EU Order #483X from April 18th. Sent no mail or DM to get it sooner, if that really is a thing? Simply forgot it and waited until it arrived at my door.
Got my "order is now complete" mail two days ago, my shipping mail yesterday and received my DPD package today (in germany, if that matters). Unit looks pretty fine, no bad smell (only the typical new electronics device smell) or visual defects, but of course I have to test it and that review gets posted in the normal AVLP thread.

Not available in the US according to Vgoodiez and Limelight. Sold out on both.

Exact same. Label printed then no device received by the post office. No email from Airvape. No emails from Apollo.
yeah i've had many shipments since get handled. And i understand the mass shipping label printing and packing to a trailer for usps to pick up from my own work in various industries. when it's more than 3 weekdays between label creation and any scans it's an automatic red flag and cause for concern.

Same for me. Only ordered a few days earlier. Probably EU demand is just lower. Also didn’t send anything to expedite.

Yet to open it. Would be great to know what to check and what to clean before first usage.

It’ll be a while before I can use it so I’d like to make sure everything is fine with it.

WimpFrameLitter,
Ordered 4/15, got notice last week- really hoping it goes out today so at least it's traveling over the weekend, but goddamn.
I hope so for you - I got my scan email on Aug 7 and it has been sitting since then waiting to be picked up by usps

I assume that means you're (along with me) on the list for shipment out of the next batch to arrive at the shippers.

I think you might be optimistic. By now they have lost all credibility And I assume anything I get from them is another lie.

It seems many people seem to be ignorant as to what is going on in China I will use this post to highlight the current situation. The trade war between the US and China has greatly impacted China's economy and as a result hundreds of factories have been closing. There have also been dozens of factories that have been sabotaged in the last year due to disgruntled workers not getting paid. China is of course still a manufacturing behemoth but a lot of corporations are shifting manufacturing to other countries such as Vietnam which faces lower tariffs.

The recent changes with the tariffs are compounding the issue and are in part because China has failed to stop the flow of fentanyl into the US and their precursors to make it in Mexico. As a result some goods in China are now being hit with upwards of 55% tariffs. Importers can expect more delays in clearing shipments through customs due to the tariffs being increased. This is because their customs brokers have been overwhelmed with the recent changes. In addition to this, nearly everything coming into the country from China is often detained and heavily inspected by CBP once it arrives stateside. Therefore I would expect EU and other countries to receive their shipments much earlier than US customers. Shipments coming by ocean can expect delays in the port due to the backlog of freight being processed.

So in conclusion there's a lot of factors coming into play that can delay shipments arriving from China. Many corporations are feeling this and will have to switch production to other countries such as Vietnam, India, Mexico etc. China's economy is not doing well and is on the brink of collapse, especially the real-estate bubble.

I dont think the closings are as widespread as you think especially with the prevalence of origin washing. They just route through a foreign subsidiary not facing tariffs have a shipping manifest coming from that country and blamo.

So normal mailing list behavior? This is what happens when you sign up for advertisements. But its also how you learn about the steal deals like the avlp for $99. So its the choice we make to stay in the loop. Buying a device doesnt magically opt out of ads (in most cases there is a check box to ppt in) and this is for anything really. Like i didnt magically stop getting phone ads when i got a phone on presale. But a giant tech company is better on meeting deadlines. The extended wait is giving big ptsd from the enso wait. Lol. But its always the same rodeo. Id just feel bad for people ordering direct online now at full price and stuck waiting.

Totally agree here. So little effort is required for keeping the buyer informed and happy.

It borders on spammy if its emails. It should be terrible and quipy social media updates with bad diagrams and pictures of boats going real slow with commentary like "its still shipping" or "we dont know where out there it is! But its coming?" To give us comic value and relief. Id forgive the wait if they gave me entertainment.
