Looks like a bubbler or hydro tube is the way to go.
I just wonder how it compares to my other options when it comes to harshness on the throat.
air - vape critic said the vapour is harsh and cleaning is a bit more of a hassle then the goboof.
plenty - Apparently too efficient with the herb so it's not very money saving. Again i'm not a heavy smoker, not looking to get smashed but as a handheld it is probably hands down the least harsh compared to portables. Apparently the metal coil does its job.
mighty- would rather avoid the price tag as a first timer and casual smoker. Vapefiend review said it dried his throat.
Everything about the Alfa vaporiser seems superior - price point, the even burning, above average vapour, easy cleaning, low chance of burning [or so i've heard]. But then I don't have any practical experience with vaporisers.
I feel like if the difference between the alfa and my other options are minimal this is probably it, unless anyone knows of one i'm not considering. I'm just a bit intimidated by desktops and i'd like to be able to take it to a mates house occasionally [not smoke outside though i'm in the UK].
I just smoke to chill i'm not in it to get smashed or wrecked, I prefer a longer, more even high. Also my CFS means I'm a lightweight and to heavy leaves me feeling like hell but enough helps with my pain. Sorry to keep going on I just don't want to make a mistake.
Cheers again.
I have to disagree with vapefiend , I have had both for quite some time now and use them both on the regular. It is def easier to pack the air. Just a bit of ground bud in the glass mouthpiece , tamp with your finger and you are good to go. My Alfa requires a tool to tamp the material down and have a full chamber and good vapor production . Also I feel it is very smooth for me and there is a company called planet vApe that sells aftermarket stems with extra air slots built in to cool the vapor more and add more airflow for a very low price, also to adapt to glass pieces easy. I don't see any accessories for the Alfa. I do like my Alfa when I want to get ripped on a high temp though over my air. im wishing you luck with your choice and either is a good vApe. I just feel you have more options with the air for your throat problems and it has a user replicable battery which the Alfa does not.
