The thermocore oven is quite a bit better than the OG. It seems to extract even more, more reserve heat

Imho, the biggest plus is the integrated condenser, way easier to live with

No. The TC is more refined and it performs better with the XL bowl. But if you dialed in your torching, the difference to the OG fades. I love and frequently use both. For optimal performance I’m using the OG with the full bowl and TC with XL though.

I find both the Thermocore and Tornado to be very nice improvements over the OG. Tho note that I almost exclusively use IHs (Forge and Inductor lately).

Thermocore heat retention also enables more of a casual puffing experience which along with the XL mouthpiece reminds me of the experience of hitting a blunt.

Tornado has a different and quicker heating profile (it seems to be the best Vestratto match for the Wand IH). It doesn't have quite that same long puffs session that the Thermocore heat retention provides, but I do find it hits harder.

Hey guys been reading about the anvil for hours now. I am looking for a conduction heavy hitter that I can use natively with the wand. I want something that will hit harder then my m7xl. My dyna m21 was a bit rough on the throat when hit natively but don’t have problems with the m7xl. Does the anvil works well enough with the wand? Is the vapour really harsh on the throat if hitted natively? Does it worth the extra money compared to my m7? I also have a tm2 and solo 3. I use the tm2 mostly on afternoon as I find the lack of body buzz not so great for the night. Mostly use my solo 3 at night or dyna if I want a hard hit…

If I had to choose one TED, it would be the Anvil. I don't think the wand is strong enough for it, but works great with medium torches.
There's a reason DV is trying to catch up...

Imho, it needs to go with some glass, even a small sherlock etc. Too hot for me native

I use my OG Anvil (my only Vestratto device) exclusively with the Wand. It takes a little time to get it heated correctly but I always get dark brown ABV from a single draw. I have never used a torch on my Anvil. I think I used a torch once with my DV devices. I use the cheap UFO induction heater for DV devices. Works great once I got it dialed in.

I also had the Anvil dialed in with the UFO - worked just as well as the Wand. I stick with the Wand because of the replaceable batteries.

If you're willing to put in the time to get it dialed in the Anvil works great with both devices.
