolz so other people are aware of the cyber-vapor bullies.
Excitable boy 🤭 !

What the heck has happened in this thread :rofl::rofl:

@bm96 is talking facts though, the search function on this site is absolute dog shite. Every time someone recommends using the search function I genuinely wonder if they’ve actually used it themselves. It craps its pants when you type short words or abbreviations, of which there are a LOT that pertain to vaping.

I recently had issues using the search to find ball vape material reports, as the search spat it’s dummy out about SiC being too short.

Urgh. One of the best things the mods could do IMO is upgrade it to actually work.

@Jojofernz what’s Mr Grass done?
