Angus Enhanced

For the price point, this vape punches above its weight. Having POTV/Dynavap stem OD compatibility is even better. I'd have no problem recommending this as a first vape to many folks.

Signature is really nice, I haven't had it long enough to say more. I did 3 initial burn-offs, I don't have any odd smells or tastes.

It could feel a little nicer in hand, but a jacket can make that problem go away.

I'm not much of a water guy because I feel it removes some flavor from the vapor, but I finally got around to trying the side bubbler with a bit of water instead of dry. I'm pleasantly surprised at how nicely humid the vapor becomes while still retaining good flavor.

While I'm waiting on the programming cable (already shipped, thanks Mike!), this has opened up the vape a bit more for me. It tames the dryness a lot, which is one component of why I want to get the cable and try the lower range a bit.
Hi Tig,
Did you set your Angus enhanced up lower I made mine 168 178 186 196 220, how are you finding it the favour is insane.

The AE package is CAD$240 vs US$219 from YLLVape. The Canadian price is significantly cheaper after currency conversion. And like @TigoleBitties, I am Canadian.

Are you positive the 240 is not in US dollars? Current conversion is $ 174 US? I just went to the website and went through ordering processing short of payment and the AE went into the cart at $ 240 with my US address info. $ 174 would be a great price for the AE package.

It's Canadian, see their policy here. I bought it there recently. You'll save money.

You'll also get free batteries (good Molicels)

No not with this Angus enhanced, but my air vape I quite often have that at 162C
Wow, ok. I have an AVLP that I don't much use anymore after getting the Solo3 but I would use it around 167C. Seems we have similar flavor-chasing tastes. 🙂

I can't wait to use the cable and unlock even more flavor. A portable halogen with some degree of digital temperature control is a pretty rare thing in the vaping world afaik. Maybe you should try lower than 168C and see what happens. 🤷‍♂️

Programming cable arrived last night!

The reprogramming of the 5 presets was very easy, but I did notice that my initial presets were not what's in the manual 🤷‍♂️🤔

For example, preset 1 in the manual should correspond to 180C however mine was set to 185C to start. Definitely reinforces my feelings that the lower temp ranges weren't properly represented in such a nice halogen vape. I was an idiot for not getting the cable right away to be sure, but I would've paid more or been happier if less accessories were given in order to provide the programming cable as part of the default kit.

Now my temp settings are 162C,175C,185C,208C,220C or 324F, 347F, 365F, 406F, 428F.

It's early days with those temps but so far I'm very happy now. The low temp flavors are everything I hoped they would be. I can highly recommend this vape now as very very tasty halogen portable with great battery life. The complete kit is a great value but the programming cable is necessary in my opinion. The glass capsules are nice-to-have but awesome. They preserve taste and keep the vape clean.

program cable as a default accessory. i only know 3 or 4 owners who found it useful and they are in this fc sub. lol
i suspect yllvape came to a similar conclusion, idk.

Yeah, sadly I can believe that. We're a strange bunch of flavor chasers in here but most people just want to get high. I get it.

Yep.

Are the glass capsules supposed to come as a default accessory?

I didn't receive any with mine, been using it without, pretty enjoyable, not too dirty yet. Is it worth acquiring them?

If the next iteration could improve the clipping plastic, that would be sweet, but at the price, I'm not sure that'll happen.

Just vaped this on the AE at 175C or 347F. The extraction at low temps is very gentle and uniform. Let's not forget super tasty as well.

you must have at least 30% thc in that AVB. i hope you use it for something else. that pic website is free no joining?

i need to clean mine side-bubblier and stuff. i mean i'm lazy. lol if you don't like it get a fine tea strainer fill with iso/salt pour it hour and remove gems use mixture again until you get most then shake out the rest.

Yeah maybe. But sometimes it's worth it not to ruin that great taste. The effects are still great and I'm saving the AVB but haven't decided what to do with it yet.

Well I didn't pay anything so it's free, but of course you do give up your information when you register.

Try putting the whole thing, gems and all, in a ziploc with iso and then put it in hot water and shake it a bit. Fastest method I know and the gems should come clean too. I'm curious to know because if I can get it clean in 10min, I'd be willing to try the gems.

I put my CZ in a tea strainer and dropped it in one of my alcohol bins. I rinsed them off (still in the strainer) about 10 min later and they were as good as new. That is with two days used (6-8 loads). If you leave it go for longer, it may take longer. I've gotten in the habit of dropping all my glass etc in alcohol at the end of the night. I'd rather do a light cleaning more often than putting in more effort less often. The vapour also tastes better when everything is clean.

My AE landed tonight, they’ve really refined this vape into a budget powerhouse. I’ve never used my OG Angus much, but I really enjoyed using the AE tonight. I love the halogen heater, it’s unique, functional and flavorful! I was disappointed to see my kit didn’t come with the glass capsules, but the bubbler stem is a nice pack-in and it’s one of the better functioning combinations I’ve tried.

I used the bubbler stem most, and think that’s probably how I’ll use it, just mindlessly sipping on flavor while watching the tube. If I want a rip I’ll grab TM2, but I think AE might find a niche spot on my coffee table.
