Lol! That's exactly what I was thinking a few weeks ago. At first I wasn't getting the results I'd come to love from my OG Solo. But It is a different vape, so it would make sense the most optimal technique/settings change.

I run temps lower than I did in my solo, and draw with more power (or at just regular power but experiencing less restricted airflow), and DAMN I love it. Smooth, tasty hits. The form factor is really great, it seems as tough/sturdy as the Solo, the only weakness is the Screen I think. I read either here or on r/vaporents that someone dropped theirs and the screen wouldn work anymore. It still heated up, but I guess no idea how to tell the temp.
(I mean we could time how long it takes to turn on, set the lowest temp by holding the - button, then record the time it takes to heat to a certain temp, in 10° increments by holding the + button. Then the broken screen users could repeat that and vape)

Some redditor commented that it shouldn't be too hard to swap the screen, but I don't know about that!

And it can even do concentrates, sweeeet!

Hey all. New to this thread. Currently own a Mighty, a Milaana, and a FF2 (which sees little to no use.) My Mi is in the shop for a tune up and I'm missing my glass stem sessions!

Do you all think it would be redundant for me to get the Air II (or Solo II) based on me primarily using my Mi for on demand and Mighty for session?

Edit: Guess my real question is do some you enjoy your Arizer devices in addition to the vapes I mentioned for a different experience? And I use primarily by myself. Cheers.

I think one advantage you'd get with the Air 2 is the form factor, it's much sleeker than the mighty for example (IMO). And you get a glass stem, which I prefer over plastic.

Assuming you have pre-ground material, loading and vaping with the air2 goes really fast, no funnels or stuff like that. It's great for having a cup of coffee in the morning and sipping on it for 10-15 minutes.

I like that you can set lower temps, and for example only a 5 minute session, for times when you still want to function afterwards or later in the day. You can also use a domed metal screen to reduce the oven size and use even less volume for microdosing, say.

I was kind of surprised by the release of the ArGo, not sure which one is "better", but I like the Air 2 for aesthetic reasons.

You already have quite a few bases covered with your vapes, so I'd say maybe wait until there's a sale on it?

Do you go out and about much? I find the Air 2 really easy to bring along on hikes or to parties, you can even pre-load the stems and throw everything into the carrying pouch you get with it.

The WPA is anywhere under 20$ unfortunately (I'd rather have a WPA than a second plastic-tipped stem..) but totally worth it! I was using my OG Solo for years before I even thought about using it through water, and for me it was a game changer.
The Air 2 also does Water well!

If you're not so bothered about portability, the Solo II supposedly has longer battery life (up to 10-12 sessions iirc?), it's a bit bigger but if you're carrying it in a backpack anyway it is really portable too.

And you can run a low temp sesh (about 365°F), and then get another session at 375-380.

I don't use anything on the go. Mostly at home. It seems like the Arizer's are great for leisurely flavorful sessions. Can they also be used for a quick high temp pull? I understand that the heat up time isn't necessarily on demand but can the session be sort of on demand once the unit is up to temp?

My Milaana is in the shop and I'm starting to wish I had a back up vape particularly with glass stems. Thanks again!

No problem! I think it's possible, you will probably just not get as many pulls as if you would when sipping. I know it can fill up glass quite nicely, for a few big hits. The first 2-3 hits I usually do small-ish hits, because the material still needs to heat up a bit. But the 4th pull onward you're able to get really juicy hits.
I think mine is usually hot within 60 seconds, I don't really pay attention to that. It's fast enough for me.

@sickmanfraud Nice! I guess all the original solo/air stems will work, because the chamber has the same dimensions in all units.

I love using my bent Solo stem in the air2

What you could do is to let the unit get to full temp before inserting the stem. Then as soon as you finish your draw(s) remove the stem from the unit. It's sort of VOD since the glass heats and cools quickly. Also there is some convection involved in this unit.

Where is the air 2 made?

Was thinking of getting a Tera but not anymore. :rolleyes:
(Glad I got to play with my assistants unit, yikes...)
(Seriously, my kitchen still stinks like burnt plastic)

Anyway, think I’ve narrowed it down to an Air II

The Air 2 is a awesome vaporizer, good vapor production with great taste and without any gasing.

I would say if you can detect any difference....it will be not over all....just with more power to heat up first draws quicker. But I go through water only.....and it may be more apparent direct drawing.

Are the Air 2 vapes having software issues like the Solo 2 seems to be having? Sorry if this question has already been asked/answered, but the fact that the solo was so reliable and now the second one is getting errors makes me question the dependability of these new units.

All mass produced vapes have defective units regularly turn up (even individual handmade vapes can see some defective units as well). My original Solo crapped out defectively and had to be replaced for one thing, so the idea that any product is perfectly reliable all the time is unrealistic. Defects happen, question is how good is the service (and how prevalent are issues, though thats hard to judge from outside)

It just depends on how often the company has faulty products or vaporizer. Arizer has had a pretty good record except the beginning when the older Solo first came out. The company did make things right for their customers. I bought my first Solo in 2013 and it’s still going strong.

My air2 is working perfectly. I never noticed any software/firmware glitching at all. Super solid on the electronic control end for me.
