Well it's not even charging atm I have it plugged in but no lights or nothing I'm really pissed off.

The Red blinking light means that the unit detected a fault with the heater and for safety reasons has shut down the unit permanently. Unless we have it in our hands we will unlikely know for sure exactly what happened to it.
"
That is what they sent me along with informing me they would send me a new unit! Ciaran was great with quick responses and great customer service. Unfortunate that this happened, but it is good to know that the company stands by their product.

That Ciaran guy is pretty good. Any time I had a question, I would email him and he always responds. I asked him about staining in the oven due to the fact I now have the scree in the oven and he replied:
"The staining is probably coming from your herbal material and it will not harm the oven. Even without the screen in the oven this will happen over time. "

I was only concerned because I had moved the screen from the MP to the Oven, and wanted to make sure I was doing any permanent damage or wasn't doing anything that might void the warranty. The stain only started after I repositioned the screen
That's the clincher for me. As soon as I get my desktop unit straightened out, I'm going to have to order one of these.

I can only compare to the MFLB. I'll have to give the Alfa 10:
taste = great, no popcorn taste
ABV = very even, nice toasty brown
battery = have not charged since Monday night (I use about half to 1 oven a night)

I just got mine along with some beautiful blueberry kush. I poked a hole in the screen and placed it in the oven. I also removed the screen from the mouth piece. I packed it tight with nicely ground herb I let dry out a little and and turned it on low for 2 pulls. I got ok clouds from that, but on medium I got 5 real nice clouds. I let my girl hit the rest on hi, I was crushed already. She got 2 nice clouds and the oven was cooked. The abv is very uniform and its a nice tobacco color. My wheel is tight, the unit heated up really fast and did not get hot to the touch even on high. It did emit a district smell when it started to heat up, but its stealthy enough my purposes. It will be used primarily for hiking and in the bed. I prefer shatter in a pen for raves.

I completely agree. It's crazy that the battery lasts for about 4 days and I use it once a day and finish a full bowl. Is it just me or after about 2 weeks are your clouds getting even better? It could just be better on a full battery charge.

I'm bluffed how you can draw hard without to be able to stop vapor production, with most of my conduction vapes since you cleared the oven there is not too much vapor, you need to wait before to start to get thick vapor again.....with the Alfa there is no waiting time and you can see a uninterrupted river of vapor going out of this tiny boy!
And the taste is AMAZING, honnestly I can compare it to my HA 2.2 which is imo, after the MV, the tastier of my units.
I don't undertand how this thread is not growing quicker, the reason is a bad timing I think, there is too much competition actually and too much cheap china's vapes.
I know staff don't like comparison here but I would like to read a owner of both the Alfa and Crafty (or Mighty, Air,...)....

@josemembreno I am still trying to figure out my technique and most definitely the clouds are getting better.
I was sipping on it like I do with the MFLB, very slow, was getting wispy clouds. I tried sipping a bit faster and that seemed to improve the clouds. Either way I was feeling medicated
. I will definitely keep playing with my technique and by my second week I should be on your level of clouds lol

Keep us updated on the progress of sending it back. Would love to know how long they take to get you a new one
Depends how long your sessions are, but that sounds odd. It is supposed to give 2 hours of battery life on low.
Also when the battery is low it will turn amber not flash red, make sure your unit is ok and functioning because right before mine stopped working it flashed red.

I lose track of time with this thing. My sessions are over 20 minutes. I hope my unit is ok. I don't want to smoke ever again
Will do, right now I am wondering which will arrive first, my replacement Alfa or new Mighty. Whichever it is, hurry up!

The Mighty looks amazing, but I already have the Alfa and the Firefly, and can't rationalize the exspense. Please let me know what I am missing.

Where has everyone gotten their Alfa from? Is the only place (for US delivery) gotvape?
They are sold out on their own site. I wonder if that means they are waiting on a new batch... Which may be an improvement on the initial batch.
I don't really trust gotvape per many FCers, but I really want to try this little guy out.
What do you guys think...wait it out till the next batch gets to Alfa or just break down and use gotvape?
