Yeah, you've got to have the taste for belgian style beers to enjoy GM; it's strong in the belgian flavor (which comes from the yeast used, I believe). Haven't seen the Big Storm. Is that a local product?

Big Storm Brewing Co. is from Odessa / FLorida, outside Tampa. I had it in South Florida. I usually like a Belgian, I think this had cinnamon added, I'd prefer it without.

Yay!
More Wheat Beer!
Whoohoo!

And this is a new one on me from our good German brothers and sisters, (I haven't managed to hunt down the Hacker-Pschorr yet btw @Cereal_MF) so with a great deal of pleasure I bring you - Maisel's Weisse . . .

Bananas and cream, plenty of wheat and a touch of spicey smokiness . . . maybe . . . snarrf snarrf!!! ;)
Whatever man, I'm diggin it, though maybe I just love the variation

And I liked this glass . . .

Plus they were playing Jimi in the pub so I was like :D

Aw man, I love you guys! :ko:

Green goes to brown, n that's what I stand for.
looks good @VegNVape . I definitely went thru a wheat beer phase, but yesterday I was in mind for a mid weed 6-pac of Corona. Ended up deciding to finally try Landshark which I had an unexplainable aversion to ever since it came out (no offence I love Jimmy Buffet), and I gotta say it kind of sucks... Wish I got corona but atleast I have a lime to improve the taste even a little bit. It honestly doesnt taste much better than a 40 oz.

I hit the edibles pretty hard yesterday. Felt great so drank 4 Scuplin IPA cans and a hit of moonshine then some rosin dabs. That's about when the spins commenced. Almost puked multiple times and was hungover all day.

Couldn't even finish the last 1/4 of scuplin IPA today. Had to pour it out. :( think I might be done drinking for bit.

Edibles and booze is a very poor combination.

Just had the 2015 Double Trouble from Founder's. It's an imperial IPA but overwhelmingly grapefruit. I don't remember previous years being so heavily slanted to citrus.

Also had a Ten Fidy on tap. Velvety smooth and tasty. Very nice imperial stout. Not as good in the can but even the can was better than I expected.

Reminds me of college where I'd go out and get hammered and wait till the end of the night to hit the bong. Usually one trip to the toilet to puke and I'd feel better tho.

Tonight it's a beer out of Philadelphia; Yards' Saison Belgian Style Ale. I have to say as someone who used to drink beer every night but finally toned it down and became way more picky with what I'll drink (or at least buy for that matter), this beer is crisp and balanced with no offnotes. I could totally see myself going for this one a second time

Over the falls, in a barrel
I tried a six pack of this recently: (not my photo)

This one really threw me for a loop. I went in expecting a traditional hefeweizen flavor, but this beer… It's more like a hefepale ale??

The shock made me say: no.
At first…
But then I thought: yes…?

If you're a fan of hefeweizens and pales and want to try something real interesting on a hot day, I do recommend it!
