Are sites like medicalcannabistation.com legit? Or trouble?

I realize the premise of sites such as medicalcannabistation.com is illegal but of course got no problem w/that. On the face of it, it seems viable but there's a lot of faith involved. But then hell, things have changed so much that everyone has used one and I'm the only one that hasn't. Has anyone here used one w/success? Or even an anecdotal story of a friend who has? Do you know of another retailer with this sort of business model that is righteous? This one isn't the first I've come across, just the latest and I thought I might as well ask here. Just seems too good to be true and you know what they say about that... I have a good thing going but would love the variety! Just not enough to get in trouble, I'm way too pretty!

Thanks in advance for your replies, unless they're mean. Then you get an indignant "How dare you?!
Love you FC family! Unless you were mean. Then I only stick my tongue out in your direction. :D

^There's a UK brother that understands my pain. Wouldnt it be lovely to pop down to the shop and get a bit of this and a bit of that? Someday, crazy that so many US states and countries are relaxing but not UK? What is your take on that, @Pyr0 eh? But it seems like concentrates would be so much easier and stealthy to move.

@asdf420 thank you for eagle-eyeing that https fault! This is why I wanted to ask=more eyes + more brains + experience (hopefully)! I really almost went the tor route, nice guy shared a reddit how-to but then I read if you want government attention start using tor for purchases. I can't afford government interest and I'm a scared newb so I got to get my head around it before proceeding. *sigh* But I know folks do it all lot apparently even in the UK, so I guess it must work out for both parties... But really what can you do if you get ripped off? That's why we need some system in UK & everywhere. It's stupid that they make us criminals over cannabis, when binge drinking kills so many people in the UK.

Thanks to all who've looked! Tell a fellow FCer if they have an opinion so I have more data. MORE DATA!

I know a guy at work has used Tor and one of the markets (can't remember which one). He had tried out a number of concentrates and said he never was disappointed.

I scouted out SilkRoad a while ago but never actually made a purchase. To be honest I was more interested in the tech and playing with the onion router service and bitcoin mixers. But I never found a satisfactory mail po box service and there was no way I was gonna use my home address.

I can't see the UK legalising for a little while, well not in the next couple of years anyway. For no other reason than BrexIt taking up all the politicians focus. That and the cabinet are in disarray at the moment with quite a few resignations/firings recently. What a mess ay?

@GreenHopper Yeah, no home address. I get you on that, my feelings exactly. In the states there are many more private po box places/pack and mail. I don't see those in England, not really paid attention in Scotland or Wales. But the po box service would be easily sorted in US.

Cannabis tourism could really boom in the wake of brexit, particularly with the budget worries they already have. It's crazy to me that states in America and other countries (Canada!) are more progressive than England. Cannabis has been so demonized as a political emotional tool for so long, the politicians everywhere now have to find a way to gracefully backtrack and extricate themselves from their bullshit. Not completely sure I want the same fools to be in charge of whatever regulated ganga plan they come up with.

I'm OT on my own question. Please don't report me.

I don't actually think the politicians have all that much of an objection to the idea legislation that would allow legal regulated cannabis use in the UK. I just think they are more concerned with trying to find a way to BrexIt that doesn't screw their careers up. They are completely fucked up and totally overwhelmed by the whole political landscape at the moment. Cannabis legalisation is way down on their list of priorities.

Until then it's either, Tor, grow or someone you know. :(

Maybe in the UK they give a bit more of a shit, but in the US even if you're getting a pound or 2 every month in the mail directly to your house, the person shipping it has gotta be a dumbass for you to get caught.

If you find a nice place to order ounces to your house, go for it.

Even in a shitty illegal state in the US I wouldn't worry about the feds busting down my door if I'm receiving 1 or 2 oz of herbs a month.

However, anyone on the clearnet or paypal/instagram/anywhere else can kiss my balls... I wouldn't trust this site or anyone else claiming they'll sell you weed over the internet without some sort of security precautions in place, but it's your freedom. :2c:

I know, it's sad how they're making criminals out of a plant that's not like opium or manchineel.
I've already used Tor a little bit, among a few other things so... I guess I'm flagged already. Haven't purchased anything though. I think most people really into computers have used Tor.
Using the Tails OS and going to a library or other place with public wifi should be enough, hopefully. And make sure they're not recording your screen? :p Haha
Could also add a VPN (or your own VPN on a VPS, and some take Bitcoin) between you and Tor
Safer to get bitcoin without it being linked to your name, if possible. (not coinbase, but more black-market bitcoin..) but that might be too paranoid

Don't worry about a VPN if you're using tor. It's pointless.

Just use bitcoin ATMs, they're everywhere. You're going to have to use your phone or an ID though... it's not illegal to use bitcoin, nor is it anonymous. If you wanted to use a truly anonymous crypto, look at Monero.

You have the right idea but you don't need to take a million precautions if you're ordering an oz every 2 weeks or some shit unless you're a dumbass.

If you're getting pounds a month then you can start being darknetTony Montana, but really you could do everything from the safety of your home in your underwear if you're just getting personal amounts.

Thanks guys for the encouragement. As I said somewhere a lovely member here pointed me in that direction via a big reddit guide, it suggested all manner of ID protection using flash drives and different OS, anonymously acquiring bitcoin, it seemed really comprehensive. In the end, it seemed like too much effort and PITA compared to going to London to see my guy. Because we are indeed talking an ounce or 2 a month. And the consensus seems to be Tor is my best option.

It's embarrassing but I'm no longer able to use the problem-solving and technological mindset that served me so well professionally. Eventually, degenerative and chronic (ha!) skeletal fractures and now chronic (twice!) neuropathic pain has slowly robbed both the ability and the desire if that makes sense. Over the last 6 years, I've lost the extra energy to care about staying on top of the latest/greatest innovation like I used to. Hell, I only really discovered vaporization and FC last spring! It also slowly steals your creativity. So tbh, @muunch's outline seems much less daunting to my current mental state. I don't want to be a darknet gangsta, I'm just an old before his time long-hair trying to get good meds at not horrible prices without spending energy I haven't got atm.

So that's a huge relief going forward. Anymore practical advice or experience based tips? You can DM me if you care to take the time. I'd love to continue it here for others to find that may be similar to me. Not sure if the rules allow this type of discussion. I looked at the rules before posting, didn't see anything but I don't want to get anyone in mod trouble because they're helping me. PEACE

That is it in a nutshell. Back in the day TOR and Ƀ were a tad more untraceable as a baseline. My sis decided that route was actually safer than getting a card. If she had to get current on the darkweb savvy/safety I'm not sure it could be done.

at least in CA, I don't think you need a card. Just an official letter of recommendation with the embossed stamp and all that may be enough so they don't have to call a doctor?

The official "card" you get through the government has strict requirements and is not required by law. Some places that give a recommendation also give a card or other document that helps a dispensary contact the recommending doctor to see if the recommendation is valid. Neither the card/document or the ability to contact the doctor is a requirement under the (former) law. It just gets to the level of risk the dispensary owner is willing to take.

How things shake out under the regulations needed under the new law is still difficult to see. Because the government's theory of all your money are belong to us, the main difference between medical and recreational will be the amount of money the government collects. While there may be some testing or quality differences, the market and not regulations will guide there. It is in the tax differential that will be the main driver for regulations that divide medical and recreational and I suspect the government will regulate medical greatly to drive consumers to the more tax-laden recreational side of the market.

In WA state we thought there would be separate rec and legal stores. It's all sold at the same store. Since I have a medical card I get no sales tax added. I also can grow up to 15 plants. That's the only difference. It costs me $100 per year for a piece of paper from a doctor or naturopath saying I qualify for a medical card. I am charged one dollar for a card from the cannabis store, with my picture printed on it.

I would stay clear of those online cannabis stores. It's illegal even in a legal state. Go visit a legal state and stock up. Just don't get caught and don't try selling it. It's not worth it.
